Thanks for taking the time to give me some advice.
I recently 'bought' a car for 800 pounds.
This is my first car after a long time and genuinely felt like a level up moment in my life after struggling for a long time. It took me an awful long time to save even that much money.
So I found this car, all looked ace I payed a friend to drive me up to go pick it up.
I get there and it all looks amazing brand new tires, brand new cambelt. Engine looked good and the guy seemed genuine.
I did not test drive the car (hindsight is 20/20) my bad. I paid the guy by bank transfer and he sent the money I sent him to his boss. (Who he claims he is selling the car for) and to be fair I saw this transaction with my eyes.
Got in the car, adjusted the seat, let's go! Doesn't go into gear! The guy claims he drove it fine just yesterday let's try and fix it. We do our research fill it with fluids oils etc... Still fucked.
He is trying to get in contact with his boss to get the money back to me as the car has not even left his drive. 3 - 4 hours pass of me and my friend stood in the cold as he can't get hold of his boss. Calls loads of different people. Finally he replies, calls him "too soft for this business" and sends him the money.
Now here's where it gets a bit weird.
He sends me the money. Thank god. Heartbroken I didn't get my car but at least I've still got my money and a lesson for life.
It's now a week later and I still haven't got my money. He says that his bank account is completely frozen by his bank (co op) and he can't buy food or fuel etc. Claims the money is there but he can't do anything until he is contacted by someone investigating him for fraud and his account is under criminal investigation.
He has apologised over and over and promises I will get the money.
He is in contact with my every day (mostly saying the same thing) I have his phone number, address and bank details.
I know I've already been an idiot but is his story likely legit? Or am I being a double idiot? Can I do anything to get my money back?

Due to the wifi restrictions set by my parents, I can't access some of the more popular websites for sims mods/cc (like modthesims, itch.io, & Curseforge) at all. (VPN is also blocked...) Take four of the really spoiler heavy geoglyphs and make them rewards for beating the temples. As it stands, doing the temples doesn't contribute any new information to finding Zelda, you just get a nearly identical flashback in each one that doesn't give any additional info. Meanwhile you can randomly stumble into one of the biggest twists in the game by accident by finding certain geoglyphs.
In my case, I've only done 3 temples, so I have to act like I don't know we're Zelda is when every NPC asks cause I'm not far enough in the main quest. It feels like did some glitchy sequence break even though this is all intended.

Bit of context: I'm very stricken with complex anxiety problems. My problematic anxiety is debilitating to everyday life and always has been. I've gone through every single treatment you can think of; ssris, snris, beta blockers, benzodiazepines, all sorts of therapy and a bunch of other things. Of course I still expose myself to anxiety inducing experiences constantly and on a daily basis in aid to get myself comfortable to situations, but I cannot ease it.
I have about 25g of GT which I grew about 9 months ago stashed away and all sealed up which I only experimented with once as a 3-4g trip.
I'm now considering attempting microdosing using this supply to aid with my anxiety.
Does microdosing psilocybin assist with anxiety disorders? If so, what sort of dosage would I be looking at?

I’ve got an older Sears Craftsman rotary tool that still worked fine until I opened it up to cut in a momentary switch that I mounted to the end of a flexible shaft extension specifically bought for this tool so it’d give me the ability to have either variable or full speed fingertip control at the business end. It was all good until I stripped one end of the line in and in that instant, 3 wires detached from their old crimp on connectors. I think I have the original circuit design figured out, but I wanted to run it by the hive mind first to make sure it doesn’t go kablewy on me.
The power cord comes into the housing and runs to pin 3 of a 3 position 4 pin switch for choosing off, variable, or full. 1 is NC, 2 goes to the rotary pot for the variable speed, 3 is Line in, and 4 goes to the output of the pot to join the feed of the stator. The neutral goes from the cord in to the R brush and is jumped over to the left brush for the commutator. Where I had cut in the switch was on the line in between the cord and pin 3 of the mode switch and it was running to a 3 pin momentary on the common pin and then back to the mode switch off of the N/O pin of the momentary. That sound about right?

Finally spoke to my broker and based our improved income he’s pretty sure he can get us in with a A lender which would be one of the big banks. We are currently with Home Trust and he wants us to move away from them for obvious reasons that their rates will be far higher than below.
During the call he said TD was offering the best rates 3 year 5.14% and 5 year 4.99%. Our broker also mentioned that rates are going to increase very soon so he won’t be able to guarantee these for us.
So I guess the question now comes down to are people here seeing anything better out there, if so how do I get my current broker to get that for us?
Does the community have any suggestions on how we should approach this situation?
