Hello all :)
So I’m married. When my husband and I started dating he told me he had a daughter who was about 1 at the time. I was all for him being involved with her seeing as I didn’t have my own dad around. I became pregnant 3 months later and in the beginning of my pregnancy I snapped at his daughter’s mother due to my own insecurities. Obviously my action made the mom upset and they didn’t talk for a while and slowly she kept trying to keep in contact with my husband about their daughter. I also got pregnant again 3 months after our son was born. So now we have a 7 month old baby girl and a 20 month old toddler boy. I’ve done a lot of inner work and I’ve grown past my insecurities. My husband has been visiting his daughter, which is good. This makes him happy. We’re finally moving to our own place. Things will be so much better now that we will have a home as opposed to squeezing the four of us into a tiny bedroom. I reached out to the mom yesterday and apologized and offered my friendship because, as she said 2 years ago, we’re gonna be in each other’s lives, so we might as well make the best of it. I don’t have friends so this is cool. We’ve been texting consistently since yesterday. She’s pretty cool tbh. I met their daughter 2 years ago very briefly, she probably wouldn’t remember me cuz she was only 1 year old at the time. Which might be a good thing so I can start over. So now what’s running through my mind is, how can I be an amazing stepmom? Obviously I’m not the mother so it’s different. Even though I will treat her as my own, minus the discipline, that’s her dad’s (my husband’s) role. He works very long hours and gets home late. Our kids stay home with me, but his daughter goes to daycare. I dream of doing arts and crafts and slumber parties and waking up to make pancakes for everyone, and for everyone to be happy. But how do I get to that point? How can we ease his daughter into being part of our family? And well the mom too, she’s pretty much family as well. How can I get this beautiful, strong willed, jealous, kind and amazing little girl to trust me so I can be actively involved alongside my husband’s active involvement? I feel that my involvement is crucial because I’ll come up with things to do and basically have her around the house as much as her mom will allow. And the mom is welcome into our home as well.
I’d love to be another safe space for her. Growing up there were certain things I couldn’t tell my mom. I didn’t have any adults I could trust as a child. Maybe if she’s going through something one day, she can come to me to talk about it, if it’s something tough that she’s scared or uncomfortable to tell her mom about. Cuz sometimes things happen, you know. Like maybe a bully at school, a crush, or something more personal/traumatic which I would never wish for her but you know life is life. And also I’d like her to share good things with me. Like if she got a good grade at school. Or if she got a bad grade, I can help to see how we can get her grades up. I was always good at school.
Btw she is currently 3.5 years old

So my brother died march 19th at age 33,he was found on his knees with his head on the floor. He had struggled with smoking, alcoholism, drug addiction (pain pills that we knew about when he was a teenager) and many other mental health issues. I had suspected drugs due to his past and the fact the week before he was at home to go cold turkey off of alcohol (with an ER doctors guidance). The ME called earlier and told us its accidental overdose. He had meth, heroin, opiods, FENTANYL, and a few other things in his system, and it was most likely all mixed together when he bought it. I had forgiven him for dying but now honestly im mad again that he would put us through this and be so irresponsible. I know that addicts arent great at listening at something they arent ready to hear and that nothing we could have done would have changed what happened. How do yall cope with this?

Is sac bad to run in hc? I started leveling a paladin on my hc sp pluggy for fun and it doesn't seem to leech off bosses in instances that zeal does. Am I crazy or is that really bad for hc?
I noticed my pally dropping fast when killing nm diablo on p8. Ran away quick and switched zeal cause I thought it was the "dmg to self" in combination with Diablo's high dmg output that was killing me. It was actually that sac wasn't leeching off diablo but zeal was. Ended up just sitting there for another 30-45sec zealing at full hp till he was dead.
I'm using an un-uppep Butcher's Pupil if that means anything.

I don’t know much about cars but I will try to explain this as best as I can. I have a 2011 Chevy Malibu and have had problems with it, it seems almost every month. This morning my car was completely fine when I was on my way to work but just 30 minutes ago, when I turned it on it started shaking and making a rumbling sound. This lasted for a minute and then stopped. When I tried to put it in reverse so I could go home, the wheel locked up and it felt as if I was trying to drive the car in neutral

I’m looking at starting some body weight training/ calisthenics and I need some advice on a home workout set up/ area. Quick background, I’ve been lifting weights for a few years and have a home gym in my garage with a rack and barbell/ dumbbells. The gym also has a pull up bar and some dip bars where a lot of my workouts will take place, but I like to have a high pull up bar and dip bars in my garden to practice muscle ups, levers etc. I live in a village in the UK where calisthenics isn’t as big so there aren’t any parks near me that have these kinds of things. Would you guys recommend anything other than the pull up bar and dip bars as a must have, like a ladder set up for flags etc?
I’m going to get a pair of paralettes for the garage as well. Thanks for any advice in advance guys, really enjoying reading through this sub, lots of helpful information!

I received an N12 after the sale of our rental unit indicating the purchaser would be moving in. I had no reason to believe this was in bad faith and vacated the property. I am in touch with neighbors who indicated that the buyer lived there for 3 months while renovating their primary residence, they have now moved out and plan to re-list the property. Apparently this was always their plan.
I feel this is a bad faith eviction given that at no time did they plan to live in the unit for 12 months. Once the unit is listed for rent I am wondering if I have a case but am unsure if it meets the third requirement on the T5 since they technically did move in, just did not plan to reside there the full 12 months.
The third requirement on the T5 application is to prove that:
"c) Reasonable time no person specified under the appropriate subsection has occupied the unit within a reasonable time after the tenant vacated the rental unit..."

I feel like I would cut of my own arm to see them again. “It’s not gonna solve all your problems” fuck it it so would to see them again everything in the world would be right I’d do anything please let me see them one last time I’ll do anything. Why did they leave please come back I might not kill myself then. Even if I did I’d be happy please. I need to see them, I’ve lived for months just imagining I would see them again and that’s the only reason I lived. Those 11 months were the best of my life I was so suicidal but nowhere near how much I am now. Why did they leave if they knew I wanted to die and had already tried to why do they hate me that much, they were the only one who knew what it was like to be standing on a bridge wanting to jump of it and how it was to walk home after that. And how it was to not want to see tomorrow and to only live for one reason. Why did they go please I want to see them again I don’t know what I did wrong what could I have done please see me again. I’ll do anything just please come back. All my reasons for living traced back to them.

For context, I work at the corporate office of a large company as a receptionist. I am without a doubt the least paid person there (I know this because I hand out cheques to employees who are too old/lazy to get direct deposit and my company does nothing to hide those numbers). Many of the interns (who got jobs because their parents are on the board) get paid better than me even though I'm full time and do WAYYYY more work that what a receptionist usually would and get assigned a ton of totally unrelated work. While the company gives me nice perks, I would much rather just get paid a fair wage, what I make in a month wouldn't even cover the rent for the average apartment in my city (which is notoriously expensive). The company also spends INSANE money on tons of unnecessary stuff (I know this because I do the invoicing).
People were whining about having to go back to the office, so the company caved and gave everyone who's job required them to be in office full time a monthly 150$ expense limit for travel fees, provided they could show receipts. I am in office every day so I qualify for this, and as I take public transit my boss asked for a screenshot of my transit card transactions from their website to see how much I loaded each month. I usually walk home (which takes 30-40 minutes, but I like the exercise) so that saves me a lot of money on bus fare, meaning that even though 150$ would be an accurate number for most people who take transit I don't spend that much per month, usually closer to 60$... But I wanted that 150$. So I took said screenshot of my transit card transactions and used design software (I'm also an illustratodesigner on the side) to raise the numbers. Now I'm going to get the full 150$ and stick it to the man.

my parents got me a drill and an impact for christmas. the drill is a warrior 18v cordless and the driver is a warrior 20v cordless. i only really plan on doing small home improvement and possibly making outdoor furniture. i also need to be able to put screws through tough pieces of wood on a pier. should i stay with these forever, upgrade later, or bite the bullet and upgrade right now
