As most if not all of you know, I made a post last week about a leaker who heavily speculated/confirmed a new update would arrive on Tuesday. It began to spread like wildfire across a few social media platforms and the leaker redacted their post stating
"I removed the post of my twitter page about the possible update tuesday, it caused a lot of controversy due to people not being able to understand that i was just speculating, i apologize if i put someone to believe in a misunderstanding"
Kudos to them for owning up to the post. However, although the next update isn't happening today, another leaker aka Laisul stated earlier today
1. The upcoming MultiVersus patch was uploaded to Steam on the ‘predeploy’ branch, which means it has been complete and is ready for release. This likely means that the patch will be released either tomorrow, or Thursday :)
For those who don't know what it means when a patch is in predeploy it means
2. The "predeploy" branch of Multiversus on Steam gets updated only a day or two before the patch, depending on if it is a relatively big or small update.
In this case, it was uploaded two days before the end of ValentiNeon so take that as you will.
Also this does ring true for previous updates that we got and hence why the other leaker was able to accurately predict that we'd get an update last week, which ended up being on Monday.
So, and this is pure speculation from me, it looks like we may get patch notes tomorrow night and an update with more content on Thursday going forward if we go by previous patterns with these kinds of events. Maybe some teasers on the Twitter account but, again, this is just my take on it.
Given how the ValentiNeon event is ending soon, an update was expected but we needed confirmation on how soon it is and it looks like we're getting it sooner rather than later.

As some of you were made aware yesterday on the other sub, I made a comment that teased a new leak for MVS on other platforms (Mobile and Switch). Some of you may have put two and two together on what it is so today we’ll find out if you were correct in your assumption
This leak from January 18th showcases all the platforms that PFG aspires to release MVS on and two of them that stand out the most are Switch (6th from the bottom) and Android (1st from the top) as seen below

Now I know all companies have a certain list of platforms they would like to release their game on from the get go so this could mean nothing.
However, here’s the kicker, I made a post a few weeks ago which showcased a support system for a Gamecube Controller being added to their files but it is not available yet (keyword: yet). This update to the files was added a little less than a month after the platform leak above was posted. The Switch supports a Gamecube Controller via adapter which adds more justification to its support being added. The same Leaker as the one who made the post above found this before anyone else (Feb 14th) and the only other person to acknowledge it mentioned it a week afterwards (February 21st)
As for Android, This leak (which contains 3 images regarding the Mobile verison) showcases the amount of progress that has been made on the Mobile version so far. It dates back to December of last year.
He states "For android version we have more than 50 lines of code for configuration. Definitely a lot of progress happening with the mobile version" Another image showcasing progress on the mobile version.
So we do know that they are working on these versions of the game for the future.
So, and this part is pure speculation from me, it looks like a Switch release for the game is definitely possible and is being worked on behind the scenes. Along with this game being made available on Mobile which would be interesting to see how that performs.
Also worth noting that the ongoing F2P game also published by WB Games called ”DC Universe Online” expanded from Windows and PS3 to PS4, Xbox One, and Switch throughout its lifespan so far and is expected to release on PS5 and Xbox Series X in the fourth quarter of this year. The game is 12 years old too. So, naturally, this can happen for MVS as well.
Take all of this as you will but this is something I felt the community should be aware of.
What are your thoughts on MVS possibly coming to the Switch and Mobile in the future?
Edit: Also worth noting that both MK and the Injustice franchises both have Mobile versions of their games as well so it wouldn't surprise me to see MVS added to that list.
