Just picked it up a couple days ago, and have had a hard time finding a way to make the thing work - Yeah, I get it, wheelie cancer or whatever, but all the gameplay videos/guides I've found on it are from before it was nerfed - aka, they say "load HE and lol at enemies with your 100+ HE pen", which no longer exists, and then demonstrate a match where they sui-scout directly through the enemy team of stormtroopers to rack up like 8k spotting and 2k damage before coming out the other side basically unscathed. Meanwhile, if I try to get lights early by just peeking over hills at full speed, I get completely wrecked because this is somehow a shell magnet - In the 30 or so games I've played so far, I've been snap-shot OHKO'd by FV4005's three times, lol (I suspect the magic tire armor I kept hearing about was also nerfed). I've also been outspotted by an FV on at least one occasion while trying to passive spot in a bush on Airfield - I know the view range is not so great, but it definitely feels like camo shouldn't be functioning as bad as it is (concealment rating currently 1026).
Nonetheless, I got this tank because go fast, and it do go fast - it go very, very fast. it is very fun to drive, but I've been completely useless in basically every game so far. I also spent a boatload of blueprints to skip basically the entire line to it (I don't play any other French tanks) and gave it a Christmas crew, so I definitely want to get better with it.
Currently, what I've been trying:
Get early lights without exposing to danger, just to get a sense of enemy team's setup. Then fall back and, so long as everything relevant on the enemy team is spotted, derp around and play Tokyo Drift in the back lines for a bit to conserve HP or take a few sniping shots where I can, then in the mid/late game (or as soon as the heavies and mediums on the front lines aren't keeping things spotted for TD's and arty), make scouting runs to light things for the real snipers (if I didn't die to an FV at the start, this is where I usually die immediately, because I get spotted first), and if there's a hole in the line (and no scouting needed), make a break for arty. Usually though, when a flank needs spotting, it's because everything died, and the game is basically lost :v
Side note, yes I know to press 'X' for skill, and to not go in a straight line, and that you can do sharper turns in speed mode by letting off the gas, and that you can do that while swapping to 8-wheel mode to do a barrel roll (have not succeeded yet in having this reflect shots. Will do more research)...

• This episode was co-written by Chris Derrick, whose likeness was used as the file photo for the Romulan dissident, Lurak T’Luco, and the severed head prop for that same character in “Disengage”.
  
  • He also co-wrote the season two episode, “Hide and Seek”.
• Mixed in among the bridge sounds at the very beginning of the episode we hear some distinctive TOS beeps and boops.
  
• We learn this opening scene is Not David Marcus’ dream sequence of some sort after he opens fire on the USS Titan A’s bridge crew. Still, in his dream, before NDM kills Esmar, they say, ”I know what you really are.” Esmar is a Haliian, introduced in the TNG episode “Aquiel”, and as such likely mildly telepathic.
  
  • Later in the real world, Esmar gives NDM a brief look from down a corridor that could be construed as them being aware of the fact that something is off with him, or just a passing glance.
• Riker’s acting captain’s log records the stardate as 78186.03.
  
• We don’t get a view close enough to actually make out what the objects are floating around the exterior of the Titan A tending to the repairs, but in DIS we were introduced to the 23rd century DOT-7 drones and the 32nd century DOT-23s. Potentially we’re looking at a 25th century equivalent.
  
• Riker claims that so far as he’s aware Changelings can mimic individuals on sight, but ”not their internal physiology.” In “The Adversary” Odo stated that when he mimics a rock he would register as such on scanners and speculates that Changelings more skilled than himself could do the same humanoids. Doctor Bashir confirms that the Changeling who was masquerading as a human ambassador was scanned and registered as human.
  
• Seven says that protocol since the Dominion war is “Every crew member passes through an internal imaging chamber.” Though not quite the same thing, when the Protogies arrived on relay outpost CR-721 in “Asylum” the first thing they had to do was go through a biometric scanner.
  
  • The protocol was put into place to verify the crewperson isn’t a shapeshifter attempting to sneak aboard. Of course, we’ve seen Changelings mimic everything from glassware, to a spacefaring being, to fire; hopefully Starfleet has accounted for that as well.
• On M’Talas Prime, we see a hologram of Raffi wearing a mobile emitter. It appears identical to the one the Confederation La Sirena used to create the Emergency Elnor Hologram in season two’s “Hide and Seek”.
  
  • The original mobile emitter came from the 29th century timeship, the Aeon, Krinn is able to recognize the one Raffi is wearing for what it is.
• The USS Intrepid NCC-79520 arrives to the Titan A’s location. This is merely the latest ship to bear the name.

• According to production designer Dave Blass, the Intrepid is a Duderstad-class ship, designed by Doug Drexlar and Bill Krause. It’s named for Drexlar’s late wife, Dorothy Duder, who was a food stylist on ENT.
  
• Captain Shaw lists off several events he thinks will be considered negatively in Starfleet’s accounting Picard and Riker’s guilt:
  
  • ”That time someone hot dropped the saucer section of the Enterprise D on a planet.” - The USS Enterprise D’s saucer made emergency landing on the inhabited planet Veridian in “Star Trek Generations”.
  • ”That time someone threw the prime directive out the window so they could snog a villager on Ba’ku.” - In “Star Trek Insurrection” Picard did get romantic with a member of the Ba’ku, but only after learning they weren’t actually a pre-warp species, and working to prevent a rogue admiral from forcibly relocating them to steal their resources.
  • “Or the time you boys nearly wiped out all of humanity by creating a time paradox in the Devron system.” Actually, because of the nature of the time paradox in “All Good Things…”, those events did not happen, and Picard is the only one with any memory of it.
• It’s Ro Laren! From Star Trek! Commander Ro is played by Michelle Forbes.
  
  • When last we saw her in “Preemptive Strike” Ro Laren defected from Starfleet to join the Maquis’ struggle against the Cardassians after the Federation abandoned its own citizens because it was more convenient to do so than continue to skirmish with the Cardassian Union.
  • Michelle Forbes has previously turned down opportunities to reprise the role, both for DS9 and VOY.
• Seven gives NDM a Starfleet uniform so he’ll go unnoticed by the security officers transferred over from the Intrepid. • ”That was 30 years ago. The Maquis are no longer an enemy.” Riker is technically correct as all but a few dozen Maquis were wiped out by the Dominion after the Cardassian Union became a member in “By Inferno’s Light”.
  
• ”You trusted her when no one else would.” Riker is referring to the events of “Ensign Ro” where Picard initially did not want her aboard the Enterprise D until she proved herself to be a valuable officer despite her reputation.
  
• ”Your Bajoran earring…you’re not wearing it.” In “Ensign Ro”, Ro‘s condition for joining the crew of the Enterprise D was that she be allowed to wear her earring, despite it not being strictly within the Starfleet uniform code.

• The brief glance we get of Ro’s boot knife it appears to be similar to the knife a Bajoran used to murder a Cardassian file clerk in “Duet”.

I just hit 300 albums so I’m back with a new post. I last posted when I reached 100 albums.
I’m always interested to hear how people’s attitudes about listening and rating change over the course of this challenge. For me, I’ve become more lenient about handing out 5s during these past 200 albums. I used to reserve 5s only for albums I loved at first listen (or that I already own and love), but I’ve given out some 5s lately for albums I just thought are basically perfect, even if I don’t plan to listen to them on a regular basis.

Artist Biography by Daniel Karasek
Big Freedia is a bounce artist from New Orleans. She was born Freddie Ross in 1978 and grew up listening to Michael Jackson and Patti LaBelle. She joined the bounce movement in 1998 when she joined drag queen bounce artist Katey Red’s posse. Freedia released her first single in 1999 titled “An Ha, Oh Yeah” which was followed by the album Queen Diva in 2003. When Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans in 2005, she moved to Texas where she continued to spread the bounce movement. In 2011, Freedia released a singles collection Big Freedia Hitz, Vol. 1 which was picked up for national distribution by Scion A/V. Two years later she went on tour to open for the Postal Service. In 2014, she finally released her official debut Just Be Free. Then in 2016, Freedia was featured in Beyoncé’s “Formation” video and world tour. From there, she started collaborations with many top artists including Diplo, DJ Snake, Drake, Lizzo, Dillon Francis, Icona Pop, Kesha, and many more. Freedia even did some Christmas tunes including “Rudy, the Big Booty Reindeer.” Now, she wants to throw a huge party on the Farm!

I really did not mean to not respond. It's just that I get busy, especially during the weekdays. I switch jobs at the end of the month so I am pushing extra hard on two ends. But I think you deserve responses to your points. But can we take just one point at a time?
About the homelessness issue here's a sample of what you wrote:

I feel we did touch on it, but maybe not as thoroughly as you wanted. Dignitynduty had some thoughts. I also addressed it here (scroll down until you hit the section starting with "Since starting to chant...").
I know very little about the SGI in Japan. My perspective on the SGI-USA is basically from what I see in my district, occasional Zoom meetings at the chapter or region level, and publications. My entire practice has been through the pandemic lockdown so my experience is very different from yours. Also I think you raised a fair point when you said that there's a big difference between practicing in LA and in the rural heartland.
May I continue to respond to your question through a personal lens? As you acknowledged, in April my wife and I start our third year of practice. But just on March 5th we celebrated our first year anniversary of receiving our Gohonzon and becoming formal SGI members. "May Contributions" starts in a few weeks and the requirement is you have to be a member for one full year before formally participating through your portal (although we have sent in monthly checks by mail and they were never returned). Finally, we are eligible to participate.
As a family we are proud that we donate to a lot of causes. We donate regularly to the Red Cross disaster efforts both in the United States and abroad. Our favorite cause is the local Ukrainian Center and they provide financial and material support to their homeland. We contribute funds, boxes of goods (very much like what your children do), and one of us does hours of both volunteer and paid work.
Let me join these two strands of thought. When it comes to helping important problems--like homelessness, starvation, and disasters-- our choice is to go through an organization like the American Red Cross that knows exactly the best way to do this. This should be our choice. The SGI-USA organization has another purpose totally and we back that 100%. So I don't think that "start helping the starving folks" is a fair criticism.
As far as "lining the pockets of a corrupt and cult organization" goes, the SGI USA has a lot of expenses. We have many (I read somewhere over a hundred) activity centers that require rent, utilities, and upkeep. Each year we are building more centers. Where we live, depending on traffic and weather, it can take two to three hours to get to one. Everyone here is chanting that we can have a center much closer to us. (That is not just a funding decision, we have to raise enough people to sustain one.) We have a gorgeous Conference Center in Florida which we hope to attend someday. There are many staff members who deserve decent salaries and benefits. We have a wonderful online footprint and publications that must be paid for.
With all of these expenses, I simply don't see where the modest contributions my family and others make can stretch far enough to "line the pockets" of anything or anyone.
I hope you can accept these comments as sincere attempts to address your concern at least partially. It's the best I can do from my standpoint. Sorry but I have to run and start my day.

Pretty much 90% sure she cheated.

2004 - Michael Jackson has filed a lawsuit against Henry V. Vaccaro Sr. of New Jersey to return MJ memorabilia and close websites displaying the items.
The lawsuit claims that Henry Vaccaro obtained letters, pictures, song lyrics and other items belonging to Jackson through a bankruptcy sale involving the entertainer’s parents and has no right to sell them.
Vaccaro used to head a guitar company, which went bankrupt in 1992. A company owned by the Jackson family agreed to purchase it, but soon defaulted on payments, he said. Vaccaro sued the Jackson family company and was awarded a $1.4 million judgment, which the family said it couldn’t pay.
Neither Michael, Janet nor LaToya Jackson were named in the suit because they had not used money from the company.
Vaccaro said he ultimately was awarded the contents of a California warehouse filled with Jackson possessions by a bankruptcy trustee after paying $65,000, much of which was used to cover the family’s outstanding storage bills.
Vaccaro, 63, said he was awarded the Jackson family’s possessions following nine years of legal wrangling stemming from a failed business venture that wound up in bankruptcy court.
Michael's lawyer,Brian Wolf, said the pop star’s possessions should not have been included in the goods given to Vaccaro. Memorabilia included gold-trimmed costumes, financial documents, letters, awards, one of Jackson’s first outfits from the Jackson 5 and 60 unreleased master tapes -- which contained 26 of Jackson's songs which have never been heard by the public.
The bankruptcy case allowed Vaccaro only to get property belonging to Michael Jackson’s brother Tito and their parents, Katherine and Joe.
The lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles, seeks at least $10 million for copyright infringement and violation of privacy rights, among other claims Jackson is demanding his things back, but Vaccaro said he already has sold the goods to a European buyer.
“It’s gone,” Vaccaro, a construction company owner said.
Wolf said he would ask for a court order for the return of anything already sold.
Vaccaro said he could not comment on specifics of the lawsuit because he had yet to see it. “We’ll take ’em on,” he said. “They don’t have a leg to stand on.”
Before shipping the items to a European buyer whom he has declined to identify, Vaccaro spent 18 months photographing and cataloguing it for his Web site.

2019 - Michael Jackson: On the Wall exhibition started in Germany. It was the first MJ exhibition to be shown after renewed allegations surfaced earlier in the year
Curator Nicholas Cullinan stresses that it was conceived long before the controversial new documentary Leaving Neverland went into production.
Despite the renewed indignation against the deceased pop superstar, the art museum in western Germany has decided to hold the exhibition as planned from March 22 to July 14. "Especially now, when new abuse accusations have come to light, it's important to reassess the 'King of Pop,'" said Rein Wolfs, director at the Bundeskunsthalle in Bonn.
Rather than being a homage, the exhibition shows Jackson from varying, even critical, angles, the director said at a press presentation ahead of the opening: "I believe it's better to have a platform that enables discussion rather than simply to extinguish a cultural memory."
Cullinan told AP that the show “was never celebratory. It’s about the complexity of Michael Jackson, how he means very different things to many very different people.”
The exhibition features 134 artworks by 53 artists, including different depictions of the pop star by prominent artists such as Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Isa Genzken and Yan Pei Ming
Among the artwork on display is an image by Dave LaChappelle, "American Jesus", that shows Jackson lying in the arms of Jesus.
The highlight of the exhibition is Kehinde Wiley’s portrait of, "Equestrian Portrait of King Philip II (Michael Jackson)",which shows him assuming a powerful pose as he rides on a horse with cherubs following behind him. This was the last portrait commissioned by Michael, after encountering Wiley's work in the Brooklyn Museum. The artist started to execute the painting a few months before Jackson’s death, and finished it posthumously
Michael Jackson: On the Wall was produced with the co-operation of the Michael Jackson Estate and received sponsorship from Hugo Boss in the UK.
The Exhibition originally opened in London on June 28, 2018 and was hailed as an instant success. It then moved on to the Grand Palais in Paris, where the show ran through February 14, 2019.

Hi, I’m pretty new here on Reddit and this is my first post and I’m looking for advice.
I’m a senior in high school and so is my boyfriend, we have been together since the beginning of Junior year.
Back in Freshman and Sophomore year, this person (lets name him Ty) touched me inappropriately and made me touched him back, forced me in a relationship with him that only lasted a month, tried to blackmail me if I didn’t get with him, threatened to rape me, and sent unwanted nudes and unwanted texts that were sexual. Ty was also doing this to a couple other girls, including my best friend at the time.
Ty and my boyfriend were best friends during that time as well but Ty did this behind his back.
When my boyfriend and me got together in the beginning of Junior year Ty backed off and stopped talking to me but was still friends with my boyfriend. I shed some light of what Ty has done to me to my boyfriend, it was my first time talking about my experience with sexual assault to someone and they didn’t talk for almost a year until Christmas came around, they started sleeping over at each others houses and suddenly acting like nothing even happened to me.
I obviously uncomfortable with this, i tried to voice my feelings on why I was uncomfortable with my partner being suddenly best friends with a person who sexually assaulted me. But he didn’t really seem to care. I let 3 months pass, staying silent, forcing myself to play games like 7 Days to Die with Ty and my boyfriend because I wanted to be respectful to my partner, this is his best friend somehow so I tried to forget everything that happened and tried to be supportive of their friendship.
Until this month, Ty messaged me of how my boyfriend was going to cheat and was dreaming of other girls. I was upset by this and confronted my boyfriend about what he told me, but turns out Ty was lying like he usually does and makes things up because he loves being in drama and creating it. A huge argument happened between them and they didn’t talk for ONLY a week and suddenly they are best friends as if nothing happened and as if Ty didn’t just try to ruin our relationship to possibly try to get with me again because he’s that type of person and always has been.
Today I had plans with my boyfriend of watching a movie and playing some Mario Kart, until an hour before his work shift ended and he was going to be pick me up, he texts me “I’m going to stay the night at Ty’s house”. He cancelled our plans for this nasty person and I finally had enough. I cried.
Yelled how he hurt my feelings of ditching me for this person who sexually assaulted women and tried to cause drama to make us break up. He just kept saying “I’m sorry” but sorry wasn’t going to help, I wanted to spend time with my partner that I barely spend time with because I was also away for almost 2 weeks of trainings and meetings that was 6 hours away from home.
I cannot process on why he’s friends with someone that tried caused problems in our relationship and lies constantly and who hurt people and I told him that. I even told him that I’ve been feeling like a placeholder and a convenience. But he pulls the “he’s my only friend” card when he has 9 other friends he calls and hangouts with as well but rarely because he seems like he’s OBSESSED with Ty. I don’t understand. He chooses the most unpleasant and most grossest person out of all of his other friends who are very sweet and funny and are actually NOT pieces of shits.
I put myself in uncomfortable situations, which is forcing myself to play with Ty. I told my boyfriend that, I forced myself to be involved in their activities. Told him that him cancelling our plans for an asshole wasn’t fair and he just goes “yeah, I’m sorry. I’ll make it up tomorrow”. How?
I don’t know what to do, I’m kinda pissed. And he still won’t leave Ty alone, what’s so special about Ty??? All Ty as done was create problems and is STILL sexually harass girls. Why be friends with someone like that??
Can someone please give me advice on what to do? I’m uncomfortable with him being friends with the person who sexually assaulted me, I’m wanting to leave but I don’t want to because my boyfriend is my first everything. It makes me want to throw up. I don’t know what to do.

In dietary terms it denotes the practice of dispensing with all products derived wholly or partly from animals."

1. Ethics

1.1 Sentience of Animals

I care about other human beings because I know that they are having a subjective experience. I know that, like me, they can be happy, anxious, angry or upset. I generally don't want them to die (outside of euthanasia), both because of the pain involved and because their subjective experience will end, precluding further happiness. Their subjective experience is also why I treat them with respect them as individuals, such as seeking their consent for sex and leaving them free from arbitrary physical pain and mental abuse. Our society has enshrined these concepts into legal rights, but like me, I doubt your appreciation for these rights stems from their legality, but rather because of their effect (their benefit) on us as people.
Many non-human animals also seem to be having subjective experiences, and care for one another just like humans do. It's easy to find videos of vertebrates playing with one another, showing concern, or grieving loss. Humans have understood that animals are sentient for centuries. We've come to the point that laws are being passed acknowledging that fact. Even invertebrates can feel pain. In one experiment, fruit flies learned to avoid odours associated with electric shocks. In another, they were given an analgesic which let them pass through a heated tube, which they had previously avoided. Some invertebrates show hallmarks of emotional states, such as honeybees, which can develop a pessimistic cognitive bias.
If you've had pets, you know that they have a personality. My old cat was lazy but friendly. My current cat is inquisitive and playful. In the sense that they have a personality, they are persons. Animals are people. Most of us learn not to arbitrarily hurt other people for our own whims, and when we find out we have hurt someone, we feel shame and guilt. We should be vegan for the same reason we shouldn't kill and eat human beings: all sentient animals, including humans, are having a subjective experience and can feel pain, enjoy happiness and fear death. Ending that subjective experience is wrong. Intentionally hurting that sentient being is wrong. Paying someone else to do it for you doesn't make it better.

1.2 The Brutalisation of Society

There are about 8 billion human beings on the planet. Every year, our society breeds, exploits and kills about 70 billion land animals. The number of marine animals isn't tracked (it's measured by weight - 100 billion tons per year), but it's likely in the trillions. Those are animals that are sexually assaulted to cause them to reproduce, kept in horrendous conditions, and then gased to death or stabbed in the throat or thrown on a conveyor belt and blended with a macerator.
It's hard to quantify what this system does to humans. We know abusing animals is a predictor of anti-social personality disorder. Dehumanising opponents and subaltern peoples by comparing them to animals has a long history in racist propaganda, and especially in war propaganda. The hierarchies of nation, race and gender are complemented by the hierarchy of species. If humans were more compassionate to all kinds of sentient life, I'd hope that murder, racism and war would be more difficult for a normal person to conceive of doing. I think that treating species as a hierarchy, with life at the bottom of that hierarchy treated as a commodity, makes our society more brutal. I want a compassionate society.
To justify the abuse of sentient beings by appealing to the pleasure we get from eating them seems to me like a kind of socially acceptable psychopathy. We can and should do better.

2. Environment

2.1 Greenhouse Gas Emissions

A 2013 study found that animal agriculture is responsible for the emission 7.1 gigatonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent per year, or 14.5% of human emissions.
A 2021 study increased that estimate to 9.8 gigatonnes, or 21% of human emissions.
This is why the individual emissions figures for animal vs plant foods are so stark, ranging from 60kg of CO2 equivalent for a kilo of beef, down to 300g for a kilo of nuts.
To limit global warming to 1.5 degrees by 2100, humanity needs to reduce its emissions by 45% by 2030, and become net zero by 2050.
Imagine if we achieve this goal by lowering emissions from everything else, but continue to kill and eat animals for our pleasure. That means we will have to find some way to suck carbon and methane out of the air to the tune of 14.5-21% of our current annual emissions (which is projected to increase as China and India increase their wealth and pick up the Standard American Diet). We will need to do this while still dedicating vast quantities of our land to growing crops and pastures for animals to feed on. Currently, 77% of the world's agricultural land is used for animal agriculture. So instead of freeing up that land to grow trees, sucking carbon out of the air, and making our task easier, we would instead choose to make our already hard task even harder.

2.2 Pollution

Runoff from farms (some for animals, others using animal manure as fertiliser) is destroying the ecosystems of many rivers, lakes and coastlines.
I'm sure you've seen aerial and satellite photographs of horrific pigshit lagoons, coloured green and pink from the bacteria growing in them. When the farms flood, such as during hurricanes, that pig slurry spills over and infects whole regions with salmonella and listeria. Of course, even without hurricanes, animal manure is the main source of such bacteria in plant foods.

2.3 Water and Land Use

No food system can overcome the laws of thermodynamics. Feeding plants to an animal will produce fewer calories for humans than eating plants directly (this is called 'trophic levels'). The ratio varies from 3% efficiency for cattle, to 9% for pigs, to 13% for chickens, to 17% for dairy and eggs.
This inefficiency makes the previously mentioned 77% of arable land used for animal agriculture very troubling. 10% of the world was food insecure in 2020, up from 8.4% in 2019. Humanity is still experiencing population growth, so food insecurity will get worse in the future. We need to replace animal food with plant food just to stop people in the global periphery starving to death. Remember that food is a global commodity, so increased demand for soya-fed beef cattle in Brazil means increased costs around the world for beef, soya, and things that could have been grown in place of the soya.
Water resources are already becoming strained, even in developed countries like America, Britain and Germany. Like in the Soviet Union with the Aral Sea, America is actually causing some lakes, like the Great Salt Lake in Utah, to dry up due to agricultural irrigation. Rather than for cotton as with the Aral Sea, this is mostly for the sake of animal feed. 86.6% of irrigated water in Utah goes to alfalfa, pasture land and grass hay. A cloud of toxic dust kicked up from the dry lake bed will eventually envelop Salt Lake City, for the sake of an industry only worth 3% of the state's GDP.
Comparisons of water footprints for animal vs plant foods are gobsmacking, because pastures and feed crops take up so much space. As water resources become more scarce in the future thanks to the depletion of acquifers and changing weather patterns, human civilisation will have to choose either to use its water to produce more efficient plant foods, or eat a luxury that causes needless suffering for all involved.

3. Health

3.1 Carcinogens, Cholesterol and Saturated Fat in Animal Products

In 2015, the World Health Organisation reviewed 800 studies, and concluded that red meat is a Group 2A carcinogen, while processed meat is a Group 1 carcinogen. The cause is things like salts and other preservatives in processed meat, and the heme iron present in all meat, which causes oxidative stress.
Cholesterol and saturated fat from animal foods have been known to cause heart disease for half a century, dating back to studies like the LA Veterans Trial in 1969, and the North Karelia Project in 1972. Heart disease killed 700,000 Americans in 2020, almost twice as many as died from Covid-19.

3.2 Antimicrobial Resistance

A majority of antimicrobials sold globally are fed to livestock, with America using about 80% for this purpose. The UN has declared antimicrobial resistance to be one of the 10 top global public health threats facing humanity, and a major cause of AMR is overuse.

3.3 Zoonotic Spillover

Intensive animal farming has been called a "petri dish for pathogens" with potential to "spark the next pandemic". Pathogens that have recently spilled over from animals to humans include:
1996 and 2013 avian flu
2003 SARS
2009 swine flu
2019 Covid-19,

3.4 Worker Health

Killing a neverending stream of terrified, screaming sentient beings is the stuff of nightmares. After their first kill, slaugherhouse workers report suffering from increased levels of: trauma, intense shock, paranoia, fear, anxiety, guilt, and shame.
Besides wrecking their mental health, it can also wreck their physical health. In 2007, 24 slaugherhouse workers in Minnesota began suffering from an autoimmune disease caused by inhaling aerosolised pig brains. Pig brains were lodged in the workers' lungs. Because pig and human brains are so similar, the workers' immune systems began attacking their own nervous systems.
The psychopathic animal agriculture industry is not beyond exploiting children and even slaves.

Selling earbuds because I got an iPhone and bought some AirPods. Headphones have only been lightly used around the house.
Both work completely fine and have been owned for about 8-9 months. I replaced the eartips with SpinFits CP360s because the foam was not comfortable for me. The case has also been replaced because I lost the original in an airport.

For Christmas, I got my boyfriend and I a diving session in a frozen lake in the French mountains on this march 18th. I was really excited to go and when we arrived, they told us that only one of us can dive because they didn't save 2 bookings but only one. I got upset but was happy that my boyfriend can do it so he did.
I've been calling the customer service right after that and although they agreed to refund my session (minus 10 euros for various fees :-))), I can't stop being upset. I feel like I can't get my point across.
I did not get to dive, because of their mistake, and they told me I should have taken an insurance although no one offered me one?? And that I was lucky they agreed to reschedule (1 month prior because my bf had been ran over by a CAR + they only reschedule 1 and not the 2 bookings anywaumy)?? And that they can't do anything for the fee (it was THEIR FAULT???) And the last straw was that they offered me another session 3 hours later that "I declined". YES BECASE WHEN YOU DRIVE 4H30 TO GO TO A ACTIVITY YOU USUALLY HAVE YOUR WHOLE WEEKEND PLANNED AHEAD??
Guys am I being unreasonable or am I allowed to be upset. Wtf.
