Hi everyone!
I've been doing some work to incorporate your comments and feedback into my itinerary, as I am now posting here with relevant changes since I cannot edit my original post for the length is too long and it remains unchangeable after posting.
The plan as a whole remains structurally the same - but I have added dates, days scheduled to be off, extra location mentions, removed some areas, allocated more days to other parts, etc.
One of the main things people suggested was to take more days off. I agree with this - but I've left it up to me to decide on the day. Basically, I have the opportunity to rest or do something. Probably rest, but just in case I did want to do something, I have the option for it. Honestly, it probably won't matter because I'll probably change things up a lot regardless.
Additionally, most of the activities listed are the top things to do in said area - not trying to do all of them, just giving myself the most options possible of what to do when I'm there.
I'm looking to start booking accommodation soon, and I am working on the rail passes. However, I am unsure whether I need to book these tickets in advance:

• Alpine Route ticket
• High speed ferry/Toppy to Yakushima ticket (need return trip)
• Kurobe Gorge ticket (need return trip)
• Studio Ghibli (10th of June)
• Any other tickets that might need advance booking? Please let me know!

After this, likely head back for the day. This path was suggested to me and sounds good, so I've put it here.

I just wanted to share my recent trans joy with all the ladies here, the juicy bit is in the last paragraph so skip to there if you like.
I came out at work and Facebook yesterday which means I'm now completely out of the closet. Everyone on Facebook was chill and I even had a few people I hadn't talked to in years message me to congratulate me. Work was super anticlimactic — everyone was supportive and one coworker who I'm relatively close with told me my letter made her cry. I've been rebuilding my social life the past couple of months and made two really awesome new friends. Earlier this week I went to my mom's house for dinner and for the first time she went the whole visit without accidentally deadnaming me. I'm currently deep in the throes of a one sided crush and even that has been positive in that it makes me feel young again, but unlike when I was actually young I'm able to keep it from going to an unhealthy place.
Last night, at like 1:00am, I was out on my apartment balcony having a cigarette and listening to "Fumando en mi Funeral" by Depresión Sonora. As I leaned against the railing and looked out through the hazy night air at the shining city lights I thought to myself "I love being alive," and that's the first time in my entire life I've ever had thought. For as long as I can remember, life was something I was subjected to and forced to deal with because what choice did I have? When my egg first cracked I was terrified and I had vivid, intrusive thoughts of self harm and worse. But 9 months of HRT, one new gender and two new names later, I'm so fucking glad I made it out alive because it was definitely touch and go there for a minute. If your egg just cracked and you're struggling right now, I want you to know it can get better and I hope with all my heart and every fiber of my being that one day you'll get to write a journal entry that's as full of joy and relief as the one I wrote last night.
