As I have been saying, I am a 55m and I have been a PreCog all my life, this is my attempt to save people besides myself. My safety is never in question.
I revealed to my family and friends in June of 2022 that I was a time traveler via documents, FB messages, etc... After that I started posting in reddit timetravel but I didn't know about removing posts so that was some chaos I had to smooth out.
In my third post I announced:
There is a time traveler who I will call “J” and she is disrupting the normal state of time and space.
J has the ability to communicate to us all. I am not special in that regard. She communicates via dreams/visions and I can tell the difference.
I am sorry if this is disjointed, if it helps think of the movie Memento).
J does not see time like I do, so she may not present things in order from our perspective... we good, things make sense at the end.
J is constantly trying to make this easier to understand for everyone to understand and she is constantly fine tuning things to get enough to understand. Her plan is for our descendants get to the stars. She keeps jumping back to her train station, making changes to try to get you to understand.
As near as I can tell she needs the help of our descendants, but I do not know how true that is, as I do not trust her.

If you do not have a physics background that is fine. I will not get into a physics lesson. But, I do have one ask.
If you do know someone with a physics background, ask them if what I am describing is possible if the MWI theory was true. What it would mean if there actually was an infinite number of timelines and you had the ability to move between them.

That is ok my timeline fam, hopefully infinite universes get widely understood this go around as J uses the infinite part to try to make it easier to understand…

I will use movies as examples as much as possible to make it as easy to understand for as many as possible.
Infinity of universes examples are in the the awesome movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. There is also the awesome movie Everything, Everywhere All at Once, and how they represented the infinite of universes.
The only thing I want you to focus on is universes and the infinity of the choices.
That part is so true(infinity). J claims that there are no sausage universes, we are never rocks, we are never paint, or any of the other things. It is an infinity of different versions of us all slightly different. She literally has infinite number of possibilities, but the light makes it easier. I have not looked at them all, it takes me forever to peer into one.
I have been calling the timelines but others want to call them universes, multiverse, etc...
We are talking about the same thing. The universe is affected by the flow of time, and I can be outside the boundaries of this universe projected into the Yeoh Dimension which lets me 'turn around' and look at the infinite of universes, they all move evenly, steadily following the march of time... so I call them timelines.
A timeline is a single universe from the HumanVerse.
The HumanVerse is a subset of the infinity of universes, to be part of the HumanVerse the timeline must contain human life.
I am a human and give 0F about timelines that do not have us.
If you see me use the word timelines, if you want to think universe, multiverse, whateverse... we good. It is the infinity part I need you to be thinking about, the infinity of options J has.
Now I want you to think what it would mean if there actually was an infinite number of timelines AND you had the ability to move between them.
I figured out how to jump between timelines, jumping from a flesh suit body on one timeline and jumping to my body on another timeline.
I have had the ability since I was 9 when I fell face first into a bonfire and quickly left that timeline/universe.

The last timeline it was at this point in time when I started to get into the cat theory, I found out he was a pedo (I do not know what I do not know).
So I jumped back and created my Mötley Cat Theory to avoid carrying that name into the future.
The Mötley Cat Theory
This theory is like a certain quantum cat theory put forth by a known pedophile, with some important differences. The cat is not in the box with a device that has a 50% chance of killing it. The cat is in a box with a device that can affect the cat in an infinite number of ways, setting an infinite number of states that the cat can be in.
Obeying quantum theory, the cat is every state until the box is opened and the state of the cat is known. The state of the cat when it is put in the box is not in question, it is set, constant and establishes the direction of the flow of time… from the known state of the cat to the unknown infinite states of the cat.
The box that the Mötley Cat is put in is what I was taught to call a “Black Box”. In science and engineering, the term black box refers to any complex device for which we know the inputs and outputs, but we do not know the how of the black box, as the inner workings of the black box is unknown.
The output of the black box are the timelines that come out, and I illuminate the ones we want. J bundles them and I am on the timeline heading towards the light.
I hope enough people can understand the Mötley Cat theory and hope my blatant theft of this theory from the pedo doesn't ruffle too many feathers. Mi scusi!

The first crossroads is the upcoming debt ceiling and the Quantum Outcomes that result from setting that cat's state. I am just looking at the lit timelines and seeing the easiest path.
I humbly propose we just raise the debt ceiling now to avoid any issues.
The second crossroads is the upcoming election fight between Biden and Trump in 2024.
I am trying to avoid chaos, and to try to keep everyone calm. I think my proposal will do that.

2023.03.22 13:19 eliralira I have a networking event tomorrow and I don't know what to do

Tomorrow, I'll be going to a networking event for around 3 hours, potentially talking to 20-30 employers about work while I study or internship/placement opportunities. I have a mandatory internship as part of my degree but I'm also interested in opportunities outside of that while I'm free.
This is my first time doing this and I'm not sure how to prepare or what to say to employers the moment I meet, while we're talking or when I leave if I even know how to. I don't know how to dress as well. I plan to somewhat prepare my LinkedIn (adding details, etc) and maybe bring a few copies of my resume if I get it done on time. The event holders recommend connecting with the employers at the stalls via LinkedIn but I'm not sure if that's normal or something awkward to bring up (would they be open to saying yes?). I was going to ask questions about the work environment and what they do at the companies but I'd imagine I would have to research all 20-30 companies beforehand to make a better impression. Some have even mentioned students getting offered positions on the spot and I'm not sure how to be one of those students to achieve that.

I know this is a huge question, but I’ve been bouncing around so many ideas—including disability. The only problem I have with that I can’t really hold down a job once I get on it and I know it doesn’t pay much at all. For background I have a bachelor’s degree in English, my TEFL certificate (my plan pre-diagnosis was to teach English in Korea), and I’m also a certified federal healthcare navigator. I have done so many jobs from front desk manager at a hotel in Yellowstone to helping with the ACA, but the problem is these jobs are so hard on me.
My MS kills me with fatigue and pain and some days (especially as the manager) I would have to use my cane or lay in bed crying from the Hug and all the pain. I honestly don’t know what to do. I feel sometimes like my brain is telling me I’m fine but my body tapped out about 3 years ago.
What do you all do? Is it manageable with your MS?

Good morning fellow feds!
I'm a non-supervisory GS-13 at a center within HHS. I've been with the Fed since 2019. My husband is medically retired out of the Army with a compensable 50% service-connected disability that is also Schedule A eligible. He recently graduated with an Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering technology from an ABET-certified program (this is important later). He received almost every honor out there- he's a member of honors societies, was named "Outstanding Graduate," is a published author, graduated summa cum laude, you name it. He's done extremely well for himself in spite of everything he was up against.
He's been trying to get on with the Fed since graduation, but has been having an extraordinarily hard time getting interviews. Every time he finds a position he's qualified for, he cross-references the duties/responsibilities to his resume to make sure his resume includes everything. He's probably applied to 15 jobs, that he meets all qualifications for, but has only received one interview. He applied with the USPTO, requested a SPPC due to his Schedule A disability, and never heard anything of value back, and the HR person said that someone with OHR would contact him in the future at some point, but it wouldn't be a SPPC.
I know that he's obviously not guaranteed a Fed job just because he's a disabled vet. But my understanding is that because of his background, if he meets the minimum qualifications, he's supposed to receive at least an interview. He's been trying to contact various folks with questions but no one ever gets back to him. After five months we did hear back from an HR rep at the VA who left an extremely unprofessional voicemail essentially telling him to re-write his resume. We had attended a VMSTEP seminar at my agency in November, and the person putting on the seminar said that anyone who had issues could reach out to her with questions. We finally heard from someone yesterday, and it was extremely unhelpful.
Does anyone have any pointers on what to do for this? He is not applying to positions that he's unqualified for. He did get one job offer with a Power Administration place, but we would have had to move 1900 miles to a place that is extremely expensive, and there were no moving expenses authorized. It is so frustrating- I was able to apply once, got my interview, and got hired immediately. When he's applying he includes his disability paperwork from the VA that documents the 50% service-connected disability with the diagnosis, DD214, transcripts, resume, cover letter, everything. I'm just at a loss as to what to do.

What kind of learning environment have you created through Centers of Invention, Innovation, Incubation, and Training (CIIITs) set up in Jammu and Kashmir?
CIIIT in Jammu and Kashmir is a joint venture by Tata Technologies-led industry consortium and the government of Jammu and Kashmir, providing an advanced ecosystem for innovation and skill development for the students, industry professionals, and the unemployed youth in the state. It will not only help provide skilled resources to the local industries but also provide self-employment opportunities to the youth. The center incorporates advanced software and technology tools as well as hardware machinery to convert the ideas into startups under the guidance of experts of Tata Technologies-from scratch to the production stage.
The initiative also includes several Innovation Challenge competitions. Furthermore, we run design thinking workshops and mentorship programs under the guidance of experts from Tata technologies and partners. This close industry-academia interaction will help generate more avenues for self-employment, especially in the areas such as electric vehicles, the Internet of Things, consumer goods, and additive manufacturing, among others. In fact, we have already produced some output. Recently, a few students converted an ordinary bicycle into an elliptical one. They have also designed and developed an innovative grass cutter. So that’s the kind of environment we provide.
What are the focus areas in training? What kinds of latest technologies and tools are the students exposed to?
We majorly focus on two aspects: Technology Center and the Workshop. In the technology center, we cover the entire lifecycle of product design and development. We acquaint them with product verification and analysis through high-end tools while also introducing them to advanced machining. And the third lap comes in as the Internet of Things. So these are the major aspects we cover in the Technology Center.
In the workshop, one of the major sections is battery-powered electric vehicles. We cover the entire EV life cycle, including battery management, systems, repair & maintenance, two-wheeler testing and motor testing of the battery, and electric vehicle components, among others. We also cover advanced manufacturing, encrusting laser cutting, milling center, CNC turning, spray painting, etc. We ensure that students are exposed to a hands-on environment with many advanced tools and state-of-the-art facilities because ITI graduates will be more hands-on when they work professionally. For the same reason, whatever they learn in theory, they have to practice it here.
We also cover industrial robotics. The manufacturing industry has wholly moved into advanced robotics, and it is no secret that we need a lot of people who can operate these robots. We have created an entire customized industrial robotics cell wherein advanced industrial processes like arc welding and pick & place palletizing will be taught to the students in a hands-on manner.
We cover the entire EV life cycle, including battery management, systems, repair & maintenance, two-wheeler testing and motor testing of the battery, and electric vehicle components, among others.
Another segment we cover is advanced plumbing. There have been a lot of advancements in plumbing in recent times, especially in terms of the emergence of several discrete techniques for plumbing in different verticals like hotels, stadiums, and shipping yards. The plumbing techniques have also undergone sea changes in the urban areas. And that’s what we’re going to teach them, including the sprinkler systems, the rainwater harvesting system, solar systems, etc.
Additionally, we have also incorporated virtual reality-based painting and welding training. That adds up to minimize the material used during painting or welding training. Students will learn virtually first and then jump onto the exact machine, saving a lot of material costs. Another segment is additive manufacturing or 3D printing. Since almost all industries embrace the human-machine interface, we also cover industrial process control and automation in our curriculum. And last but not least, the advanced automotive section.
What will be the kind of impact Imphal CIIIT will create in Manipur? How do you think it will help the state in its industrial progression?
Manipur is traditionally known for its Handlooms and handicrafts, agriculture, forestry, food processing & retail, electrical machinery, and transport equipment, among others. The state has several small-scale and medium-scale industries in these verticals. CIIIT will help the people of Manipur, especially the young people, innovate using the latest technologies and enhance the existing industries with new skills. It will also help improve the self-employment scenario. With a lot of the skilled Industry 4.0 manpower available, Manipur will be able to attract more investments. So, the idea is not just to provide people with technical knowledge, but we are focusing more on entrepreneurship, which will help bring a more sustainable business ecosystem to the state.
You have a plan to build a common facility center catering to skill development in the electric vehicles segment in Punjab. Tell us more about this.
We all know that Punjab is very good with automotive manufacturing. They also have an excellent market, where people want to try different things. So, keeping that innovative aspect in mind, we are trying to develop an advanced electric vehicle learning center. This will include electric vehicle powertrain design and fabrication, complete battery management systems and battery packing, and charging infrastructure and its technical aspects. Additionally, the center will also acquaint them with the entire design of a vehicle, how to make it lightweight, and much more.

👋 Hey all, we just launched ChatLLaMA. An experimental chatbot interface for interacting with variants of Facebook's LLaMa. Currently, we support the 7 billion parameter variant that was fine-tuned on the Alpaca dataset. This early version isn't as conversational as we'd like, but over the next week or so, we're planning on adding support for the 30 billion parameter variant, another variant fine-tuned on LAION's OpenAssistant dataset and more as we explore what this model is capable of.

I'll be interviewing a test and evaluation engineer in the next few days and I'd like suggestions of questions to ask him
1) general RF skills related to test and eval engineering questions. Not specific to his background.
2) questions that help evaluate initiative, i.e. "self-starter" aspect of taking on challenges
3) the job will require field tests, coordinating logistics as well as being the lead to setup hardware. Troubleshooting when things aren't going to plan. What kind of question can help evaluate the candidates ability to succeed in that environment?

This scene stuck in my head. The Ehrenfest Ducal family discuss duchy ranking. Gregor is new character. He also Isekai, like Myne. But he is more connected to the previous world and wants to travel.

How high in duchy ranking you expect us to go? - Gregor asked. - I hope that You, Wilfred and Rozemyne will lead our students to the 10 place. - Eeeeeeeee.... - Gregor close his mouth and try to regain noble pose. - Aub Ehrenfest. I think you lack important, crucial information. - You think we will not rise that high? - No. I think we will pass the 10 place with speed and grace that will stunt all. - Gregor looked around the table and saw many confused faces. - Apperantly Ehrenfest nobles will be the most stunt. They are winning duchy. But they were Frontline during civil war. They suffered quite some losses. And they are lesser duchy both in size and population. Both Noble and Commoners. To make matters even worse they are practically under Klassenber control. Like only Zausengas is more controlled by Klassenberg, but that is because Zausengas is occupy by Klassenberg. They do not produce enough food to feed themselves, they buy it from Jossbrenner. Just like Klassenberg. What Lortzing does produce is clothes, that they dye and sell to Klassenberg nobles. And I don't think they are left with much money afterwards. They do get steadfast protection from their northen neighbor. But they do not have anything note worthy. And anything of value that they would come up with, will be stolen, or sorry. Embraced by Klassenberg. After Lortzing we will be compare with Lehmbruck. From information that I gather quarter if not third of their land have climate similar Haldenzel. I will repeat that. At least quarter of their entire duchy have as bad climate as Haldenzel. What they do have going for them is being a trade route between Gilessenmeyer, duchy of Zent First wife, and Sovereignity. With they embrace completely. They made marble road with entwicklen and build accommodation for merchant alongside it. They milk theme for all they can. So they have money, but no plan or even idea how to spend theme. Just like Lortzing we will overtake theme with increased mana and better grades. Frankly Childrens bible, Karuta, Geographical puzzles and of course Rozemyne Mana Compression Method are boosting our grades so high, that on theme alone. We should reach 11 place BEFORE I, Wilfred and Rozemyne enters Royal Academy. And without unleashing our Trends and Recipes we would have equal fight with Immerdink for 10 place. Just wanted to put this out there, no idea how it would be received in this sub but I'm just extremely frustrated right now...
So I started my first job in InfoSec after my Master's degree in September. This job has been great, but although they don't pressure me too hard about it they definitely want me to get my Security+ cert. But when I was looking for work after graduating nobody would even take a look at me twice when I told them I had a master's but not the Security+ cert, and honestly it felt kind of insulting. I talked to several recruiters that very clearly did not know very much (if at all) about information security, but as soon as they heard I didn't have a certification it was always "okay well ggt your security+ and call me back" and then they tried to get off the phone as quickly as possible. My entire time in grad school I studied cyber security because it has always been my end goal in studying computer science, and I feel like the security content that I learned in grad school was way more in depth than the content in the Security + book.
Now on to my second gripe and main complaint... But the way CompTIA markets and sells their products feels like the biggest scam of all time. First of all, I bought the Security+ ebook due to it being a few bucks cheaper and also the immediate "access" rather than waiting for shipping and all that. I put "access" in quotes because I found out after buying it that I didn't actually own the book, but rather purchased the right to use it for only a year. While I admit that part of the blame is not on me for fully reading and comprehending the terms before purchasing, I can't help but feel scammed. Why do I get 'punished' for buying a digital copy, saving us both a few bucks for printing and shipping as well as a few trees? Not to mention the fact that the digital books features are unusable in many cases (for example, certain terms are highlighted in the text and you're supposed to be able to click on them for definitions. Which works for terms near the top of the page, however as you work your way down the page the definitions for terms still appear at the top, and trying to scroll up to read them just makes them disappear and brings back the text. Therefore tough shit for me if I want to read the definition for a term that's not in the first two paragraphs. This is just one example of shit that doesn't work). I opened a support ticket and was basically told "thanks for bringing this to our attention but we don't plan on fixing this, go pound sand". Not to mention that I have to pay over 300 dollars just to take the exam?
Sorry for the long rant but I hope I'm not the only one that feels at least a little that CompTIA is taking advantage of IT workers. It seems like they built up a reputation in providing certs and are now milking everyone in the industry. My question to you is has it always been like this? When did CompTIA start nickel-and-diming people who want to learn and prove their knowledge with halfway usable products? When did education and experience lose all their value in the hiring process to certifications? Certifications that, at least for the lower levels, seem mostly like rote memorization without in-depth knowledge or reasoning? Share your experience please
Sorry for the rant again. Hopefully you see at least some validity in what I'm saying and that I'm not just complaining for no reason. I do plan on getting the Security+ cert still, as well as more advanced certs, I just feel like they're not worth it at all outside of the hiring process.

My brother has always been a bit of a piece of shit. He lied all through college that he was going to classes and then dropped out halfway through, so my parents let him live there rent free. They paid for him to go to another college, and right out of college he gets an offer for over 100k (possibly close to 150k) and they’re paying for his masters, too.
I, on the other hand, worked my ass off to pay for myself through college, graduated with a good GPA (not stellar but what do you expect when you’re working at the same time as taking classes), and despite being in nearly the same field as him (mine is actually slightly more advanced, he’s mechanical engineering I’m aero) I can only get offers close to 50k. I suspect my brother either lied on his resume or is the luckiest bastard to ever live and found the dumbest company that thought he was worth that much.
I just keep asking- where is my windfall? When do I get to find a cushy job that literally sets me up for life without ever having to worry financially ever again? Where is my second college being paid for by my parents, and masters degree for free from some stupid employer? I hate to say it but I hope it turns out he lied and they fire him so I don’t have to live knowing that he gets rewarded for failing.
