It’s been a fun ride! Walked on to my college team with a PR of 12’6” having only vaulted for a year prior. Lost a year to COVID, but then came right back the next year ready to go.
Now, 4 years later, I’ve reached 15’7”, with close shots at 16’ plus. I reached my goal to qualifying for NAIA Nationals… then was forced to take the hard hit of a NH when it mattered most.
Opening bar was 4.60 meters. It wasn’t a bar I was super comfortable with, but I was confident I could get it. I bumped the bar with my chin attempt 2, with about 1.5 feet of clearance on it. I entered my last attempt very confident I could clear it.
I never got that attempt. The wind that day was brutal. Bars were being blown off left and right all day. It fell twice on my third attempt, continuing to mess up my rhythm. It finally gets set up, and my minute starts. For 3 separate times, I tried to start my approach, only for wind to knock my pole out of line and mess up my run. I sprinted back to my starting stop, seeing 10 seconds on the timer. I tried to settle and start… only to see the official walk onto the runway and throw a red flag. I still had 3 seconds to go, but was forced to stop and acknowledge the official. That wasted my last seconds… and I didn’t even get my third attempt.
I don’t think I’ll ever feel pain and disappointment like I did from that experience. I worked 4 years to make it to that point, only for wind and quick flag to take it away from me. I think it might have felt better if I had just knocked the bar off my last attempt… but I’ll never know. Because that attempt was stolen from me.
There isn’t a doubt in my mind that if l had gotten that attempt, I would have jumped a PR that day. I truly believe I would have been an All American. But I won’t ever know.
I guess I can try to blame so many different things. Myself. The wind. The officials. My pole. I don’t know. My coaches and friends all tell me to not deny myself the achievement of qualifying and the season I’ve had. But it’s hard to take any joy in that when your dream comes shattering down to earth.
However it does, all that remains true is that I didn’t clear that height. And all that remains is to see how I move on from it. I guess this post is part of that process. I don’t know if I’ll be able to keep vaulting after college. I don’t know if I will be able to use my one extra year from COVID to compete again in grad school. I’m still figuring it out. Learning, processing, grieving, healing. Whatever is next, I hope that this sport that I love so dearly is part of it.

I had a contractor over to look at replacing some windows and they asked me why we don't remove the lower roofline. He seemed genuinely concerned and said "that's what I would do if it were my house." His arguments were:

1. There isn't going to be any insulation behind the soffit which would lead to a cold bar across the whole interior wall
2. It's going to be an entry point for water and rot
3. It limits the depth of the windows we could put in that wall
4. There is nothing structural about it, it's just decoration and looks bad anyway

This is my first house, I've lived here less than a year, and I don't know anything about roofs. I actually had to google soffit after he left to figure out what he was talking about. How should I go about assessing whether this is a good idea for the long term maintenance of the house or a waste of time and money. I am replacing the old wooden window in that wall (one on the top left) and it would be nice to have something deeper, but not if it's going to be a major expense and cause me to tear half my house apart.
If I did decide to get this done would I need to hire a carpenter, or a general contractor? What is the scope of work I'd be looking at here. He was only a window guy so couldn't give me too much advice on that. Is this something I would need to pull a permit for if the work is not changing anything structural?
Seeking any advice from anyone who has dealt with anything similar.

Je vous préviens le témoignage que je vais écrire sera très long (je m'excuse pas avance pour les fautes d'orthographe) bonne lecture.
Il y a plusieurs semaines, j'ai rencontré un homme (H41Dont on a 11 ans écart) on va l'appeler Gaston via une application du nom "Frimake" pour faire des sortie. Il avait proposé un événement au Kilowatt à Vitry-sur-Seine dans le 94400. Le Samedi 15 avril 2023 pour le festival " United Rockerz" un festival Punk en majorité avec un peu de métal industriel. Dont il était supposé être accompagné de 3 autres personnes.
Le RDV avait lieu devant l'entrée du festival à 18h. Mais au final, je suis rentrée et j'ai envoyé des SMS, j'apprends qu'il aura un retard de 1h et il s'excuse. (Personnellement, je prends ça pour un mauvais point, à ce moment là je me suis dit "ah, ça commence bien". Le mec ne préviens pas de son retard, c'est moi qui prend l'initiative de le prévenir que je le vois pas et c'est lui qui à fixer l'horaire, j'admets aussi que dans un sens ça m'arranger pour me repoudrer le nez. Enfin bref !)
En attendant j'en profite pour manger un super croque Monsieur végétarien + une salade (bien épais et généreux de fromage, noix, chèvre, miel, c'était trop bon. D'ailleurs faudrait que je trouve la recette tiens). Une fois mangé, bu et vu quelques artistes. Je renvoie un autre message, il est en route et j'apprends que au final ils ne seront que deux. Il arrive avec 1h20 de retard en tout. Ont se donne RDV devant la buvette. (Je cherche du regard et je précise que je porte des bottes rose, car oui le temps était légèrement pluvieux par moment).
On se saluent, au final on était 3, lui, moi et son pote (son amis était super sympa, marrant et chaleureux), ont discute de tout et de rien tout en allant à des scènes et parfois ont se séparaient pour se retrouvé à plusieurs repris. Au cours de la soirée, il y avait des choses que j'appréciais comme par exemple le fait qui passait sa main sur mes hanches ou me serrais très fort contre son torse ou d'autres fois me tenais la main pendant de longue minute. La soirée se passe bien, mais j'admets que j'étais un peu inquiète par rapport au horaire de bus, car ça se termine à 2h du matin.
Petit à petit vers la fin de soirée il insiste de plus en plus pour que je dors chez lui (honnêtement, j'étais pas très chaude de me dire concrètement, je vais dormir chez un inconnu que j'ai fait connaissance + on va pas ce mentir, penser aux histoires chelou qui se passe très tard la nuit en particulier quand on est une femme seule). Ont marchent vers l'arrêt de bus le plus proche, heureusement tout ce passe bien, ont discutent avec d'autres personnes qui étaient eux aussi au festival. Le trajet ce passe bien, les débats sont rigolo et animée à 2h du matin surtout quand ça parlent de politique (lol). Puis ont loupe le dernier métro et on rentre en Uber. Une fois que tout le monde rentrent.
C'est là... Que ça commence à chauffer
Ont montent dans son appart, j'enlève mes chaussures à l'entrée et m'assoie timidement sur le canapé. Il dépose ses affaires, me propose de boire. Ont discute ont fait plus amples connaissance et je m'aperçois sans surprise qu'il est + tactile qu'au festival, mes gestes reste timide (parce que j'admets, je commençais à porter de l'intérêt pour lui malgré un mauvais début et je me suis dit que peut-être j'étais trop sévère, je mourrais d'envie de le connaitre plus amplement et m'intéresser sincèrement à lui). Il me fait un baisemain, puis recommence à plusieurs reprise accompagné de compliment et j'en fait de retour, puis m'embrasse. Je signale que j'ai sommeil, il recommence à beaucoup insister cette fois pour que je dors avec lui dans son lit, je refuse. J'explique que je trouve que c'est beaucoup trop intime (pas envie de me faire manger) et rebondi par le fait que le baiser échanger ça peut être considéré comme intime. Il insiste encore + en me prenant fort dans ses bras (l'air de rien à cet instant, je le trouvais imposant au-delà de la force) ont c'est regarder droit dans les yeux sans parler, je refuse une nouvel fois, avant de dormir il essaie de m'embrasser une nouvelle fois et je tourne la tête, ses lèvre touche mon coup. Il me dit qu'il aurais fait bien plus un câlin dans son lit, enfin j'ai pu dormir sur son canapé et lui dans son lit.
Le lendemain changement d'ambiance
Je me lève au alentours de 10h30, je repense aux festival et à la soirée me posant plein de questions en tête "Pourquoi ?" pourquoi il a fait ça, pourquoi il a fait ci, est-ce que il y a une signification à son geste ou est-ce que c'est un homme qui porte de l'intérêt pour moi ou un homme à femme tout simplement. (Moi les signaux masculin, je les captes pas ou je suis à côté de la plaque, bon bah voilà c'est dit).
Je regarde par la fenêtre depuis le canapé soudain, je le vois il me fixe. Il vient s'assoir près de moi, ont parle de la température hier car il fessait légèrement froid, j'ai avouer que j'étais tenter de le rejoindre dans son lit. Il me regarde d'un air étonné et me répond de manière ferme "Pourquoi tu m'as pas rejoins ?". J'ai répondu que j’osais pas (je me vois très mal me faufiler dans son lit pendant qu'il dort). Ont re discutent à nouveau et je vois qu'il est moins attentif, je décide partir plus tôt (car durant la soirée il m'as avouer qu'il est pas du matin). Je pars avec plein de questions en tête et un peu de tristesse par l'intérêt éphémère qu'il m'a porter. j'envoie un SMS pour le remercier de l'hospitalité et du moment passer au festival avec son amis.
Quelque jours plus tard...
Sur l'application Frimake il m'envoie des invitations dans les bars. Je réponds pas car ça tombe au mauvais moment, sauf un soir au Bar "Le Dude" le 22 avril au soir. Ont échange par SMS et je lui dit que je suis dégouter car je voulais venir avec un copain (qui n'a pas pu venir). J'ai été étonné de ça réaction, quand il m'a demander si j'avais un copain (mais je pense qu'il a compris que j'étais en couple en faite non). C'étais étrange.
Une fois à la soirée, Il y avais l’ami de Gaston qui me salut de manière chaleureusement et avec beaucoup en train. J'étais contente, je cherche Gaston du regard et je le vois. Je fut refroidi légèrement. Je m'attendais qu'il m’ accueil, il me salut en souriant légèrement sans bouger de sa place, je remarque qu'il est entourer de personne dont une majorité de femme mûre. Je souris de manière timide et gêner. Je ne sais pas si c'est l'ambiance Paris en majorité. J'ai ressenti une froideur, aucun salut, aucun regard, il y avait des groupes dispatcher de gauche à droite. Malgré cela j’essaie d'aller au-delà de ma timidité. J'aborde un jeune homme assis à côté de moi, lui demandant si je peux me joindre à eux malheureusement, il me répond négativement.
j'essaie de voir un autre groupe mais en vain, je suis rester quelque minute pour partir aussi tôt.
Les jours suivant je reçois d'autre invitation et j'ai intégré le groupe Whatsapp auquel il avait environ 75 membres avant et actuellement il sont plus de 100. Sur les 75 il y a environs 7 qui sont actif et comme par hasard une majorité de femmes mûres (+ 38 ans). Je poste des choses encore en vain. Honnêtement, je réfléchisais de plus en plus. Je me disais ça sert à quoi de fournir des efforts et du temps à gens qui s'en fout enfaite, même quand j’essaie de parlé des sujet que eux aborde personne me répond. Comme si j'étais invisible et c'est encore plus blessant quand en + il y a un homme auquel je commençais à porter de l'intérêt qui au final, il s'en fout lui aussi.
Du jours au lendemain j'ai quitté le groupe Whatsapp et j'ai retirer de ma liste. De toute façon, il ne porte aucun intérêt pour moi et même le fait de l'avoir ghoster ça n'a rien changer. Car je me dit, que c'est immature de faire un scandale sur le groupe Whatsapp ou de l'insulté lui ou ses potes, le mieux c'est de partir sans faire de bruit. Tan pis je peux m'en vouloir qu'à moi-même. Sur le coup ça fait mal, mais ça va mieux.
J'aimerais avoir bien avoir vos avis, sur ce que j'ai vécu car je suis curieuse. Est-ce que j'ai bien agit ou est-ce que il y a des choses que j'ai sur interpréter ou pas du tout.

They say that once you quit drinking your body craves sugar, I know this is very true. Before I went to rehab I really did not like sweets very much, except ice cream I always loved ice cream. Recovering addicts rely on sugar like Milli Vanilli relies on vocal tracks. Every “meal” provided the minimal amount of nutrients a person needs to stay alive. Up to this point in my life I was naively unaware of the many food types that come in powder form. There was a week that we had salt, it was amazing! For every meal there was a buffet of day old pastries laid out on each table. If you saw something you liked while waiting in line you had better grab it. Rehab cafeterias have some of the same rules as high school- it definitely matters where you sit, and a fight erupting over a cupcake was not unheard of. These self anointed kings of the streets, tough guys turn into little bitches, over the last Unicorn sprinkle cupcake at snack time. The only thing different between a group of 70 grown men and a group of 70 teenage girls, is the amount of body hair, and the maturity levels are identical.
For the better part of a year and half just being awake was enough of a reason to be drinking. There was always a nagging feeling in the back of my mind that I wouldn't have enough booze, so I carried my own everywhere I went. The thought process that decided the size of bottle I would bring depended on whether this would be my only source of booze or it was a companion bottle to accompany the cocktails I was having publicly. I would hate for people to think I was drunk and order a Vodka martini with a Jack Daniel’s chaser, I am a lady so I did my shot in the powder room. Grocery shopping was a half Pint, even though I was also buying two 1.75mL bottles for the next couple days but I couldn't wait till I got home. Work was usually a pint and half, a pint from the strip club liquor store and a couple of shots at the bar across the street when that was gone. The word addiction never crossed my mind; I was a fabulously highly functional alcoholic.
When I admitted to myself and a room full of strangers the extent and severity of my addiction, I could finally see myself, in the faces of my peers in that room and what I saw was terrifying. For the first time in my life I did not like myself, definitely did not love myself. Up to this point in my life I had an unwavering belief that I was amazing at everything I did. I knew that I succeeded because I was so confident and I was so confident because I succeeded. I felt like I had just been punched in the gut, and I lost my entire self worth in that one minute. Alcohol had taken away from me the very essence of who I am. Those early days were hard. I had to rediscover myself, I am still discovering myself. I did find my confidence again.
Geno I got sober together and it has been so great, there was a part of both of us that had been lying dormant for a little while and when it came out it came out in force. In the first month of sobriety we got to see our new niece Raelynn for the first time, around four months we had started a cookie business, restructured our lives, and by month six we had started making our 2 year plan to grow our cookie business into a national brand, and I started writing a book, yes this one.
Geno has always been the baker in the family. I started dabbling in baking right after I got out of rehab, I could not believe how much extra time I had now that I was not drinking. Geno had made an Oreo Cheesecake and it looked like so much fun. A few days passed and I wanted to make a cheesecake, so I started with a simple cheesecake, a few days later there was an apple crisp, then a couple dozen mini cheesecakes, 1-2-3-4 cake with buttercream frosting, not as easy as the name may suggest, then a couple dozen chocolate chip cookies, most of these recipes were straight forward and required no creativity and I was starting to get bored… Ooh something shiny… then Mini Lava Brownies with Chocolate Ganache Drizzle happened. *mic drop* You are welcome!

Sunset Sandwiches:

The year prior to checking myself into rehab was one self- created dumpster fire after another. One does not usually end up in rehab after a wonderfully stable year. I spent most the year running away from the people who loved me most, especially my husband, Geno. Geno and I have been through some tough times in our relationship but this year was especially awful. I believe Queen Elizebeth II called it an “Annus Horribilis”, very fitting since this was the year Windsor caught fire and I spent the entire year trying to burn my life to the ground. I was in such a dark place and didn't even realize it, it was very scary and lonely inside myself and my outward side was the complete opposite. This duality in my life caused me to create a villain and sadly that villain was Geno. At one point in May I attempted suicide and almost succeded, Geno found me on the couch and called an ambulance, I woke up 2 day later in a mental hospital on suicide watch. The scariest part about that was I had no recollection of wanting to hurt myself or even thinking it through, all I remember is seeing darkness. I came home after seven days and I really thought I would slow down on the drinking and maybe I did for a little while but not long enough to remember. I remember thinking that I was loved becaused all my friends and family were so devastated at the thought of losing me, that feeling was lost again to the booze soon after.
That summer was a rollercoaster of huge fights, extended time away from each other, terrible things were said, and in October it all reached a climax and I threatened to leave Geno and went to stay with my cousin Mandi in Wisconsin with the rest of my family. My aunt Kristy and Grandma were exactly what I knew deep down they would be, honest as fuck! My grandma told me that I was “difficult, had lived a very charmed life and I should suck it up, go home and be happy with my husband”. My Aunt Kristy was brutally honest. She sat me down and asked me “What was going on?” when I started to tell her in my sugar coated everything will be fine, she called bullshit on me. She called out my drinking and told me I didnt even “resemble her nephew.” She also told me it was time to get my shit together. Kristy fought a long hard battle with addiction and has been happily sober for many years now. She said “Honey, I missed a lot of years of my life due to addiction.” She has now forced me to feel real emotions and I am open-mouth sobbing, she goes on, “You are going to lose them too or worse you will lose everything.”
It was the first time I was forced to see myself and the disaster I had become. A week later I flew home and checked myself into rehab. It was difficult to remember how to be happy with Geno, I had to retrain myself to love him the way he deserved to be loved and to see how much he loves me. In those first weeks we spent all day everyday together, it was amazing, for the first time in a long time we were not yelling and screaming at each other. One beautiful day we decided to go to the beach for a sunset picnic, it was the first time we had gone to see the sunset since we had quit drinking. The sunset was the most beautiful orange and glorious sunset, I was finally seeing my Geno, and he was all the light I needed. That sunset I fell madly in love with my husband again, oh and we had some sandwiches!

So, I had quite a few messages from people asking when I was going to update this to include chapter 4 and finally it was released on download in the UK (29th) so I could finally watch it and get around to it because I haven’t seen it until now. I’ve kept the original timeline here because I’m quite happy with it and I’m just adding on Chapter 4. I will add someone messaged me that during chapter 3 when the assassins are getting the kill order to kill John there’s a brief shot of an assassin’s phone saying the date was December. I’m happy to go with this because I think the first 3 films are set around October-November time but we see no x-mas stuff anywhere in chapter 1 to 3 so its debateable if you want to call this an x-mas film like Die Hard. Also, I watched an interview with the director this morning and he states that he thinks the first 3 films are about a week and a half but wasn’t certain which I feel gives my timeline some authenticity and accuracy.

P.s Ive had to break this down into two parts because the character limit is 40,000 characters and ive gone well over that
Warning Major Major spoilers for these films are here because I detail out the plot as I go.
A couple of assumptions are made. Fights scenes are probably longer than we seen on screen and often because of the pacing of the film we don’t need to see John get from point A to B. Conversations also probably took longer than we see if they are walking from area to area and discussing things. Location distances also take time to get to and from places and I don’t know where locations in New York and around the world are so I’ve made a lot up at a best sort of guess. Sometimes I’ve used what I think when there’s no real reference in the film to how long something took for instance for the time of day, I’ve looked at the skyline in the background and estimated what time of day it is judging by how much sunlight there is. Basically, I’ve guestimated a lot. Chapter 4 was a lot harder as they kept moving countries and places and its probably longer than I’ve made it. Also, some of the fight scenes are longer than the time they actually show in the film (6 minute fight is 13minutes in the film) so take everything with a pinch of salt.
TLDR: The films start in the mid-late autumn judging by the scenes that we see.
John Wick 1 starts on Monday Day 1 at 6am and ends Saturday Day 6 at 3.45am (6 Days).
John Wick Chapter 2 starts on Monday Day 8 at 10pm and ends Friday Day 13 at 5pm (5 Days).
John Wick Chapter 3 starts on Friday Day 13 at 5pm and ends Sunday Day 22 at 7.05am (9 Days).
John Wick Chapter 4 starts on Monday Day 205 at 7.20 pm (6 months later) and ends unofficially on Thursday Day 221 at 6.11am (when John passes out (16 days)) and officially at Thursday Day 228 12.00pm (23 Days).
John does have periods of down time and rest so it’s safe to assume he goes to the toilet in that time and maybe brushes his teeth once in a while
The first Film starts on a Monday. Not because there’s any reference to days of the week in the films (there wasn’t that I could find) but because, in my opinion, nothing good ever happens on a Monday.
John Wick Chapter 1
Monday Day 1 6am.
· John in his bathroom and has a flash back of his wife’s illness and death (assumption is made that this has happened over the past 6 months or so).
· Funeral of his wife. Marcus arrives “Just checking up on an old friend”.
· Wake at Johns house.
· People leave say 8-9pm ish
· Daisy the Dog is delivered and John reads Helens letter.
· John and Daisy got to bed at 10.54pm (clock on the bed).
Tuesday Day 2 6am.
· John wakes at 6am.
· Get the paper and the dog goes to the toilet, coffee and breakfast.
· Gets in car
· Getting petrol (assumption its about an hour after they’ve left prob around 8am) and meets the Russians arrive. Losef meets John “I love dogs”, “Beautiful car how much?”, “Not for sale.” “Not this bitch”. Victor arrives “You have a good day sir”.
· John leaves for the airfield- Crazy driving trying to/not to kill himself.
· Next scene is evening (don’t have time base upon previous night) in bed so assumption was that he went to be around 11pm.
Wednesday Day 3 Early am.
· Dog wakes John early am.
· John goes downstairs – Russians attack john, smash his stuff and kill the dog “Sleep tight bitch”.
· John wakes probably an hour or so later and cradles the dog.
· John buries the dog early am (judging by the skyline)
· 6.19am the alarm gets turned off.
· Angry cleaning with flash backs.
· Russians take Johns car to Aureilo’s garage (assumption is made that its around 8am and that it takes at least an hou maybe 2 to get there. Seeing as they stole it before 5am I assume that they took it for a joy ride and did doughnuts for a while first). “I want new vin numbers and new papers”- “Where did you get that car?” (John most likely still cleaning at this time) “Get it out of my shop” “We own you” Aureilo slaps Losef “Viggo not going to like this”.
· 5pm deduced from John leaving in car in next scene it’s probably taken all day to clean up and then he had to get the bus. John arrives at Aureilos garage after taking the bus “Is it here?”, “It was.”, “Losef Tarasov nicked it.”, “Viggo’s son?”, “I need a ride.”.
· John leaves in borrowed car around 6pm.
· Evening, not long after, Aureilo gets a call from Viggo (skyline time of day deduction) “I heard you struck my son. May I ask why?”
· Viggo to Avi “Have you seen my son?”.
· About 7.30pm Losef arrives (most likely he spent all day stashing the car with his uncle from John Wick 2 and hanging out).
· Viggo beats Losef. “What did I do” “That fucking nobody was John Wick” Explanation of the Bogey man and killing 3 men with a pencil.
· At the same time John is at home and goes into the basement with a sledgehammer smashes the floor and gets his equipment.
· 30 mins later Viggo gets his phone book and calls John. John hangs up.
· Viggo tasks a crew.
· John has a shower and suits up.
· Viggo sits by the fire.
· Juging by the light its 10pm ish when the kill crew arrives. (This doesn’t quite work because the house exterior shot is quite bright but when the crew arrives its dark night).
· The crew attack John and John kills the crew (due to films cuts to keep the action it probably takes about 20 minutes. Time enough for a noise complaint to be made).
· Jimmy the police officer arrives at 10.30 “Evening John”, “Noise complaint”, “You working again John?”.
· John goes downstairs and makes a dinner reservation for 12 (the amount of people he’s killed not the time).
· Assumption is made that it’s 1 hour for Charlie and the clean up crew to arrive at about 11.30.
· Assumption it takes 2 hours to clean the house of blood and bodies.
Thursday Day 4 1.30am
· Clean up crew leave about 1.30am.
· Viggo is still in front of the fire and is informed of the failure of the kill crew. The contract is put on Johns head for $2Million (the light in the room shot is bright he’s prob been there all night debating if he should put out the contract)
· Assumption is 6am John loads bags into car and drives to the Continental.
· Judging by the light its around 8am Viggo arrives at Marcus’s house whilst he’s cutting veg and juicing. “Would you kill John Wick for $2 million?”.
· Marcus cleans and polishes his guns after Viggo leaves.
· John arrives at the Continental at 8.30am (assumption).
· Perkins greets John. Concierge (Charon) “I have you for 2 nights sir”.
· Cuts to evening say 8pm assumption is John had some sleep.
· John looks at video of his wife and then goes downstairs to the bar and sees Winston “Johnathan as I recall wern’t you the one tasked to doll out the beating?”.
· (At the same time) Viggo learns that John is at the Continental “We have a contact there who is willing to take him out for us”.
· John is still talking to Winston. “Have a drink and relax…for now.”.
· John goes to the bar “It’s been 5 with change”. (Length of time John’s been a free man and Viggo has been in serious business learned).
· John gets Losef’s location with his drink “Compliments of the house”.
· John leaves the bar at 8.15 (assumption all this took 15 mins)
· John goes upstairs and suits up and we learn Losef is being guarded in a nightclub.
· John arrives at the nightclub. I’m assuming that it took an hour to suit up and 45 minutes to get to the club therefore its around 10pm-10.15 pm.
· John gets the drop on Francis the big bouncer that’s lost weight and gets inside.
· John kills Victor and lots of people in the spar area.
· John makes his way upstairs and enters the pool area where Losef is. This is most likely on the top floor. The way the films cuts means it probably took 30-45 mins to get up there and find him its about 11pm.
· John kills lots of people.
· Losef runs onto the dancefloor.
· John kills lots of people on the dancefloor, atrium and balcony.
· Losef escapes in a car driven by Gregori.
· John leaves with a phone call to Losef. (the fights probably took 30 mins so its around 11.30pm.
Friday Day 5 12.15am.
· John arrives back at the Continental 45 minutes later at 12.15am. “Is the doctor in?”.
· Assumption is the Doctor took 20 minutes to arrives and 30 minutes patching up John the time is probably around 1.05am
· Marcus arrives on the roof opposite and gets John in his sights.
· John tries to sleep.
· Perkins enters the room.
· Marcus shoots the pillow warning John.
· Perkins and John fight “Viggos giving me $4 million to break hotel rules”. The phone rings as the concierge rings.
· John beats Perkins and answers the phone (noise complaint).
· Marcus leaves.
· Perkins tries to crawl away. Pekins tells John about the Little Russia Church front.
· Harry holds up John “Catch and release”.
· Cut to Morning of Day 5. Bright light indicates its around 9am. John is at the Church who takes the pills for fully mobility, then kills lots of people and destroys the vault stash using the priest (probably takes about 30minutes).
· John leaves and then goes to a roof top to wait.
· No indication of how long until Viggo arrives I assume its an hour so the time is 10.30.
· Viggo arrives and kill the priest. Perkins escapes and kills Harry at around the same time).
· John attacks Viggo as he leaves the church.
· John Wick kills a lot of people
· John gets hit by a car, knocked out and captured by Viggo and wakes up tied to a chair in the church. The fight was about 10 minutes he’s been unconscious about 20 minutes so the time is 11pm “Yeah I’m thinking I’m back”.
· Marcus has already arrived (no idea when) and shoots the thugs chocking John. John escapes, kills other thug, frees his hands, runs out, chases down Viggos car killing thug driving it.
· Viggo gives up his son and pull the contract on John. (whole thing probably took 5 minutes).
· Cut to Losef in a Brooklyn safehouse. Not knowing where John actually is let’s say it took him an hour to go straight there so the time when John arrives is 12.05.
· Judging by the fact that explosives are set and it takes time to get into position its probably 12.45
· John kills guard and snipes Gregori playing COD at 12.45pm
· John snipers lots of people.
· John kills guard watching Losef.
· John kill Losef at 1.00pm
· Viggo finds out Losef is dead probably 30 mins later at around 1.30pm “Make the arrangements”.
· Cut to John checking out of the Continental (It’s only been 1 night). Prob took him an hour to be there and an hour to clean up and pack however when he leaves its getting dark so he probably fixed himself up and rested for a while and so the time is around 5pm.
· John gets a new car and meets Marcus around 5.30-6pm “How many times do I have to save your ass?”.
· Perkins watches them and turns Marcus in (assumed but likely).
· Cut to night so 8pm ish. Marcus walks home and Viggo and his thugs surround him.
· John driving home gets aphonecall on his mobile from Viggo. Shows scene of Viggo having bruised knuckles from beating Marcus so assume 1 hour has passed (9pm).
· Marcus tries to escape. Perkins wounds him and Viggo kills him so Marcus dies around 9.15pm “Well played old friend”.
· John turns the car around and Viggo leaves “Fuel the chopper”.
· 45 mnutes-1 hour later John arrives at Marcus’s house (10.15pm).
· Concierge calls Perkins who watches John arrives.
· John finds Marcus.
· John leaves (not shown and Perkins leaves)
· Perkins arrives (no time reference so assume 30 mins) to meet the concierge and has her membership to the Continental revoked at 10.45pm. Clean up crew arrives.
· Couple of minutes must have passed. Ohn is called by Winston to tell him where Viggo is.
· John drives like a nutcase and crashes into Viggo at docks probably 45 minutes away so it’s 11.30.
· John kills many people with his car and guns.
· Viggo tres to kill John with his car and the stands waiting for him. “No more guns John. No more Bullets”.
· John kills Viggo 5 minutes later. The whole fight from his car arriving to Viggo dying was about 30 minutes so the time is 00.05am on Day 6.
Saturday Day 6 00.05am
· John kills Viggo at 00.05am “Be seeing you John.”.
· John gets up and leaves taking Viggos cars.
· Opening scene of John crashing into the vets. John is unconscious. He could have been out for a while so im assuming 3 hours because it’s still night.
· John breaks into vets and treats himself (probably 30 minutes).
· John rescues his dog (another 10 minutes).
· John leaves and walks home with his new dog at 3.45am on Saturday Day 6 since his wife’s funeral.
John Wick Chapter 2
John Wick Chapter 2 starts with him chasing down a motor cyclist whilst he looking for his car. We know that this film is a direct continuation of the first film so we can assume that a little time has passed for him to heal, bond with the dog and make investigations into where his car is (this is probably because he’s not the type to stop for anything judging by the first film). Assuming that he took a day to rest and make investigations its probably been 2 days since the end of John Wick so we start on Monday Day 8 since his wife’s funeral at 10 pm because its night in the opening scene and it all fits nicely with the idea that the first film is a week long.
Monday Day 8 10pm
· John chases down biker in Aureilo’s borrowed car. (We never actually see what became of it in the first film because he gets a new car due to “Last nights unpleasantness” with Perkins in the first film as he checks out. Probably takes about 30 minutes.
· John hits the biker, takes the gold card and heads to Abrams Warehouse. He arrives say 30 minutes later.
· “My fucking nephew killed a dog and stole a car”. John arrives, kills thugs and looks for his car (30 mins).
· John calls Abram “You have my car”.
· John finds the car and takes it back.
· John uses his car to try and escape and kill people.
· John kills lots of people (approx. 30 minutes has passed).
· John makes peace with abram at 00.00am.
· John leaves and takes his car.
Tuesday Day 9 7.30am
· Johns car is wrecked and he gets home in the morning. Judging by the light I’d say early morning. We know he lives about 2 hours from the city so assuming it took 7 hours and 30 mins (shown in a later scene) to get home because his car was barely crawling up the driveway (being a man of focus he was getting that car back).
· John goes and cleans up. The clock on his table says 7.30am. Showers and sleeps.
· Next scene is Aureilo arriving to pick up Johns car. I’m assuming its mid to late afternoon around 4.30pm. John is playing with his dog and we have a continuity error here because in John Wick 1 the dog was a puppy and here it is clearly an older dog but ‘Im choosing to ignore this because movie land reasons.
· Cut to next scene. John cleans up his suit and sorts out the basement from the first film. He makes cement and it probably takes him 3 hours so time is 8pm.
· Santino arrives at 8pm (its night out). Coffee and conversation about markers (probably 20 minutes).
· Santino leaves and blows up Johns house.
· John sees his house burn at 8.30.
· Cut to fire engine still fighting the fire so say the response time ect is about 30 mins later. Jimmy the cop is here “Gas leak?”.
· John leaves with the dog and walks off.
Wednesday Day 10 9am.
· John arrives at the continental early morning (looks around 9am so he walked for 12 hours as busses probably aren’t running and he’s a man of focus). “How good to see you again so soon Mr Wick”.
· John meets with Winston and converse about Santino D’antonio and the marker.
· 10 minutes later John boards the dog with Charon the concierge. John leaves for the national gallery.
· Probably 30 minutes to the gallery he gets frisked and meets Santino.
· They talk about the job for 10 minutes “My hands”.
· John leaves and travels to his deposit box “59.035” say another 30 minutes to get there.
· He suits up (another 30 minutes) “happy hunting Mr Wick”.
· Next scene hes in Rome so assuming an hour to the airport. Google tells me New York to Rome direct is an 8 hours and 15 minutes flight and an hour to the continental of Rome meaning total travel time is 10 hours and 15minutes because he had no delays or hold ups and everything happened perfectly because its movieland and therefore assuming every part of his trip was flawless. Rome is 6 hours behind New York (thanks to google again) so John arrives at his destination at 2.25 pm Rome time which fits with the film.
Wednesday Day 10 8.25pm USA, 2.25pm Rome.
· John is observed by Ayres the mute woman arriving at the Continental. “Welcome to the Continental of Rome”.
· He meets the manager “are you here for the pope?”.
· Next scene John is getting supplies and equipment. He must have checked in so I assume its an hour later.
· Suit, Guns and catacomb plans must have taken some time, Rush suit could have taken an hour to measure and 4 hours to make, Guns must have taken an hour along with the catacombs “Mr Wick do enjoy your party”.
· Ayres watches John leave 3 hours later.
· John suits up that night say 8pm Rome time (Which is Thursday Day 11 2am USA time)
· John enters the catacombs and takes about an hour and 30 mins to reach his target whilst leaving his weapons around.
· Gianna enjoys her party and meets Mr Riconi and then leaves to freshen her makeup.
· 10.30 Rome John meets Gianna in the bathroom. They talk for 10 minutes and she slits her wrists. John shoots her and leaves.
· John bumps into Cassian “You working?” they shoot each other and John runs.
· John kills a lot of people escaping.
· Cassian find Gianna.
· John gets to catacombs and meets Ayres “Loose ends?”.
· John kills a lot of people It takes about 30 minutes for John to escape the catacombs from killing Gianna.
· Cassian tries to run John over. They fight and crash through the window of the Continental. They wernt far from it so its assumed Joh had been walking for 20 minutes and they were fighting for 10 mins. Hey crash through about 11.40pm Rome which again fits with the film.
· In the bar they talk for about 5 minutes. Cassian leaves and Ayres is there as John goes to bed “Not if I see you first”.
· Its about 00.00am when Santino phones. John hangs up on him. Santino calls the exchange and puts a bounty on John. John phones the desk and says he’ll check out in the morning. So all this makes the time Thursday Day 11 0.005 am Rome and Thursday Day 11 6 am USA. The text messages go out at this time because they would have done it then and there was no delay despite this being shown in a later scene.
· Next scene is early AM assumed around 6am because that’s when John usually gets up so its Thursday Day 11 6am Rome and 12pm USA. John sorts his stuff and is escorted out by the manager “May you have a safe journey Mr Wick”.
· It takes 10 hours and 15 minutes to get back to New York making it 10.15pm. Cassian is seen in New York so it’s assumed he got the contract text and headed to the airport straightaway to beat John back knowing he wouldn’t be able to get him in Rome.
Thursday Day 11 10.15pm.
· Santino completes the marker book “you stabbed the devil in the back”.
· John walks through Chinatown and the train station, kills lots of people (some with a pencil) and finally faces Cassian on the tube where he stabs him in the Aorta as a professional courtesy. Judging by how beat up he is and how many people he faced it probably took him 2 and a half hours.
Friday Day 12 00.45am
· John escapes 2 assassins at the train station and gets taken by the homeless man to the Bowery King.
· Its early am say around 7 am when John wakes up. Hes had medicine and has been patched up so therefore its Friday Day 12 7am. John and the king talk for an Hourish “$7 million Dollars gets you 7 rounds”.
· John leaves for Santinos coronation.
· John arrives at the NYM meausum Mirror art exhibit . No way to judge it so im guessing it took 3 hours having traveled by tunnels and sewer making it about 11am.
· Santino sees john.
· John kills lots of people probably takes about an hour.
· Santino escapes and runs to the continental John kill Ayres at 12.00pm
· John follows Santino to the Continental which probably took an hour to get to as Santino was eating and waiting for John.
· John arrives at the hotel and kills Santino at 1pm whilst eating lunch “What have you done?”.
· John leaves, collects his dog and goes home.
· The next scene is a bit difficult to place John sits in his ruined house looking at his wifes necklace and its raining. He could have walked for 12 hours but its more likely (as he’s in the next part of the scene) that the concierge took him and waited for a call. This doesn’t quite fit as the conversation about the dog staying with him implys that he had just arrived but im assuming that john was mute the whole way there in the car. “Would you be so enclined”.
· They travel back 2 hours (2 hours there 2 hours back) which makes it exactly 5pm when they reach Winston.
· Theres a continuity error here as John Wick 3 starts at 5pm but Winstons watch clearly shows 4pm in this scene I imagine his battery has died an hour before is all I can think of.
· Wick and Winston talk and John gets a marker and the starts running “I’ll kill them all”.
· Here ends John Wick Chapter 2 Friday Day 13 at 5pm.

I think most of us would agree that we need a shakeup and I think the best move is to trade Marcus and usher Derrick White into an even larger role. We often struggle with BBIQ in big moments and integrating him as our starting point guard will greatly help with preparing us for post season success. With increased shots, I could easily see him accompanying the Jays as our third 20+ PPG scorer. He’s also shown himself to be the better defender over the past season despite the fact that Marcus won DPOY a season ago.
That being said, what type of player should we target with a Marcus Smart trade? Do we go for wing depth or stand pact with Gallinari coming back next season? Do we look to sure up an injury prone/aging big rotation? Do we look to add another guard that can run the point, or a 3 and D guy like Miami had in plenty? Do we use the salary cap space to fill out our role players including resigning Grant? He didn’t get much play this playoffs but is quintessential to our defense against guys like Giannis who will be on our route to the finals every year barring a fluke like this year.

So I had a trip planned to Miami to celebrate one of my college friend's bachelor party that my boyfriend knew about this past weekend. He asked when was I leaving and I told him last Wednesday. He ended up booking a trip to "California" on the same day and we were to get back on the same day, which was this past Sunday. He has a residence in California and Texas, so he has clothes, shoes, everything he needs already there. So red flag #1 for me was when I saw him pack a huge suitcase. I looked and wondered why would he do that, but didn't think anything of it. He was also talking to himself as he was packing saying that he was going to take some shorts to Cali (probably doing this to cover himself on why he's packing heavy; he NEVER packs heavy for trips to Cali). He landed about 10 hours before I did. I video called him once he landed and I could see he was at the airport. So I ask him was he going to have a friend pick him up or a Lyft. He said he was going to have his homeboy pick him up. I was like alright. After I landed in Miami that night, I let him know I made it. I tried to video call him on Google Meet (I'm an iPhone user and he's an Android user) he did not answer and it was about 12...1am in the morning, meaning it would've been 9...10pm Cali time. I receive a notification about 30 mins after I called him from Google Meet stating if I wanted to call him back again. Now in the past, he has told me that when you receive that notification, that means that you looked at the missed call. So at this point, I'm like he saw me call. Moving along, he calls me back around 3...4am, which is about 3 hours behind for Cali. He says I'm lucky he had to get up to pee while he was sleep (he did not video call me back, he called regular) and we talked for a few. I knew something was off that first night. So over the next few days, things didn't seem or feel right. I would call. He wouldn't answer, he'd call me back a few hours later or act like he never got my call. He would text, instead of calling me back. Every time he would video call, it was either in a bathroom, which didn't look like his bathroom in Cali or outside. Which outside didn't even seem right because he has a townhome. If he was sitting in the front of the townhome like he said he was, I would've been able to see it from the back, but I could see nothing. It was pitch black...and it was 9pm EST my time and 6PM his time, meaning it was still sunny in Cali! And earlier this day, he sent me screenshots of his phone screen trying to show me that he was having issues calling me. I looked at his time and it was only an hour behind me, meaning he had to have been somewhere in CST. I asked him about it and he had nerve to say that his phone was acting up and it didn't update when he landed in Cali. (LIE) I mentioned about it being pitch black at 6pm in Cali and he had nerve to say that it gets dark around that time. I knew that was a lie because I've been to Cali several times and it was always still light out and I also texted my friend that lives in Cali and he also confirmed it was still sunny. So I mentioned all of this to him and he had nerve to try and get mad at me for accusing him of lying, knowing darn well he was lying. He lied about him riding his bike (he has a motorcycle, car, and truck out in Cali) to some lounge he went to in Hollywood. He stayed out late, called me the next morning and was like let me get a little bit more sleep and I'll call you back when I wake up. He called back an hour later and said he was at a restaurant in Hollywood. He gave me the name of it, I googled it. Now he lives in Anaheim...that's an hour drive. So you mean to tell me he went back to sleep and was able to get up, get ready to drive back out to Hollywood to go to a restaurant? I knew that was a lie. He called me while he was at the restaurant and was sounding so happy and cheery. He said he'd call me back. I knew something was up so I called him back like 10 minutes later just to see if he would answer because why wouldn't you if you're at a restaurant by yourself. Do ya'll know he didn't answer the first time, so I called back a second time he answered and his tone was so different and he was talking so slow and short. That let me know that he was with someone because why were you so happy a second ago before you got to your table? Some other stuff happened, but fast forward to Sunday. I asked him what airport he was flying out of and he said LAX and he was flying with Frontier (LAX doesn't even have Frontier). He also gave me the time he was leaving which was 3:42pm. Now we both were supposed to land at 6...7pm in Texas. If he's leaving LA at 3:42pm, that's a 3 hour flight, then you have to add 2 more hours because of the time change. I looked up all flights that would be landing in Texas and none from Cali, but San Diego was on there. And one from Cancun. I found all of his flight information. So we both land in Texas. He ended up still being on the plane and he had nerve to say that he had to go through customs. I asked why, he said he didn't know, they're doing some weird inspection. I could not believe my eyes at all of the lies I was reading. So I confront him about it once he comes out of the International Arrival section at the airport and he has nothing to say. He proceeds to give me some bs story about how no one was supposed to know he was there and he was there on business for his family...blah blah. We don't follow each other on social media, but I could see that he posted all weekend long on Snapchat. So if people weren't supposed to know you were there, why are there posts at all? He sent me 2 videos of him at a lounge and I was able to figure out in 5 minutes what bar it was! I also found his resort receipt and it had that 2 guests were staying there. He also did a boat tour and took a picture. I asked about the 2 guests and he was like it always say 2 guests when you book somewhere, man please. I have always changed mine to 1 when I book online. And most times we were on the phone during the trip, it seemed as if he would always have to go outside or be in the bathroom. I also asked him to see his snaps, but he wouldn't show me anything, which shows that clearly there will be incriminating evidence on there.
TL; DR I've never been lied to like this before. I won't say this is his first time where his story doesn't add up, but he went out of his way to lie to me for almost a week. And then get mad at me for calling him out. I'm extremely hurt and believe its time I move on. I can't trust him at all. If he lied about this, what else has he done and what else will he lie about in the future.

I work at a waterfront pizza/grille spot in Orange County, California. Last night, after 8pm when we were closing up (only myself and two people in the kitchen left), a lovely gentleman comes up to the bar while I'm cleaning.
Him: You have my credit card here. My name is......blah blah.
Me: (checking the designated spot for those) I'm sorry, but I don't have any lost credit cards here.
Him: I just called and "they" said it was here.
Me: (knowing nobody called, it's only me who could answer the phone) Whom did you speak to?
Him: Well not just now. I called 3 weeks ago.
Me: Oook, well we don't keep lost credit cards beyond a week.
Him: That's ridiculous! You knew I wanted it because I called.
Me: And we would then save it, for a week, for you to come pick it up.
Him: I live in Pasadena and had to wait until today when I was going to already be in the area.
Me: Well unfortunately that is well beyond the amount of time we keep lost cards, so if that wasn't communicated to us during the phone call, then we wouldn't have had any way to know you were coming for it.
Him: I already told you I wanted it well over a month ago, and now I drove all the way down from Pasadena for this!
Me: You just told me it was 3 weeks ago you called, and that you were already in the area today.
Him: I want to talk to the owner right now!
Me: He isn't here at this time of night.
Him: Then I want you to call him!
Me: I will not.
Him: Get me your manager!!!
Me: I am my manager.
Him: I'm gonna make sure you don't get away with this horrible customer service, kid! (He might be 50 and I'm 43)
Me: I think I'll be ok.
Him: You shouldn't have this job or any job at all if you refuse to take it seriously! I want you to find my card now!
Me: Sir, you've told me you lost your card however long ago, because your story keeps evolving. You could have cancelled that card and another one would have been mailed and already here by now. I have made it clear that the card was thrown out one week after you left it here. So the only way to "find" it would be to dumpster dive in an unknown landfill at this point, which I'm not in a position to do for you. Apologies.
He heads out the door, turns, comes back in.
Him: Will you validate my parking?
Me: Of course I will. (pops it in the machine, hands it back) The parking kiosks at the exit are not manned after 8pm, just automated. I hope a credit card won't be a problem.

It was a lucky goal, but also unlucky as there's genuinely no reason the volley should hit the bar when I only tapped shoot...
Anyway to me, I've won the match fair and square and move on with my life. Then I receive this sarcastic message telling me how undeserved the win was (I translated the sarcasm) and that the game let me win.
I'm not sure what planet this guy is on but he concedes one unfortunate goal and suddenly the game let me win, despite dominating the game entirely. One of his goals came from my player I explicitly misplacing an easy pass too... Obviously he doesn't notice that!
So my overall point is that so many people bang on about how the game is unfair and scripted but I think a lot of people have their heads so far up their own arse they can't even remotely detect when they have been bested fair and square.
If I bombard your goal for 90 minutes I'm making my own luck, if every attacking chance has a 10% chance of something lucky happening as a result then I'm more likely to get that luck by having more attacking chances.
It's like how Lampard always scored deflected goals, it looks lucky but ultimately hes so effective at shooting players used to panic block his shots resulting in bad block attempts. You have to realise football is also about making your own luck. Conceding one lucky goal in a game you where dominated in is not the game hating you.

Hey just wanted a place to get my thoughts out. Background, my wife and I have been together for 11 years ( 3 dating 8 married) (no kids started dating senior high school married Sophomore year college). After 3 years of marriage her older brothers (2 years older) best friend who is also her “friend” made out with her after drinks at a bar while I was on a work trip.

I had a talk with the “friend” as I was pressured to so he could come to her families Christmas celebration because his family is not close. After I talked to him he messaged my wife saying that “he forgave me then talked about how getting married so young might not have been a good idea”.
Ever since then there has been multiple times where this “friend” will: example 1: send a picture to her of something she made him in freshman year of high school in art class for him. And after saying how he forgot she made this send her a heart emoji. Example 2 start a conversation about a recent vacation me and my wife have gone on and how expensive it was then text her “miss you, hope your doing well”
I have talked to my wife about how this type of messaging this makes me uncomfortable. She states that I should trust her and that there are no feelings above friends with them. It’s almost always the “friend” texting her first.
The most troubling aspect of this is that in her journal she wrote that she feels her life is a hallmark movie where she has to choose between two men, the one she wants and the one that she has.

And even if he doesn't hit the barrels and just Q spams you to death, doesn't feel good when he Q's you twice over the wave and crits both times, now you're down 500 hp instead of 200 hp and the whole lane has changed, all because of chance. So just remove the crit chance from his Q and barrels and make him gain damage with each point of crit chance he gets, that way it's way better balanced and the 3/8 GP with ER doesn't just randomly do half your hp bar.

Hi all.
I was with my ex for 3 and a half years and he broke up with me in October 2022. We lived together for almost a year at that point and he said he didn’t want a relationship, needed to work on himself and needed therapy. He expressed to me that he didn’t want the relationship to end and he hoped we could reconnect, that he wanted a “better us”. I moved out, maintained no contact and started therapy. I truly started to work on myself and cope. Or so I thought.
He first broke no contact in January. And then again in March asking to meet up and that he didn’t “have any intentions”. At the time I said maybe down the road we could meet up but I gave it some thought and decided not to and knew it would be against my best interest. He had done the opposite of everything since the breakup— did not work on himself at all, only focused on going out to bars and drinking every weekend and even said “why would I go to therapy when drinking and watching tv is cheaper”. I said to him over text to leave me alone and not reach out and that I had no desire to talk to someone who doesn’t work on himself. I only still talk to his brother’s girlfriend. We have done pretty well at not discussing him. Until this weekend.
Apparently he has begun to see a new girl in the last month, roughly around the time I told him that I didn’t want to see him. It’s been a tough pill to swallow I won’t lie, I thought I could handle it. It just sucks to know we built that room together and he wanted to see me and after I shut him down he turned to another girl. I don’t know if this is a rebound or what I just need help on how to cope. I feel stupid.

I mentioned to my partner Ryan that I had a strange suspicion that Emma was pregnant. I just had a gut instinct and little things weren’t adding up (not drinking when she would usually, missing out on plans she’d usually attend etc), nothing major, but my gut was telling me she definitely was.
Anyway, while we were at the bowling alley, Emma and I were left alone at some point. I just turned to her and said “I need to ask you something… are you pregnant?” She hesitated for a moment and admitted she was, but her and Dean weren’t planning on telling anyone yet as she was only 4 weeks and she has a family history of miscarriages. I said congratulations and said I wouldn’t tell anyone and that was the end of that. Our friends shortly returned from the bar and the bowling continued.
To my surprise though, while we were out for dinner in the evening, Dean declared they had an announcement to make. He announced Emma’s pregnancy and everyone was so happy and congratulated them etc etc.
The rest of the celebrations went well and I even spoke to her a lot throughout the night and she was completely fine with me…
The next day I messaged Emma several times to see how she was doing, what she was up to and how she was feeling. She ignored me for 10 hours before replying despite texting in the group chat (that I’m also apart of) throughout the day. In the evening I’d sent a text asking if she was annoyed at me for anything as I didn’t know when she was ignoring me. A couple hours later she replied saying she’d been ‘so busy’ (despite regularly messaging the group chat throughout the day and knowing I’d see it?). She kept dodging my question and repeating “we weren’t going to tell everyone yet”. I asked her over and over if she was annoyed at me but again, she kept the same response. I asked her why she didn’t just tell me no and tell us all when they originally planned to. Her response was “because I don’t lie” (despite saying she was too busy to speak to me) and “I could have just not asked” I just said okay congratulations again and it was left like that.
I don’t understand why she acted like this as I didn’t make them tell everyone? I’m sure she’d be able to trust I wouldn’t tell anyone as I had a baby 3 years ago and got everyone to keep it hush hush up until 12 weeks!
Ryan thinks I’m NTA but I’m not sure if he’s just being biased? Just wanted an outsiders perspective.
AITA? Did I ruin the announcement? Did I deserve to be ignored?
EDIT : Emma and Dean agreed together to tell everyone but Dean was the one who announced.
Emma and I are really close and she regularly keeps me updated with her fertility journey, doctors appointments, tests etc.
EDIT 2: what would be the best way for me to approach this with Emma? would it be better to apologise through text or in person? I suffer really badly with anxiety so am just nervous about causing a public scene (if she was really mad at me), but don’t want it to seem like I’m unbothered if I do it through text

TLDR: Teams only business expansion strategy was to field a team that wins internationally to get international fans, but when your teams don't do well internationally that strategy is terrible.
Teams should have instead found ways to expand within NA via hosting events and watch parties in various cities, or making the college scene easier to understand

All of the points that people say "kill the LCS", are actually not reasons that kill the LCS, it's totally possible to have a well working league with said problems present.

1. Every sports league in the US is franchised and has no problems. LPL is franchised and has no problems. LCK is franchised and has no problems
2. Players from other regions coming in (on its own) is not a killer problem. Some massive stars in the NBA are from other countries, and you don't see people saying the NBA is dead. LPL has always had many players from Korea, and its still wildly popular.
3. Shitty international performances (on its own) is not a killer problem. CBLoL was like the worst region for 4 years straight is one of the biggest leagues

The biggest problem I've seen, and one that lies solely with the business owners, is that they have provided no reason to be fans of their team, and by extension provided no reason to watch LCS as a whole.
Suppose I want to get new fans for my team and grow my business, I can either

1. Steal fans from another team
2. Get new fans who don't watch the league to watch it. These people could be
   1. People who watch League but not LCS
   2. New watches of League entirely

The LCS teams business strategy for the past few years has been pretty clear

1. Get a team you think will do very good
2. Do good in LCS to get fans from other teams to bandwagon
3. Do good at worlds to get fans from other regions to watch

But what happens if your team doesn't do good in the LCS? Well then domestic bandwagoners won't watch you. What happens if you don't do well at worlds? Well then teams from other regions won't watch you. Now you have also invested in players that have no purpose than to win, so if you don't win why would anyone care about your team (ie SwordArt). People have no problem with players from other regions if they add something (Bjerg, Huhi, Santorin, etc) but if said player has no draw and loses then people are going to be annoyed you didn't just pick some college kid and give them a chance.
For an international viewer, NA is such a unique timezone that there is no point to watch unless its your home region. I love LPL games but I can't bring myself to get up at that time, why would someone in China watch LCS?
TSM dominated the league for so long that they gained a lot of fans and once they started losing and dumped their fan favorite players people stopped watching them. TSM has one strategy for growing their business and now since that isn't working they're moving out of LCS thinking it'll fix their issues. TSM leaving is a big brand, but they are a shitty run business and IMO its good for the league

How do you make people in NA care about your team?

Clearly NA isn't gaining international viewers anytime soon, so teams need to try finding ways to expand to players within NA, and (in my eyes) people who don't play league. Riot has already done a lot to expand League into the lives of people who don't play (KDA, Arcane, etc) teams need to capitalize on that.
Host events in bars and watch parties so that new people can see them. Literally just give a bar $50 to play the games on 1 TV and ask some college kid to watch there and explain the game to new people. Give teams city or region tags even if they don't play there to get people invested.
I'm hella biased but at least GGS has shown their expansion strategy is building teams off moneyball and trying to draw Warriors fans into League rather than just the dumb "win and get fan" strat.
Player development in the college scene could also be such an easy draw, which would then get people invested in players, but the college scene is so fucking confusing its impossible to keep up. People will literally cheer for their college even if they have no idea whats going on because they have the school pride.

TL;DR - I'm looking for advice about using both the first floor space and the courtyard space for the full event, and also wondering if it's too much to have guests move their ceremony chairs into the reception so that the courtyard could then be used for cocktail hour. And if I shouldn't ask guests to move chairs, should I hire someone to do it and plan to use the courtyard for anything? Or should I maybe downgrade my rental space of the courtyard down to just an hour, even though they are giving it to use for free during the ceremony and we are currently contracted to pay for it for the 4 hour event time. Or...idk!! I feel stuck on what to do.
My partner and I are getting married in October at a museum! We are paying for gallery access for our guests, and are allowed to have people go basically anywhere around the museum, we just have to pay for renting spaces where we plan to set things up. So our rental contract is for the first floor and adjoining courtyard. Meaning they have additional rentable spaces that we are allowed to use, but not set things up in.
They are very kindly allowing us an extra 45 min at no cost to have our ceremony (not having a 45 min ceremony, but like time for guests to arrive and sit and start the ceremony and then start cocktail hour a bit before our official rental starting time so we can catch sunset for couple photos).
Our current plan is to have the ceremony in the courtyard, then have people go inside for cocktail hour and to check out the gallery. However, drinks/food are not allowed in the gallery (second floor), and so our cocktails and appetizers will all be on the first floor. Tables and chairs will already be set up, and we can probably fit some belly bars around as well. Then the reception will still be in the same space. I'm not sure if dancing will fit well in the same room as all the dinner tables/chairs, and have included a layout of the venue from All Seated, with my own tables and chairs plan added as well as some notes.
I am struggling to figure out how to better utilize the courtyard since we are paying for it for the full reception time, but only really are able to use it so far for the ceremony, and they are allowing us to do that for free anyway (I don't mind paying something for it, but it does feel a little silly to pay for it for 4 hours and only use it in any official capacity for the free ceremony time). We have the rental company coming at 3pm to set up tables and chairs for the reception and chairs outside for the ceremony, then they will leave.
Should I hire someone to fold up all the outdoor chairs during the cocktail hour to then use the courtyard for...something? A dance floor if there isn't enough space inside for dancing? The DJ is able to have set ups in multiple locations for no extra cost.
What I reeeally wish I could do is just have all the guests take their ceremony chairs inside for the tables...but I worry that is just not appropriate? But it would just solve so many issues! The chairs would be out of the way immediately instead of hiring a few people to take a few minutes to get it done, and then we could instead have cocktail hour out in the courtyard AND use it for dancing later on. Plus we'd only need to rent half as many chairs. I would need to make sure, but I believe the caterers could set up the cocktail hour appetizers in a way that they would then quickly be able to get the food out there after the chairs are cleared away, and I am hopeful that at least some guests will also be excited to go up to the gallery instead of immediately go for drinks and food.
My friend whose wedding I officiated did a 'backyard wedding' (it was at her husband's parents very large estate/farm with a private lake, so a very beautiful and grand feeling backyard wedding!) and as part of my announcements after the ceremony, we asked everyone to carry their ceremony chairs over to the reception tent to place at tables. Everyone was happy to do so, and helped out for any guests who were unable to carry their own, and it went very quickly. I would really love to do this but something about it being a backyard wedding vs a more formal venue makes it seem wrong.
If we don't do that, should I plan to hire people to fold up the chairs and try to then get people back outside for cocktail hour after a few minutes? Or do I need to give up on using the ceremony space for cocktail hour. Is it advisable to at least use the courtyard for dancing? Is it awkward to split up the space where dancing will occur from where we are eating dinner? I don't have a fully formed timeline yet, but so far it's something like:
3:00 - rentals arriving, coordinator at venue, family and wedding party photos around area near venue
5:00 - guests arriving
5:15 - ceremony
5:45 - cocktail houcouple sunset photos (sunset at 6:10pm, hoping to make it to some of the cocktail hour)
6:45 - first dance, parent dances
7:00 - dinner
8:00 - toasts then dancing/partying, dessert coming out at some point, or toasts could be just before dinneafter dances
10:00 - end

Hey folks,
I'm joining up with a DnD 5e game that just got started. It's level 2, I'd say Low-Mid Optimization as it's one player's first time w/ DnD.
The party consists of:

1. Tanky/Support Lockadin
2. Crit Fishing Hexblade
3. "Sniper" RangeRogue
4. (This is a quote) "Mobile Fire Trail Dude"

I'm assuming 4 is a monk or maybe a Wildfire Druid. I can't think of what would generate a fire trail, but the mobility has me thinking monk or the teleportation that Wildfire spirit provides.

When I look at this party, I see at least two front-liners, a single target Ranged class who can also handle Scouting and Rogue-Stuff and then the "Wildcard" which is the fire-speedster.

What do I play to support this?
My first instinct is almost always to start with "Cleric", but I have played a Wisdom full-caster in my last three campaigns (I love playing support - bard, cleric and druid!).
However, my inclination, looking at this party comp is actually to look at Wizard or Artificer (or Artificer 1/Wizard x). No one here has INT as their main-stat and we don't appear to have a lot of AOE or Control either.
Given that it's someone's first time (the Sniper) I don't want to over-shadow him. I also haven't played a Wizard before.

I'm looking to build an Evocation wizard. It looks like it won't step on the Sniper's toes for single target damage (barring Optimized Magic Missile at later levels), and will allow the Front Liners to get Stuck In without worrying about me dropping a Fireball on them. Also, as far as wizard goes, this seems fairly straight forward.
What I'm curious about are the other choices around that: cool race/feat/multiclass combos that work well with Evocation wizard?
If I dip, what do I dip? And when?
The common dips for Wizard seem to be Artificer, Forge/Peace/Twilight Cleric. What about Knowledge or Death?

Landscape Difficulty: The Paths of Valour!

We have reworked the Landscape Difficulty setting system introduced with Treebeard and are now opening it to the general game worlds as an option! Read full details about this new Landscape Difficulty option in the release notes below.​ A new Faction and new rewards are now available by playing these higher difficulties. Activate your difficulty and adjust it in the future by speaking with a Hardened Traveller, which can be found in major hubs and new player zones throughout Middle-earth:

• Outside of the Prancing Pony in Bree
• Near the Stable Masters outside of the 21st Hall
• Just inside of the exit of Post-Raid Archet
• Just outside of Mossward
• Along the road Northward out of Celondim
• Just outside the door to Thorin's Hall
• Down the road from the Hobbit starter area exit waypoint

There are titles available for activating a difficulty of 3 or higher and keeping it there from level 10 to level 50, and then to level 130 respectively. The title granted depends on the class you play, but can be used by any character on your account. Make sure to select your Landscape Difficulty prior to achieving level 10 to be eligible for these titles! In order to earn these titles, you must keep the difficulty system active for the entire leveling span from level 10 thru 50/130. • Several player stun-removal skills were inappropriately flagged as 'Immediate' causing them to occasionally cancel themselves and fail to free you from stuns. These skills are now correctly 'Fast' rather than 'Immediate' skills.

  • The skill "Do Not Fall this Day" no longer breaks the target of the skill out of Stealth.

Crafting

• Crafters can now make two new tiers of selectable craftable essence boxes.
• Gundabad Skarn Deposits have been renamed to Brilliant Skarn Deposits.

Landscape Difficulty

• There are titles available for activating a difficulty of 3 or higher and keeping it there from level 10 to level 50, and then to level 130 respectively. The title granted depends on the class you play through with, but can be used by any character on your account.
  • In order to earn these titles, you must keep the difficulty system active for the entire leveling span from level 10 thru 50/130. Entering areas of the game world where it is temporarily suppressed will not invalidate your title attempt, however turning it down or off via the Hardened Traveller will.
  • Existing characters above level 10 will not be able to earn the titles themselves, but will be able to use those titles if they are earned by another character on your account.
• When playing at Fearless or higher, enemies of your own level or higher may drop Tokens of Heroism.
  • These can be turned in to complete weekly tasks from the Hardened Traveller, which will increase your reputation with the Paths of Valour faction.
  • At Fearless difficulty (3-6), these tokens can drop for up to 3 members in a Fellowship.
  • At Heroic difficulty (7+) they can drop for up to 6 members in a Fellowship.
  • The drop rate of these tokens increases somewhat with higher difficulties.
• The difficulty settings and effects are pretty much the same as they were on Treebeard, though we've changed up the names a bit, and added a few variations to the hotspot effects you can encounter under the Eye of Sauron.
• The Hardened Traveller has a menu of barter rewards that include a small set of Reputation accelerators for the faction and Morale/Power potions. More importantly, he also offers an array of 8 new Epic variations of familiar emotes which you will be able to find on the Collections panel.

General Landscape Changes:

• Court of Celeborn now has a map.
• Floating objects in the Allegiance Halls and in Mordor have been grounded.
• Incorrect textures in Minas Tirith has been resolved.

• Stablemaster map text has been updated for the German game client.

Missions and Delvings

​

• Delving Barter Vendors and Mission Givers have also been added to all our Skirmish Camps. We did this to make it easier to turn in delving quests no matter where players are. Delving Mission Givers have also been given that title as a role to make it easy to spot them.
• Created a Selectable Delving Extraordinary Box that only drops in instances at tiers 7+. While still rare, new instances have a significantly higher drop rate for this item.
• The Delving Tracery Archive Travel Skill no longer has any reputation requirements.
• Mission: Jorthkyn and the Hounds
  • The Mission now appropriately identifies that you need to kill 8 wargs along with the 8 Jorthkyn to advance the quest.
  • The Mission had some pesky low-level monsters that really wanted to get in on the fight. They have been reprimanded to stay in their lanes.
• Fixed an issue with the mission "Dangerous Deliveries" where the player would pick the pie up twice upon completing the induction to pick up the pie.
• The bridge in the mission Patrol the Township that was bereft of physics has found its physics and will now support your character as it should.
• Before the Shadow missions that referred to previous mission givers have been updated with references to current mission givers.
• The mission "The Nettinglade" had a single cocoon that decided it didn't want to sparkle. The spider responsible has been admonished and though it pledged to swallow all Light in the world, it relented and allowed it's cocoon to sparkle once again.
• Delving Reward Changes:
  • Delving Selectable Crafting Boxes that drop at tier 7 and above can now be disenchanted instead for 20 Delvings Writs. These boxes now have a six hour expiration timer on them. These changes do not affect existing Crafting Boxes.
  • Changed how many writs completing Delving quests give. Tier 1-3 now give 10 writs, Tier 4-6 give 20 writs, Tier 7-9 give 30 writs and Tier 10-12 give 40 writs.
  • Two new cosmetic pets added to Delving Barter.
  • Delving armour will now be disenchantable for more Delving Writs. Common armour will disenchant for 10 writs, rare armour will disenchant for 20 writs, incomparable armour for 30 writs.
  • Added Tier 1 and Tier 2 Essence Boxes to the Delving Barter for Writs, and removed Tier 0.
  • Added Morale and Power Potions to the Delving Barter for Writs. Morale and Power potions also drop as rewards from high tier instance Delving Chests.
• Delving Mission Givers in Skirmish Camps now give Weekly Delving Quests.
• Mission - Defilers in the Dale - Corrected a visual bug where the cauldron's contents and bubbles could become visibly offset after being destroyed.
• Rewards that drop from Delvings have been updated with new Delving-specific icons.

PvMP

• We have adjusted the distribution of Infamy/Renown while grouped. In the past, there was a modifier that increased the value of player kills when more than 6 kill contributors were involved. This resulted in the value of a single kill, while in a raid, to be valued over 2x what the kill should have been worth.
  • We have adjusted this modifier to make these values - in the absence of any other modifiers - equivalent to equal distribution of the infamy value of the kill.
  • We have adjusted the bonus modifier to infamy/renown gains when killing ranked players. This change rewards a higher contribution bonus for killing players of a higher rank.
• The War-spoils Carry-all icons have been updated and no longer display a bottle of liquid
• Lootboxes found by monster players now always drop 3 items from three specific tables:
  • Table 1 includes potions, barter lockboxes, and the potential for 500 commendations with weighting toward the barter box, and then equivalent draws for the remaining items.
  • Table 2 includes an equal chance for random perk items from a pool of 5 items.
  • The 3rd table has an equal chance to drop a single Audacity upgrade scroll, 2 Audacity upgrade scrolls, Lord's Symbols, Captain's Marks, 1k Commendations, 1.5k Commendations or a new Cosmetic Selection Box.
    • The Cosmetic Selection Box contains 2 new skins for each class. Previews are available on NPCs present near the Gramsfoot retreat circle.
    • The Selection Box also contains several new cosmetic weapons: Thrâng's Sword, a silvered scimitar, a spider-clan trident, an off-hand Gundabad mace, a Spider-clan staff, an Easterling Ghost Bow, and a new Dunharrow Shield.
    • The Box also contains a new cosmetic type that can be slotted into appearance Corruptions to change the style of your 'March!' skill emitted effects. These include: a white glow, fire trail, acid trail, and a "blue-foot" trail.
• The eggs around Grodris in the Isendeep Mine will now hatch if disturbed during the battle against the matron.
• Fixed an issue with the first and second marshal rewards not providing keys to the chest. The quests for First and Second marshal now correctly reward the key to the chest.
• Tokens of Valour will now go into the War-spoils Carry-all.
• Updated the new Monster Play tutorial to reference using skills on training dummy Kelsen, Jalessa, or Light training-dummy Orion. If you choose the other training dummies you are locked in combat for the full duration of the spawn - which is five minutes. This is bad. Please use the safety dummies. Use those initial skill training dummy Kelsen, Jalessa, or Light training-dummy Orion.
• First Marshal An and Tyrant Uzulthrang are back in action and ready to rush Tol Ascarnen when the opposition is in control. The rewards on the quests to use these two is increased significantly. Each has also been buffed appropriately.
• All values and costs for Lainedhal's Insignias were reduced. You can now purchase the old versions for nostalgia, but the tier 15 version is available to all rank 1 players and better for 2000 commendations and has a 1m cooldown just as the monster player brand.
• The Rank 9 mount available in monster play now has a full +68% movement bonus because it should have been upgraded along with all other mounts that are this hard to get.
• We adjusted the damage done by Spider Hatchlings to be more in line with creatures that are level 140.
• There was a bug introduced when we lowered the cost of monster play potions where we did not lower the amount purchasable from the barter NPC. This has been corrected and now you can only purchase in stacks of three.
• Mazauk and Old Goldhead have been refreshed and stand ready to help you capture Lugazag or Tirith Rhaw.
• Old U21 gear was using old Audacity values. This has been reduced to 1.
• Freepside Ettenmoors quests now award considerably more IXP when completed.
• The Freepside weekly quest, 'Battle Across the Ettenmoors' now gives slightly improved rewards.
• Many monster player skill power costs have been adjusted. In particular, several healing skills cost substantially more power.
• The base critical heal multiplier for most Creepside heals has been reduced from 1.5 to 1.2.
• Increased damage of ranger session play skills.
• Orc Defiler
  
  • Cooldowns reduced for Fertile Slime and Fungal Spores.
  • Fungal Spores initial heal potency reduced.
  • Enhanced Fungal Spores now rolls for a critical heal on each pulse, rather than following the critical outcome of the initial skill use.
  • Fertile Slime no longer has an initial heal.
  • Healing from Improved Blessing of Darkness now occurs every 1 second, rather than every 2 seconds.
  • Constant Pain now pulses healing every 2 seconds, and will restore some power to the defiler when it does.
• Orc Reaver
  
  • Blade Toss now only applies its slow and/or knockdown effects to targets facing away from you.
• Spider Weaver
  
  • Several spider animations should no longer slow down when you gain attack speed buffs.
  • Trapdoor Sanctuary now lasts 10 seconds; when traited, it will heal 5% of your max health each second.
• New Potions (of Bravery and Essence) are now correctly usable by the Free Peoples.
  
• Insignias now have a 3 minute cooldown and provide 15 seconds of combat state immunity (Tyrant Brands still have a 1 minute cooldown and only provide 5 seconds of immunity for now).
  
• Alwuld the Item Trader now carries the updated Morale and Power potions.
  
• Potions of Essence now correctly restore different amounts of Power, according to their quality and rank requirements.
  

Quests, Deeds and Instances

• Tier 4 of Gwathrenost, the Witch-king's Citadel is available.
• All slayer deeds in the Wells of Langflood, will now properly reward players with LOTRO Points.
• Gwathrenost, the Witch-king's Citadel - The final Objective of 'The Storming of Gwathrenost' now functions similarly to 'Into the Hiddenhoard, allowing the Player the choice of whether or not to abandon the quest after completing it. The option to complete the quest via the Quest Actions panel was causing some players to mistakenly erase their progress in a given reset cycle, so this has been removed.
• Azanulbizar - Quest: Death in the Dale - The quest guide for this quest has been corrected to highlight the proper area.
• Azanulbizar - Quest: Elusive Prey - The quest guide now properly highlights the general locations of all the Rare foes in Azanulbizar.
• Sagroth - The Sewer Water debuff that can be applied to players during the Gárvadach encounter now carries the resistance type "disease" instead of "corruption".
• Several fading or overlapping combat music bugs have been fixed in the Race of Man and hobbit tutorials, the Archet raid, and the Trouble at Tuckborough skirmish.

Miscellaneous

• The Allegiance panel can now be resized an additional horizontal distance.
• Certain Brawler Belt Buckles were appearing under the Lore-master class in searches in the Auction House. That has been fixed.
• Upgraded the compiler used to compile the 32 bit game client to make it compatible with upgraded OpenAL.
• Clydesdale mounts can now be used in Thorin's Hall and the Hall Under the Mountain
• The Assistant Stable-master at Elrond's Stables in Rivendell douses the horse less frequently.
• Facepaint rewards acquired from Hobnanigans now correctly shows on Human avatars.
• The Draught Horse cosmetic pets received in the Homesteads and Harvests Coffers have been renamed to "Miniature" Draught horses.
• Matching full size Draught horse cosmetic pet tomes have been granted (account-wide) to everyone that purchased the Homesteads and Harvests Coffers.
• The Homestead Steed mount scale has been increased to match the expected size of a draught horse. Many animation issues have been resolved for the Homestead Steed mount as well.
• Updated the icon for the Stoorvales/Clegur Milestone and for the Clegur travel skills.
• Several Run Speed buffs and debuffs were overwriting effects of greater potency. Player-applied Run Speed Effects should now only overwrite effects of the same kind (out of combat speed buff, in combat speed buff, or debuff) and the most potent effect should always be the one which is actively applied.

Known Issues:

• In French and German the Tokens of Heroism may display as Tokens of Valour.
• The Stable-master panel in Collections has not been updated to include King's Gondor.
• The Deeds "Boar-slayer of Lower Lebennin" and "Boar-slayer of Lower Lebennin (Advanced)" are not bestowing/advancing properly.
