2023.05.30 20:34 7FootElvis How to view recipients excluded from an email send
When creating an email to send to groups I often get the status that "44 out of 46" recipients for example, will receive the email. "2 recipients won't be included in this email send." It appears to be very difficult to see who those recipients are so I can fix the issue, if needed.
There should be a link to view the list of recipients that won't receive the email. It does tell me that one recipient is set as a non-marketing contact and when I click on the "Use lists to see these contacts" it takes me to another screen and after waiting for it to process the list shows no recipients. "The list is currently empty" yet the size of the list at the top of the screen shows "1 contact."
Is there some trick I need to execute to see the 2 recipients who won't receive the email? I'm quite technically fluent and things like this in Hubspot seem so unintuitive.

2023.05.30 20:30 StrangeSense4257 Questionable NF post
I have been with current NF for a year but I recently got a job offer in my field so I will be leaving soon. I let NF know about a month before my start date. I came across MB’s listing for a new nanny and it is questionable.
They stated they only have the set of twins but they do have a 3rd kid that is usually at school but the school year ends this week. They also advertised $18-20 per hr but I’m currently being paid $25. They also said they need long term nanny but before my job offer MB brought up switching me to PT in August for the kids to start daycare PT.
I love the kids but this job was not great and I feel bad for the 5applicants already.

2023.05.30 20:30 PotatonadoWasTaken Discussion: The (Possibly) Tragic Aspects of Oshi No Ko
This post is inspired by a recent analysis I saw on this subreddit earlier that challenges the idea that Oshi No Ko is a tragedy, which I have linked below. I find it a great read and would highly recommend everyone to check it out! Note that this post isn't meant to respond to the linked post below, but an independent analysis of why Oshi No Ko could be a tragedy.
https://www.reddit.com/OshiNoKo/comments/13u6ke8/an_analysis_of_oshi_no_ko_the_story_is_not_a/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3 This analysis will be split into three parts:
- An analysis of the elements of tragedy and how Oshi No Ko aligns with it
- Certain points of foreshadowing specific to the story that points to certain characters' deaths
- Other miscellaneous reasons for why it would make sense for Aka to make it a tragedy (and maybe why it wouldn't)
------
1) Elements of tragedy I'm still a bit of an amateur at literary analysis, so I would love for others to add more insight into this which I might have missed.
According to Aristotle, a tragedy has three main characteristics (hamartia, anagnorisis, and peripeteia) that align with 6 other elements in the story (plot, character, diction, thought, spectacle and music). I'll explain each element and how the manga connects to its tragic aspects (as well as tragic characteristics, where applicable).
Plot (The Uncontrollable) Quite intuitively, Aristotle says tragedies are supposed to end in tragedy. Tbh, there's not much to discuss here, since any protagonist dying would be disastrous to the other characters (as well as the entire fandom). What is more interesting to discuss though, is the claim Aristotle makes, which is the tragic events that happen in the plot should be out of the tragic hero's control.
I give you our very likely tragic hero: Aqua (this is not an assertion. The characteristics I describe later throughout the analysis also give reasons for why Aqua's character lines up with a tragic hero's).
Interestingly enough, Aqua has had a long track record of doing insanely reckless things that have earned him the ire of other characters and fate himself. Two main examples are his response to Akane's suicide attempt early on in the manga, as well as his decision to suddenly reveal his and Ruby's relationship with Ai to the public. Both times, Aqua was criticized for the averse impacts his actions have had (even though he later solves the Akane situation with the raw footage video), and honestly were highly dependent on a lucky response from the public. Even during his previous life, the mf ran after a stalker into the woods at night AND TOWARDS THE EDGE OF A CLIFF without any thought about his safety whatsoever. Especially in his currently emotionally-driven and irrational state, if Aqua keeps up this trend of doing reckless things, he could very well provoke a response entirely out of his control that might bring his downfall.
Character (Hamartia) According to Aristotle, a tragic hero must have hamartia: a tragic flaw that eventually leads to their downfall. In this case, Aqua's progression as a character seems to be driven by one very large motive: his unhealthy obsession with avenging Ai's death. Given the current point in the story (the 15-year lie movie arc) is completely based on his obsession with Ai, it gives the necessary buildup to have that character trait backfire on Aqua to kickstart the tragedy. There are also explicit criticisms of this flaw of his, such as Akane's active opposition to Aqua's self-destructive behaviour, as well as some implicit ones like the recent interaction between Aqua and the crow girl in chapter 118. In the chapter, the crow girl says that Ai didn't get reincarnated unlike Ruby and Aqua, and that maybe he should consider the reason he was reincarnated. To many (including myself), this could imply a suggestion that he should reconsider his current path and use this second life of his to the fullest. When he let go of his intent for revenge for Ai earlier (because he thought his father was dead), he started TRULY living like a normal person. It is more than possible that Aqua's obsession with revenge and Ai could be his hamartia.
Diction (Anagnorisis) Diction in tragedy is based on anagnorisis: the sudden realization the tragic hero has about their situation, and that eventually leads them to their downfall. I believe we've already seen this anagnorisis in the manga: When Aqua realizes that his father is alive, and who Hikaru is.
This is the point where Aqua begins his downward spiral, and we see him start to revert to his vengeful, self-destructive arc. Except for this time, we see it amplified tenfold since his motives previously were somewhat diverted from the story painting his rise and development as an actor. Now that that's done, this particular downward spiral is centred solely on its purpose: revenge. This realization is the turning point to turn him into the self-destructive, hateful mess of a person he is currently; which is what leads us to the next element:
Thought (Peripeteia/Catharsis) A tragedy isn't just a story of the protagonist suffering at the end of it. It is a rollercoaster that constantly builds up the disaster the more twisted the tragic hero becomes, until it drops; and there is a release of emotions within the audience. Pity, sadness, grief. Relief. It is not a sudden twist of events, not an unexpected ending. It is an outcome everyone saw coming and when it finally hits, it releases all that buildup in a burst of emotions. This is catharsis.
Catharsis is primarily built with three components. The character (as mentioned earlier) of the tragic hero must begin with a morally upstanding individual, who the audience grows to root for. Then the downward spiral of events as a result of the anagnorisis. Then the release of emotions in the eventual downfall/death of the character.
It's very easy to argue that Aqua resembles that morally upstanding person. Even in his previous life as Goro, he's had many feats that point to his strong moral foundation. The fact that he was a doctor signalled his desire to help others. That he cared about his patients (Sarina) so much to the point of even taking up their hobbies post their death in their honour. That he actively stuck to his obligations as a doctor rather than to his instincts as a fan when he was with Ai. Up to his life as Aqua, where he is portrayed as a great brother who truly cares for Ruby (quite intuitive, examples are sprinkled throughout the manga). Additionally, a very common trope in these tragedies is to have the morals of the tragic hero into their very own hamartia. Guess whose hamartia could also be seen as a product of his undying love for his mother as a good son? Aqua himself.
But at this stage of the manga, we no longer see that loving Aqua. We no longer see his compassion and start to see him become a more twisted and hateful person in the current arc. The majority of his appearances now feature him with a black star in his eyes, which is typically referred to as a symbol of lies and manipulation, often with killing intent (this would take a whole other analysis). But even without making these assumptions, we've already seen him do some terrible things, such as actively manipulating Kana by playing with her emotions, casting Akane aside despite her good intentions, exposing his and Ruby's relationship with Ai without Ruby's consent, etc. I'm sure all of us still love Aqua and truly want to see him come out of this alive, but for most people, it is undeniable that he is the same compassionate, empathetic individual he was at the start of the story. That is the second component of catharsis to a tick.
The part we haven't seen yet is the ACTUAL release of catharsis, the horrific events that happen to the tragic hero at the end of the story. We haven't gotten to that part at this point in the plot yet, but since the first two components are present, it is fair to assume that the final release is impending.
Spectacle (Realism) There's not much to discuss about spectacle here tbh, since this isn't a live play. However, Aristotle's view on tragedies is for them to work, they have to imitate reality to an extent to make them relatable to the viewer. We can see the manga adhere to this rule by not only using realistic settings but also tackling realistic issues related to the entertainment industry. This doesn't mean anything though, since it's a manga. Just wanted to point that out.
Music Yeah, nothing much to discuss here. This is a manga, there's no music. The anime music banging though!
------
2) Foreshadowing "Yeah OP, you have a long essay about what a tragedy is and all, but what if I don't buy any of that?"
I wouldn't blame you. That's the whole point of starting this discussion with the analysis! But here are two more examples that I think foreshadow Aqua's tragic end.
Some might say this is a stretch, but I find it interesting why Aqua ended up playing the villain while filming the Sweet Today adaptation in the Entertainment World arc. He even explicitly mentions the irony of it all, playing the "stalker that killed Ai." But it is never brought up again throughout the manga. I can understand it being a lone tongue-in-cheek irony thing, but for a writer like Aka who is always so comprehensive with his motifs and symbolism even in this manga, it doesn't rule out the possibility that this was foreshadowing Aqua's eventual dark path. Also, the stalker ended up committing suicide after killing Ai. Which has also been expressed as Aqua's plan once he kills his father. Make of that what you will.
In addition, an enigmatic character who is showing some rising relevance in the story is the crow girl, who is not only a supernatural character, but also has some semblance of being a deity of death (crows are also a very widely-used symbol of death). We never truly see her before her appearance in the Private Arc, but when she interacted with Aqua and Ruby, both of them seemed familiar with her. They both may have met her somewhere off-screen during their reincarnations. The reason I bring her up is that the three appearances she makes, it often has to do with death in some way. Be it a discussion about Gorou's death or Ruby's discovery of Gorou's corpse. The one appearance that doesn't seem to have much immediate proximity to the theme of death is her latest one in chapter 118. Yes, this is during an arc that is about revenge for Ai's death, and Aqua's pursuit for Hikaru's death, but this interaction doesn't seem as linked to those as her other appearances. This interaction with Aqua was not about a previous death; hence, the logical conclusion is that it foreshadows an impending one. And while some might argue that the death might be Hikaru's, I believe this to be a bit too random, and Hikaru's character too insignificant (development-wise) to make this about his death. Consider that of all the appearances Crow Girl has made thus far, they have all been about one other character's death and one character only. Aqua, and his previous life as Gorou.
I want to note that it's been a while since I've read the earlier parts of the manga, and presently am writing this largely off my memory (I also really can't find the time to do a comprehensive re-read up to the current point in the story while taking notes). If there are any other possible moments of foreshadowing I've missed, please bring them up in the comments since I would love to know as well!
------
3) Miscellaneous/Meta As we cross the 2k word mark, I would like to end with an additional comment about the series in itself, and why it might make sense to Aka to make this story end as a tragedy.
Unlikely his other massively popular series (an absolute masterpiece), Kaguya-sama, Oshi No Ko is a series dedicated to dark themes. It is a series that exposes the dark side of the entertainment industry, actively tackles potentially triggering themes about suicide and parental abandonment, and has shown no mercy to the prospect of making its readers squirm with shock, discomfort, and sadness. It is a series that began by killing off its protagonist and ending its FIRST arc with one of the hugest and most emotionally devastating twists in manga history. This sends a huge message to the audience: do not expect happy endings, this series is dedicated to making you cry. While it doesn't rule out the possibility of Aqua getting a happy ending, a tragic ending would absolutely be consistent with the narrative that the story has had so far.
That said, in a small point for devil's advocate, this is also a series that largely hinges on twists and moments that shock readers (in a very NON-comprehensive list, we have Ai's death, Akane's imitation of Ai, the discovery that Aqua's father is alive (at the time we thought he was dead), Ruby and Akane suddenly discovering Gorou's body, and Sarina's absent mother showing up as the distributor for the 15-year lie movie in the latest chapter). Aqua, who has long been saying he doesn't intend to live once he's enacted his revenge, kind of deviates from that trend. If HE were to die, that wouldn't exactly be a shock to the audience, since it's been a long time coming. In short, it is possible that all my previous analyses about the release of catharsis and the foreshadowing might've also worked as reasons AGAINST the story ending in Aqua's death since it counteracts the whole strategy of the manga getting its appeal from its twists.
Therefore, if this isn't about Aqua's death, then there's one other plausible way this could be turned into a tragedy. An event that would absolutely break Aqua and might turn him into an empty shell of the person he once was, POSSIBLY resulting in him taking his own life by proxy.
I'm talking about Akane Kurokawa's death.
I won't get into a whole other analysis about whether or not Akane's death is likely. But one thing the post I linked above and I agree upon is, if someone were to die, it might be Akane. This is also a thought that is shared by a lot of fans in the community and has been arguably foreshadowed through her flawless imitation of (a now dead) Ai, her strong resolve to oppose Aqua's plan and save him (which might result in her doing some things that might end in her death, potentially also making Aqua feel responsible), and even more explicitly, that damn bridge scene in chapter 97 that made most of us think she was going to die. There are a lot of reasons to expect a possible Akane death in the near future, since it would not only be consistent with said foreshadowing but would also arguably have the same if not stronger tragic impact on Aqua and the Oshi No Ko fandom if she were to die. I pray that I am wrong, but these are my speculations for now.
------
Conclusion Long story short, this was an analysis that looked into the elements of a tragedy and how the Oshi No Ko storyline thus far has fit within it. Independently of that, there are some additional reasons to suggest Aqua's death in the future; and if not, it MIGHT be Akane's (I REALLY HOPE I AM WRONG).
If you've read all 2.5k+ words of this analysis, thanks! I want to note that I am not a literary expert, and there are simply too many unresolved nuances to form a definite prediction on the outcome of the story now. Therefore, I'd love to hear some more of your thoughts in the comments and am very open to further discussion or debate on this matter. Hopefully this has given some food for thought on the literary aspects of the series, and I can't wait to see where it goes!

2023.05.30 20:29 vanillababyfood Am I just better off re-listing the item completely from scratch?
| On this listing I know I have nice pics, a great price, free shipping, & solid interaction (a good amount of likes + in-bag buyers come and go), yet no sale after 3 months! I'm hella confused because my other items DO sell despite not getting nearly this much interaction. Should I just continue to update the listing, or am I better off re-listing it from scratch completely? Not sure if I'm like missing something, but it's pretty frustrating. I'm rlly just looking for any advice I can get on how to go about selling listings like these. All input is appreciated :) submitted by vanillababyfood to Depop [link] [comments] |
2023.05.30 20:29 Videowulff Contractor Red flag?
Long story short - set up with a contractor from my insurance to assist me with a flooded house repair. After sending their estimator, we are told that we are on a waiting list and will be contacted when ready to start repairs.
Two weeks later, I send an email asking when they will be ready for us. They say we are 5th on the list - and they will contact us when its our turn.
3 more weeks pass and I start doing some digging into the company. See they have pretty bad reviews on google. (I know this is already a red flag). I email them again asking for an update. Nothing the following day.
Today I finally email them stating I will be canceling their services and going with another group who seems to have better reviews. Not 15 minutes after that email, I get a response say "That is unfortunate. You are next on the list and everything is ready to go starting tomorrow. Do you still want to cancel?" Followed by a phone call to confirm what they just said.
Please tell me that is some B.S. AFter a month of no communication - they suddenly respond after I tell them I want a different contractor. I'm not imagining this right?

2023.05.30 20:26 NoWrap3153 The best adhesive and shell fill
I posted this on the Nerf Reddit for someone asking about reducing shell creaking. It works really well for repairs and body work for integrations. Not sure if someone already posted about this recently. A modder that knows more about modding than I ever will taught me about this. Feel free to add to it. I have it listed as cosmetic but the bond it creates is structural if you let it cure long enough. Generally 24 hours is long enough.
There is a solution that works very well but it takes some work and is a permanent, irreversible mod once done. You can take pieces of plastic from the shell of nerf blasters and dissolve them in a glass mason jar of pure acetone from Home Depot or a hardware store. Make sure you use a glass jar with a metal lid. It will take about a day for the plastic to dissolve into a goey liquid. You can add more acetone if you need to thin the “slurry” once it is completely dissolved. If it is too thin, leave the lid off for half an hour at a time until it reaches a consistency thick enough to work with.
Next, open the blaster and remove the internals completely. Take care (and may pictures) to remember how they go together so you can put the blaster back together when you are done.
Once you have the shell into two halves without internals, speared the homemade mixture on any seams/joints of the blaster. Be careful not to get it on any springs or moving parts or they will be ruined. Let it dry overnight and the next day it should be hard enough to replace the internals and close the blaster.
I used this technique on many blasters to reinforce the shells but in particular on a revolitnator and a modulus ecs-10 that were commissioned builds. It works very well but is incredibly messy and time consuming.
A few things to note:
• You MUST use ABS plastic. The best place I have found to get them is from Nerf brand shells. Many off brand blaster shells won’t work. • Most internal plastic is not ABS and won’t work for dissolving. The mixture also won’t stick to most internal pieces properly so trying to use it to fix catches and plunger rods, etc won’t work. • Most small orange plastic pieces on a Nerf shell are not ABS and won’t work. Triggers, sling mount pieces, some barrels/muzzles, and the like are not abs and won’t dissolve • You will need to have a thin metal rod of some kind and pure acetone on hand to work with the mixture frequently. The acetone inside the jar evaporated quickly while the lid is off and it will thicken inside the jar to the point where it is almost unmanageable after 1-3 uses. Add a little acetone, stir, close the lid, and wait a few mins to thin the mixture. • Be careful. The mixture sticks to almost anything and will ruin clothes, tools, furniture, carpet, etc. Work with it like you are working with wet paint that can’t be cleaned up. • Similar to paint, multiple thin coats are better than 1 thick coat. You can add a little more if you don’t get the desired results after each application. Removing this stuff once it sets will damage the shell plastic since it is a chemical reaction that literally melts the two plastics together. • Patience is key. If you need the blaster to use any time soon, don’t try this. If you aren’t patient in general, don’t try this.
Good luck!

2023.05.30 20:25 BigfootSanta Ran my first (great) session of Blades in the Dark yesterday!
Hey!
Yesterday, I ran the first part of my “Tangletown Tango” Score (it’s kind of a score, kind of not). Basically, many of the factions and notable people of Doskvol gather every year at Tangletown to hold challenges and competitions and events in a massive all-day party. Because of the success of their previous Score for Bazso Baz (the actual first session, but it was very short and it was our first time so it was more of a trial run), Bazso vouched for the crew to attend the Tango.
The purpose of this Score was to try and show my players all that the setting and mechanics had to offer by basically doing a “Faction Showcase” so they would want me to run Blades as a full campaign. And it went
great! As I predicted, this’ll take another session to complete, but my players are extremely excited and have already said they want to do this as a campaign!
Some highlights:
• Our Whisper (“The Lamb”), a Tycherosi Doskvol Academy dropout and prophet of a cult, was confronted by their former patron (a witch in the Path of the Echoes) while their face was covered in ember-roasted pomegranate (
art the player drew of the situation).
• Our Cutter won a Billhook fighting match against their ex-girlfriend, Marlene the Unbreakable.
• Bazso Baz smashing his empty whiskey bottle and congratulating our Hound like he was his nephew after the Hound won the Lampblacks’ freerunning competition.
• Australian-accented Silver Nails.
I was really struggling with how to organize this pretty non-linear and sandbox-y Score, until I eventually realized I could use a
flowchart! I’ve actually never made one before and I had to really rush it because the session was the next day (I’ll go in and clean it up soon) but I found that this was truly the best way to have organized this session.
I’m thinking now that it might be good for Scores in general, since having a list of possible complications or events or challenges during a Score is basically all the prep you need, and with a flowchart you can have them connect and lead to other things and such. Obviously not
nearly as prepped as the flowchart above, but just some connected obstacles and NPCs and such might be cool. I’d love to hear what you guys think!
Anyway, I just wanted to share because I had a blast running this session! I think BitD is my new favorite system!

2023.05.30 20:25 beanscrochet No matter what I try, RDR2 will not open.
I feel like I’m going crazy, for 2 days I’ve been trying to run RDR2 on my partners computer via steam and haven’t found any success. Any advice or tips would be appreciated. I don’t believe computer specs/compatibility are an issue as everything is rather recent.
What happens is if I start it from the rockstar launcher or steam, it will launch for a moment and then immediately close and I am able to attempt to launch it again OR it will be “loading” and “run” but nothing will happen and it requires a computer restart to close the rockstar launcher afterwards.
Things I’ve tried while following advice from articles and Reddit posts:
- uninstall/deleting all the files/reinstalling
- run as administrator
- disable antivirus
- updating drivers
- scan integrity on steam
- deleted settings folder
- delete launcher game profile details
- cannot find “version.dll” to delete but I tried to find it
- tried to add game folder to exclusions list but I couldn’t find “rdr2.exe” either, just RDR2 application, not file.
- end/close background programs
Pretty much everything short of going into bios or uninstalling steam. Not sure what to do now.
Thanks.

Tennessee adds another blue-chipper with the commitment of
2024 4* RB Peyton Lewis. Lewis announced his commitment surrounded by Tennessee staff, current commits, and future Vols during the '865 Live' recruiting event in Knoxville over the weekend (last year was called RockyTopalooza). This event was jam packed with other blue chip recruits and included a scavenger hunt, a putt putt golf contest, and a talent show. The Salem, VA native gives Heupel's staff their TWELFTH commitment in the 2024 class choosing Tennessee over Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. Recruiting Notes
- The team rankings do not include Amari Jefferson as a UT football commit but I have included him here due to his baseball commitment to Tennessee. Jefferson has been taking football visits and it is clear that Tennessee will be a finalist.
- 2024 4* ATH Jonathan Echols has announced he is being recruited to play TE at Tennessee.
- '865 Live' Recruiting Event had some very big names in addition to some of the top targets above including...

2023.05.30 20:24 TeslaCoinCoin 2023 - GPU upgrade recommendation
Hi everyone
Over the last 2-4 months, i've been looking into GPUs , in order to upgrade my current build. I'm proud to have chosen a 1060 6GB 5 years ago !
With the latests releases of GPUs, price movements ; i'm wonrdering what would be the best choice for me - for recent or older GPUs.
- You can find my current setup here :https://pcpartpicker.com/list/KM6z2m
- My setup is for 1440p : I don't think that I'll be moving anytime soon to 4K, but who knows what the future holds (but not in the 2-3 years at least)
- Budgetwise (EURO - living in France) : 650€ is the average price that I have in mind. I could go to 800€ only if the move makes it very worth it. I'm also opened to lower budget cards if that makes sense
- Timing: i'm not in a rush, if the market is schedule to change again in the next months, i'm fine with waiting (i couldn't find a simple site highlighting next releases with perf estimations)
- I'm not playing recent releases but it would be nice that when I have a new game to switch to hugh/ultra settings (that i never do)
- Points i have in mind
> Not everycard is 100% compatible with my build, some people could pick that i could lose 5-10% perf. It's OK, i plan to upgrade my Motherboard later on, but doing all at once would be too costly. As long as it fits & launches, it's fine :)
> Power consumption: i'm limited to a 660W power supply, obviously it's tricky not go over currently. It's a budget to upgrade as well
My insights: with the price range I looked at, NVIDIA 4070 is a good contender due to its low consumption & perf, especially at 1440p. I've heard everything about the VRAM issues/limitations. Yes a GPU "futureproof" would help, but it's not a requirement - unless Bloodborne for PC is announced soon and i have to anticipate that .
Thanks !

2023.05.30 20:22 campfiretechnology May 2023 Update: Squashing Bugs, Revisiting Our Roadmap, and Previewing Changes to Come
| Our May Update is Live 🔥 This month, we focused on improving Campfire and fixing bugs across all platforms. Plus, we’re revisiting our 2023 roadmap and giving a preview of some major changes to come! First Up: Our TBRs Are Growing 📚 Campfire authors have no shelf control (and we love to see it 😉) So far this year, you’ve created over 100,000 new projects, and written over 100 million words. That’s actually insane. 🔥🔥🔥 Revisiting Our Roadmap https://preview.redd.it/ufrvf1jmgz2b1.png?width=1280&format=png&auto=webp&s=72f415b989a32a1745bd5c4c4b1484ed69a7f95e What We’ve Done So Far This Year: ✅ Reworked navigation in the browser and desktop app. ✅ Added undo and redo controls to the browser and desktop app. ✅ Added the Calendar Module to the browser and desktop app. ✅ Updated the Timeline Module to make it more flexible on browser and desktop . ✅ Applied hundreds of fixes and minor improvements across all versions of Campfire. Coming Soon Anything listed under “coming soon” is close to release. These are updates we’re actively working on now, and you can look forward to seeing them in the next few months. ✍️ Manuscript Module improvements such as collapsible notecards, more fonts to enjoy, and comment-only mode! 🧭 Improving Campfire as a publishing and reading platform: Changes to public projects and reading them on Campfire are coming soon! (More about this at the end of this post.) In Planning Projects still in planning are a bit further out. We’re still in a design or testing phase on these projects. 🈷️ Languages Module improvements: This is primarily a usability update, where we’ll streamline the tools you already have and update how your conlang is presented. 💾 Save files to your device: Later this year you’ll be able to save files locally and back up your writing on your desktop or laptop! 💰 Get paid for your writing: We’re working on enabling monetization in Campfire! Once it’s live, you’ll be able to sell your writing on Campfire, and support your favorite authors! The current plan is to launch monetization this autumn (2023) with a few of our authors in the United States. We’ll roll it out as an optional feature to everyone in the US sometime in early 2024, and expand to other countries over time. In Concept Anything listed in this section is in a pre-design phase, or just isn't something we can actively work on at the moment. 📱 Reading on Mobile: We’re in the early stages of discussing how you’ll be reading stories on Campfire from your phones and tablets! 🈚️ Languages advanced mode: Advanced mode will contain more ways to construct your conlang. New phonetics and grammar pages will be added, and the script page is getting an upgrade. Major Changes Coming For Published Work on Campfire We're making it easier to browse and find new stories to love on Campfire! Some things to look forward to... 📙 Cover images are now 1068 x 1600px (minimum of 267 x 400px): In the About tab of a public project, project thumbnails are sized and shaped to look more like an actual book cover now! This change will become global later this year. To prepare, we recommend you make it look like a cover for a book, where you can! 🛍 Landing pages and project homepage: We're looking to simplify the experience for readers, so that it's easier for them to browse through stories! Right now, landing on different project pages can feel confusing at times. But we love the creativity that authors put into these, so they aren't going away. You'll still have your custom project setups. 📝 Standardized Module list: In the same vein as above, we'll be making it so that module lists in public projects follow a specific order. This makes it so that content is consistently easy to find for readers! But don't worry, you'll still be able to have your custom set up in Write. In Planning & Concept: These are other things our team is actively working towards, but we can't give away too much just yet. 📚 Series: We're looking to add a way to better set up series on Campfire! 📈 Analytics: We're hoping to add reading analytics for writers and readers. Campfire is Growing! There are a lot of exciting changes in the works. So many, in fact, that our team has had to expand! Recently, we've welcome these awesome folks to our team 🔥 - Denise is our newest designer, who will be helping create and test some of our in concept projects.
- Emory will be helping us with customer support and running exciting events, contests, and workshops for all of you our new community manager.
- And last month, we welcome our new Mobile Developer, Pedro! He’s been hard at work on improving the mobile experience.

2023.05.30 20:22 jimbobbypaul Ranking the Top 131 FBS Programs of the Last 40 Years: 87. Nevada
Main hub thread with the full 131 rankings The year was 1976. Nevada, coming off a 3-8 year in Division II, hired a little known assistant from UNLV to be their football coach. He had returned to his alma mater where he played QB just 8 years prior. Chris Ault. Ault oversaw 2 transitions: From Division II to Division 1-AA in 1978, then again to Division 1-A in 1992. Ault was a wild success, running his patented pistol offense, making the Division 1-AA playoffs 7 times in 14 years, with an overall record of 122-47-1. Their final year in 1-AA, 1991, they overcame a 35 point 2nd half deficit against Weber State to win 55-49. Backup QB Chris Vargas led the comeback, and would become known as “The Comeback Kid”. He also donated part of his lungs to his brother-in-law in 2000. Be like Chris Vargas.

- 26 NFL players drafted
Nevada’s been in the FBS since 1992, so 31 seasons played since 1983. They were previously in the FBS (Division 1) from 1946-50, but that doesn’t fall under the 40 year timeline here. In their 31 seasons, they’ve made 17 bowls, which is 55% of the time. 7 titles means they win their conference 23% of the time. 5 titles came under Ault, the College Football Hall of Famer and easily the greatest coach in school history. Top NFL players include QB Colin Kaepernick, WR Nate Burleson, and OT Joel Bitonio.
Top 5 Seasons
Worst Season: 2000 (2-10 overall, 1-7 WAC) New conference, new coach, new lows. Nevada moved from the Big West to the WAC with Chris Tormey, who previously went 32-23 at Idaho. There were early struggles, with a 7-36 loss to Oregon, 10-41 to #22 TCU, and 14-45 to Colorado State. They did get a 35-28 win over Wyoming. The season quickly got away from them though, after a 7-38 loss to rival UNLV. Cormey would go 0-4 against UNLV in his 4 years, which was inexcusable. Nevada got a late season win over Rice, but finished off with a brutal 3-38 performance vs Tulsa. Nevada finished last place in their new conference. Sophomore WR Nate Burleson was a breakout player though, with 921 receiving yards. Burleson went on to be an All-American in 2002, leading the nation in catches with 138, for 1629 yards and 12 TD. He was drafted in the 3rd round in 2003 and went on to have a solid NFL career and is an even better media personality than football player.
5. 1994 (9-2 overall, 5-1 Big West) Chris Ault was in his 18th season at the time, with 1st year offensive coordinator Bobby Petrino. The two made magic happen, ranking 3rd in the nation with 37.6 PPG. Nevada started 9-1, with the only loss to Boise State, who was in Division 1-AA at the time. Boise would join Division 1-A in 2 years, but in 1994, was a division below and went 13-2 and made the title game. Nevada had rolled through the rest of the Big West, mostly beating teams that finished with losing records, but did beat 6-5 Pacific 38-26. Heading into the final week, Nevada had already won a share of the Big West title, but faced rival UNLV, who was 5-4 (4-1 Big West) and looking to get a share themselves. In the most hyped game between the two ever, UNLV pulled off the upset, winning 32-27 in a game now known as the “Red Defection”, which I talked about in UNLV’s post. Nevada still finished the year 9-2, with a share of the Big West title. QB Mike Maxwell led the NCAA in passing TDs, throwing for 3537 yards 29 TD 15 INT. RB Marcellus Chrishon ran for 1000+ yards in just 9 games, and WR Alex Van Dyke, a future 2nd round pick, caught 98 balls for 1246 yards and 9 TD.
4. 2020 (7-2 overall, 6-2 Mountain West) Nevada was expected to be a solid team in 2020, returning talented young QB Carson Strong. Because of covid weirdness, their schedule was anything but regular, and ended up playing all 8 regular season games against Mountain West opponents. Because of this, there was little room for error. They did as well as they could, starting 4-0, set to face 3-1 San Diego State, who was the division favorite. There were no divisions this year because of covid, but SDSU was still a favorite to qualify for the title game. A 26-21 lead heading into the 4th for Nevada held for the final 15 minutes, and they improved to 5-0 with a conference championship appearance in sight. At 6-1, they’d unfortunately lose 20-30 to an upstart 5-0 San Jose State team that would go on to win the Mountain West. Nevada still made a bowl, beating 6-5 Tulane 38-27 to finish 7-2, and 34th in my rankings. QB Carson Strong won Mountain West OPOTY, completing 70% of passes for 2858 yards, 27 TD, and just 4 INT. Many were talking about him as a future 1st round pick heading into 2021. RB Toa Taua, brother of legendary Nevada RB Vai, had a solid year with 675 rushing yards in 8 games, earning 2nd Team All-MWC. Toa went on to have a consistent 5-year career in which he amassed 3997 rushing yards, 4th in school history only to his brother, Chris Lemon, and Colin Kaepernick. Strong formed a strong connection with WR Romeo Doubs, now on the Green Bay Packers, who had 1000+ receiving yards and 9 TD in just 9 games. Overall, 10 players made 1st/2nd team all-conference.
3. 1995 (9-3 overall, 7-0 Big West) This was right after the 1994 season, where Nevada went 9-2 but lost on the final day to rival UNLV, forced to share the conference title. They left no doubt in ‘95, outpacing UNLV 55-32 en route to a 7-0 Big West season and sole owners of the title. In week 3, 2-0 Nevada hosted Gary Pinkel’s Toledo, losing 35-49 in what previewed the bowl game later on. After then dropping a game to SDSU to fall to 2-2, Nevada averaged a whopping 48.4(!) PPG in their last 7 regular season games, going 7-0 with wins over 2nd placed Southwestern Louisiana and 3rd placed Utah State. That set up a rematch with Toledo in the bowl, who was now #25 and 9-0-1. In the first overtime game in college football history, Toledo won again, this time closer at 40-37. Gary Pinkel completed an undefeated season with the Rockets, while Nevada finished 9-3. The offensive numbers were again staggering, even better than 1994. Nevada ranked 3rd in the nation in PPG with 43.4. QB Mike Maxwell led the NCAA in passing yards with 3611 (in just 9 games!) and 33 TD to 17 INT. WR Alex Van Dyke had an unbelievable year, with 129 catches for 1854 yards and 16 TD. In just 11 games! If he played a 13 game season like teams do today, his stats would extrapolate to 152 catches for 2191 yards and 19 TD.
2. 1996 (9-3 overall, 4-1 Big West) As you can tell, Nevada was balling from 1994-96. New head coach Jeff Tisdale, a former All-American QB for Nevada in the 70’s, took over for Ault, who continued in his role as Athletic Director, which he had been in since 1986. There was no drop off offensively, averaging 42.9 PPG (2nd in the nation), but the defense gave up 8 less PPG, going from 31.2 allowed in 1995 → 23.8 in 1996. QBs John Dutton and Eric Bennett alternated throughout the year, coaches trying to decide who was the right fit to take over for Mike Maxwell. Both were solid, and combined for 3907 passing yards 34 TD 11 INT. Nevada started 1-2 with losses to Pac-10 opponents Oregon and Cal, but then started to wipe through the schedule. Nevada went 7-1 the rest of the way in the regular season, with 25+ point wins over UNLV, Boise State, North Texas, New Mexico State, Utah State, and Arkansas State. The only Big West loss was 15-24 to Idaho, who finished 3rd in the conference. Nevada tied with Utah State at 4-1, sharing the conference title, but got the better of them in a 54-27 win. An 18-15 win over 8-3 Ball State in the bowl clinched Nevada’s first ever bowl win, and they now have 5 more since. LB Mike Crawford nabbed the game-sealing interception, and was the game’s MVP, logging 14 tackles and a forced fumble to go with the INT.
1. 2010 (13-1 overall, 7-1 WAC) I said that Kansas might be the team with the most obvious “best” season, but Nevada’s up there too. This was a dream season, almost like a Hollywood script. Nevada was a very good team entering 2010, picked to finish 2nd in the WAC, but EVERYONE was picking Boise to win the conference. Not just the conference, but to possibly contend for a national title. That’s what the Broncos did, starting 10-0 and #3 in the nation, getting as high as #2 at one point. Back in Reno, Nevada expectedly started 2-0, setting up a Friday night game hosting Cal. I remember watching it, a Cal fan at the time, hoping the Bears would improve to 3-0, but Colin Kaepernick and RB Vai Taua ran all over our defense, posting 299 rushing yards between the two of them in a 52-31 win. A 27-13 win at BYU the next week put Nevada in the AP Top 25 at 4-0. They’d beat up on bottomfeeders UNLV and San Jose State before heading to Hawaii, but lose a trap game to the upstart Rainbow Warriors, who won 27-21 with almost no one watching the 11:30 PM EST start time game. Nevada kept their focus though, and won 2 more to get to 8-1 and back up to #21. A win over 6-2 Fresno State, a traditional WAC power, was huge, with the Wolfpack taking a 35-34 lead with 5 minutes remaining. After a 52-6 win over New Mexico State, the Wolfpack were 10-1, and #19 in the nation, having one of the best seasons in school history.
Then came the Boise State game. Nevada had finished 2nd in the WAC for 2 straight years, unable to get over the Bosie hump. Boise State was the class not just of the WAC, but of all the non-AQ schools in the BCS era. They were the team that finally had a chance to break not into just a BCS bowl, but the national title game. Nevada was the home team and wasn’t going to just lie down, but this Boise team was, at the time, the best non-Power 6 team we’d ever seen. Boise didn’t disappoint, galloping out to a 17-0 lead early. Taua cut it to a 10 point deficit in the 2nd quarter, but Boise RB Doug Martin immediately responded with a 51 yard TD run to send it into halftime at 24-7. With the offense stalling, Kaepernick finally broke off an 18 yard TD run on 3rd and 6 with 1:30 left in the 3rd quarter to make it 24-14. Following a defensive stop, Nevada got the ball back to start the 4th. Receiving an end-around lateral 12 yards behind the LOS, with 3 tacklers to beat, WR Rishard Matthews evaded them all and took it 44 yards to the house. 24-21. With 5 minutes to go, Nevada made it 24 all. Boise, who hadn’t scored all half, put the ball in Doug Martin’s hands and let him do the work, taking a screen pass 79 yards for the go-ahead TD. In response, Kaepernick drove the length of the field, 15 seconds to go…Touchdown, Nevada! With 13 seconds left! Will they go for 2…? No.
Boise State ball with 9 seconds to go, both teams preparing for OT. Kellen Moore throws up a PRAYER for Titus Young, nearly 60 yards in the air…and Young LAYS out for the catch, down to the Nevada 10. 1 second left, 26 yard FG, Boise with one of the best kickers in school history, game over. Except it wasn’t. Kyle Brotzman hit it wide right. OVERTIME. The stadium was shaking. 3rd & goal in overtime for Boise, incomplete. Brotzman comes back out, this time from 29. WIDE LEFT. As Joe Tessitore put it, “this is turning into a disaster”. On the other side, Nevada kicker Anthony Martinez lined up for a 34 yard FG for the biggest win in school history. Right down the middle. Nevada wins it 34-31 in OT, pulling off one of the biggest upsets of the 2010s and winning a share of the WAC title, against all odds. Nevada won their last regular season game against Louisiana Tech and the bowl against Boston College to finish 13-1 and #11 in the AP Poll.
The offense averaged 41.0 PPG while the defense gave up just 21.4. Kaepernick won WAC OPOTY, throwing for 3022 yards 21 TD 8 INT with 1206 rushing yards and 20 TD on 7.0 YPC. Taua was 1st Team All-WAC with 1610 rushing yards and 19 TD, finishing his career as Nevada’s all-time leading rusher with 4588 yards. DE Dontay Moch was in contention for WAC DPOTY, with 8.5 sacks and 13.5 TFL. Overall, this turned out to be a loaded Wolfpack team, with 9 players drafted over the next 3 years, including Kaepernick, who led the San Francisco 49ers to a Super Bowl appearance.
5th Quarter
Do you remember that insane 2010 game vs Boise, and that Nevada team with Kaepernick/Taua? What do you think about Nevada in general, with the success they’ve had running the pistol and Chris Ault’s legacy?

I'm using this formula =IF(ISNUMBER(MATCH("*"&A4&"*", B:B, 0)), "Exists", "Not Found") Which worked when the data did not have commars in them. However the cells are concatenated data containing an ID value followed by ", " and then application name, in A general fromat cell. For example:
12345, Google Chrome
I'm using the formula to compare and find matches between different data sets to find any differences. With the end goal being able to have a list of ID's and Applications with no match.
I wanted to keep the numbers in so I can split the data apart easier at the end.
I would appreciate help with the formula being workable with commars or a way to split out the data without using a Text to columns delimiter.
Thanks!

2023.05.30 20:19 Some-Watercress-1144 Connection failed after 4 retries (when trying to host a private server via port forwarding)
Hi. Yesterday I played nmrih with a friend on a private server just by making sure lan only was unticked. Some random joined because I forgot to set a password, so I left and set a password, then my friend joined no problem, but had to go pretty quick.
Today we went to do it again and have been failing all day to figure out why it is now saying "Connection failed after 4 retries". I eventually decided I would port forward, 27015 to 27018. Nothing changed. Tried typing sv_lan 0, heartbeat and then map/changelevel to restart the server, nothing has changed. We tried connecting to the ip via connect [ip], nothing.
We have just discovered that the server seems to be stuck on LAN only mode, being listed only in the LAN servers of my server list, even when I type these commands and make sure LAN only is unticked, and after the port forwarding. I didn't even port forward yesterday it just worked, so clearly that isn't the problem. What is going wrong? Do I really need to setup Hamachi? Again how tf did it work yesterday?
(reposting this from steam discussions in desperation)

2023.05.30 20:19 Bobby_929 University Of Northampton
I have completed my masters in social work from India and I found this course "Child and Adolescent Mental Health" from UON very interesting. But at the same time it is listed in their website that "The children’s mental health course is not accredited by the BPS or a related body". Does this mean that I cannot practice in a clinical setting after this course?
https://www.northampton.ac.uk/courses/child-and-adolescent-mental-health-msc/ Also, can I know if my masters in social work from India is recognised in UK? Can I get registered as a social worker in UK with my post graduation from India?
Is University Of Northampton a good place to do masters? How is the university and the place?

2023.05.30 20:18 fractionesque Motherboard light no longer on, I can't tell if it's a motherboard failure or a PSU failure.
The PC was working just fine yesterday evening. As usual, I set it to sleep, and when I came back this morning, it had powered off, and trying to turn it back on didn't work. I checked and there was no light on the motherboard which was odd.
List anything you've done in attempt to diagnose or fix the problem.
I tested the power outlet supplying the PSU, which works fine.
I reset the RAM sticks, replaced the CMOS battery just in case, and made sure that the connections to the motherboard from the PSU were still in place.
Despite all that, the motherboard light continues to stay dead and I can't figure out the point of failure otherwise.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

2023.05.30 20:14 GrowPassion My new setup update 8x8
| I tagged it as first time grower, though i had 1 run 3-4 years ago in a 3x3 tent. Building it piece by piece, and today i installed a 16l tank humidifier, 1 wallfan, and 1 rotating fan blowing over the canopy. I had some issues 14 days ago with what i think was pests, small White and some Black spots all over, couldnt see and identify properly with s22 picture and zooming. So i made a recipy i found online with veg soap and veg oil+water. I sprayed whole plants and top soil 2 times with 3 days apart. They got all the spots you can see now the day after, and i removed the first set of leaves on almost all in the big Pots. The last week or so they have been bouncing back with straight leaves on most and I hope im back on track! I think i May have some ph problems also? I was waiting for new fertz, so I mixed 3 year old Micro and grow ph perfect, 1ml pr liter, and used 2l all in all spread out over these plants. which could have been made worse by the soap pest mix? Anyone know if ph perfect will stop autocorrecting ph by itself after a certain amount of time stored? My tapwater was used with ph perfect advanced nutrients for a whole run without ever testing ph or ph problems 3 years ago. Next on my list to buy is ph meter and EC meter just to be able to meassure and correct if needed. My new fertz arrived and I made first watering 4 days ago with 1ml I also need to get 2 or 3 6inch smart inline fan with Carbon filter to make surere there will be no smell outside for flower. And another 1000w fc-e or 800 w to fill the rest of the tent with lighting and plants for the next grow. The big Pot ones is 4 and a half week old, and the small ones are 2 and a half week old, they must have been stunted pretty hard hopefully im on right track again now! My humidifier (with sensor on back) says 60% RH and my meter in middle of canopy says 45% submitted by GrowPassion to microgrowery [link] [comments] |
2023.05.30 20:13 TinyAsianMachine Struggling with anxiety over the possibility that my father isn't my bio dad.
Long story short, the closest relative I have on 23andMe is a 2nd cousin once removed who shares the same Y-DNA haplogroup as me (the only one out of all 1500... yes I checked them all). The problem is he has a different last name. I tried messaging him but he did not respond. Unfortunately this drove my anxiety through the roof and I resorted to looking for his and his parents birth records/immigration documents through various online sources. I didn't want to do it, but my emotions got the best of me. I found no evidence that he has any relation to me/my grandfathegreat-grandfather other than his appearance being quite similar to my grandfather.
The other thing that set me off is the fact that not one person in my relatives list has ancestry from the area of the country (Europe) where my father is from. It is a podunk place without many people interested in these sorts of tests, however it does have a diaspora in Australia that I thought would be more active. I have numerous relatives on my mothers side due to the immigration to the US/Australia.
I'm tempted to press my family a little to find out more but then again I don't really have any reason to as it won't change anything now.
Ugh.
