Easter egg shadows of evil

I thought I would test ChatGPT's powers of creativity. I always thought there should have been a different sub-plot where Mary avenges Anna by going after Mr. Green herself. This is what the AI engine came up with when I asked to write a plot line for it. I think her learning combat skills is a bit over the top and out of character, but I like it otherwise. What do you think? And what would you change?

Literally what is this game now. They forced an update on me and now it's got a bunch of animals and eggs and stuff that isn't words...
Anyway are they good for anything?
I'm just going to ignore them if they don't provide any benefit during weekend tournaments.

Hello I 19m have my first session alone with my client tomorrow an I am extremely nervous. I only had 3 hours of shadowing with him (barely on hands on) and Im already on schedule with him for the first time tomorrow and regularly after that. let’s just say I am BEYOND nervous. I am confident in my ability to perform the tasks given on my app by my BCBA but I’m just scared Im gonna mess something up or do something wrong or go about something the wrong way if the kid doesn’t listen and ruin the data. Any tips?

INTRODUCTION
I'm running an adventure set in a version of Neverland that I wrote (Neverland: A Fantasy Role-Playing Setting, Andrews McMeel Publishing). It's a hexcrawl setting focused on player-driven choices in a world full of Pirates, Fairies, Mermaids, and more. The following is a quick recap of my group's adventures in case someone wants to see the material in use.
CAMPAIGN MASTER THREAD

MECHANICAL DETAILS
I'm running this for a group of 5 using D&D 5E. Currently level 10.
THE PARTY
Druid (Fairy), Warlock (Tiefling), Bard/Pirate (Human), Monk (Tabaxi), Rogue (Human)
RECAP
The party has recently returned to Neverland after upsetting the Queen of the Fairies and escaping from Elphame. A group of elves seems to be causing trouble on the island so the group is currently gathering intel and resources to build their strength.
SESSION 119
(HEX 09 - The Great Hill)

• A thunderstorm builds and the group heads east

(HEX 10 - The Swamp)

• The storm lets up and the group avoid 5 oversized bugs (Trillobites)

(HEX 11 - Marooner's Rock)

• Another storm but this one has regular lightning strikes and the Bard gets injured
• Midas, the golden catfish, shows up and chats with the group about elves and the tied up bodies he's seen anchored in the southern waters (the Pirates that the group killed and gave to the Mermaids ages ago)
• The group asks him about clams and he tells them where to find some
• Midas leaves, they fight and kill the clams, and the group harvest the pearls (green, violet, and a sort of galaxy looking one)
• The last clam also has a severed bog body head in it
• Session ends with a doll made of corn (Corn Dolly) crawling out of the head and getting captured by the Rogue before it could escape

SESSION 120
(HEX 11 - Marooner's Rock)

• Group rests over the night and at dawn notice the stone statues change position
• The Bard messages the Moss Mother and determines the Corn Dolly belongs to her and she requests they bring it back to her

(HEX 10 - The Swamp)

• While flying to Moss Mother the group (on flying eagles) is attacked by a Giant Mantid
• They easily defeat it and feel bad about it but not so bad that they don't harvest its brilliantly-coloured wings
• After collecting a lot of wing, session ends with the party noticing two Nomads (Cunning Folk) sneaking around the swamp

SESSION 121
(HEX 10 - The Swamp)

• Group ignores the Nomads and Moss Mother sneaks up behind them
• They give her the Corn Dolly and the mummified head and she shares info about the elves (at least 3: one on the ship, one in the mountains one that roams) and she's protecting the southern shores from their influence

(HEX 15 - The Sundial)

• Group flies north, looks for the Crocodile since it's not there (it's creating Spawn in the caves)

(HEX 14 - Gnome Hamlet)

• Arriving at Ragwort & Dindle's, they immediately pretend the Mantis wing was already theirs and thank the group for bringing it back
• There's confusion but after the group goes inside, they explain they're not allowed to help anyone other than Pirates and Gnomes
• Conversation about how to stop the Spiders, they offer to make cloaks from the wing once they feel it's safe
• Group sends a message to Hook saying they know he's in trouble, they want to help and ask to meet
• He says he's busy with guests but they can meet his colleagues in the mountains, west of the Giant's Hill, and hopes they don't run into any trouble
• Session ends with the Warlock scrying on Leg Boat (a boat attached to a bunch Pirate head and a bunch of Pirate limbs) and it's walking around the beach

SESSION 122
(HEX 14 - Gnome Hamlet)

• After leaving the Hamlet the group rests and speaks with Starkey (a Pirate skull they stole very early on and keep forgetting about)
• Starkey is upset, doesn't help much, but does offer to help if he gets taken out of the bag more

(HEX 18 - The Waterfall)

• The party flies northwest and notices, from this height, that the waterfall seems to be moving strangely (the breath of the Croc is causing it to move in waves)

(HEX 21 - The Peaks)

• Circling over the mountains, they see a weird film over part of the rocks ,it looks like mould but looking closer they see it's spiderwebs
• They land at the edge of it and the Druid + Bard sneak in
• They overhear a conversation and see 1 Elf with 2 caged creatures (Camel Spiders)
• Outside, the rest of the party watches a baby creature (a Nathair infant) wander into the web and get snatched up by Trapdoor Spiders before it can call for a parent
• Session ends with the Group reconvening and seeing 2 Nomads wander near the web to investigate

SESSION 123
(HEX 21 - The Peaks)

• Group watches the Nomads poke around and wander away
• Plans are made and they do recon overnight to watch the web and cave entrance
• Nothing until midnight when the Spiders and Elf emerge to look up at the sky (the group correctly deduced they were watching for stars)
• The Elf gets bored, some Spiders leave the web by morning, and the Elf eventually returns to the cave
• Group moves away from the web (walking for an hour) and session ends with them getting attacked by a terrible creature made of shadow (it's THE Shadow)

MISC NOTES

• For determining the colour of each Clam's pearl I had them roll 1D8 and used ROYGBPV (pink instead of Indigo) with 8 being a wildcard
• The group rolled so well when harvesting the Giant Mantid's wing that they can easily make a cloak for each of them and still have plenty left over (to craft or sell)
• I introduced the Shadow as hiding amongst the groups' long morning shadows but a successful perception check discovered it as it emerged before attacking

OVERALL
The Elves are really challenging the group and they haven't even met yet. The giant web and high Spider count made one player say "we may actually die here" so I think the threat is feeling real. That same player is the only one who's voiced interest in speaking with the Elves but the others are keen on straight murder.

I’m thinking along the lines of people who are generally popular and seen as exemplars of good morals and then turn out to be shitty. Think “happily married influencer #281637 cheats on wife” type stuff.

I know people keep Azula very close to their hearts and can't stop fanboying over her, but personally I don't really like her that much;cool villain and that's it. I don't scream and shout when she's on screen. I just go "oh alright". But anyway, my not liking of her may cloud my vision, but she gets like zero character development. Hear me out for one second. Let's start off with her mental breakdown. I feel like it was too rushed. If they established, maybe earlier in the season, that she's worried about the girls betraying her, I would have accepted it. But no, she's only worried that they betrayed her, after they betrayed her. And now we come to Smoke & Shadow. I have little issues with this comic, such as the use of lightning and combat, but that's not important. It's more of Azula's character development, or lack thereof, which annoys me. What do we know about Azula beforehand? a) she's insane b) she's evil c) she hates her mother. Well in the comic, she a) gets delusions of her mother periodically and b) does something like attack or run off due to these visions before c) Zuko retrieves hecalms her down. She does this over and over and over again, yet people call it character development and "redemption arc" (only for the extreme apologists) when she hesitates once before doing the same thing again. In the end, the only thing changed is that she is no longer insane. But the rest is still the same old evil Azula.

My goal here is to get some people I can talk with from time to time. I need help with reducing my social anxiety and bettering my social skills. Things I've been having trouble with would be: using appropriate body language, having things to say, having an interest in others (that one is new), and being consistent with talking.
I understand it’s not best to open up with why I wouldn’t make for a great person to talk to. I just want to be very clear so I get people that are 100% up for it.
I do have few friends that I feel comfortable talking with. My traits they like would likely be my open mindedness, agreeability, helpfulness, and sharing of interesting ideas.

Video games - I play on PC. Stuff like Risk of Rain 2, Resident Evil games, Dark Souls games, Fighting games, and fps multiplayer games.

What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.
Gaming and software development.
Gaming: I haven't played PC games in about a decade, and have a lot of catching up to do. I will mostly be playing older games, with the exception of Elden Ring, and would like to play S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl when it comes out. I don't play any multiplayer games like MMOs or FPSs, and don't plan to.
Development: As a hobby I do a lot of programming. I have some systems with some heavy requirements like running a dozen or more Docker containers and churning through tons of data, hence the 64GB of RAM. I also do some light ML modeling/training. I'd like CUDA support which is why I'm going with nVidia and can't budge on it.
If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, framerate, game settings)
As long as it runs well at 1440p I'll be happy. I don't care about super high FPS. But having said that, I'd like to put game settings on high or better if possible.

About $3000 with a little flex room.
Questions
I haven't built a gaming rig in over a decade, so I'm not familiar with a lot of the brands available nowadays. I used the Logical Increments PC part guide recommendations for a lot of the options. I'm not familiar with TeamGroup, DeepCool, or Seasonic. Reading on this forum it seems like they are good but please leave your thoughts or alternative suggestions! I'm mainly concerned about the Seasonic PSU. I'd like a PSU that lasts a long time, possibly into my next build.
I feel like I might have gone overboard so if you see any place to cut costs that'd be nice. I realize that the GPU choice I've made doesn't fit my expected gaming habits (mostly older games with average FPS), but I want to sort of future-proof myself for the next 5 years or so of offline, single-player gaming on decent settings.

I spent the past week re-watching S1 and I wanted to share my insights. I didn't include any repeatedly discussed theories (Ex. Antlers behind someone, clues that someone might die such as Jackie saying she's cold, etc.) But I do apologize if there are any repeat theories here. Pilot- (The start to my obsession) Not much in this episode that hasn't been mentioned by our awesome sub.
Jackie inadvertently caused two main issues.

• 1- Scoring the winning point for nationals
• 2- The night Shauna got pregnant, Jeff said Shauna's house was closer but Jackie wanted to be dropped off first.

• Flashback Misty was reading The Cheerleader by Ruth Doan. This book is about "the loss of innocence, the growth of passion, and the awakening of ambition."
• Adult Misty tampers with her own car, so her date has to drive her home in the same episode as sabotaging Nat's car so they can go visit Travis together is sabotage queen.

The Dollhouse

• Lottie spotted the cabin but Shauna was the first to enter while Lottie was the last, an allegory to the evacuation initiated by Shauna in the S2 finale, with Lottie smiling happily watching it burn.
• The animal skins hanging in the cabin (35:20) are interesting and possible foreshadowing. I doubt anyone remembered to grab those before the fire - the skins we see in the pilot are more fresh.
• After Van found the porno mags, Akilah asked if guys jerk off at that stuff. Travis lies and says men hate that shit. (He also says sarcastically that you can't even tell what her favorite book is. Funny line because of easter eggs the books in this show provide) but it makes sense that only after 3 days, he would be trying to be on an equal level with everyone, especially in a group with mostly females, after seeing your father die. However, this was the moment when he stopped trying to fit in completely.
• Travis says to Javi (about his father,) "He's the whole reason we're in this hell." We didn't see Javi or Travis in the pilot until the boarding of the plane, where his parents were obviously unhappy. Maybe she wanted a divorce and he took them on the trip while she went forward with that.

Bear down-

• Sammy was amazing this episode. It's before we know about Dark Tai so in every scene he is analyzing Tai to see if she's normal or dark. So creepily well done!
• Young Shauna says she's not meant to handle firearms in this episode, which I think is funny if you've seen S2. She truly is a knife girl.
• Jessica Roberts asks Misty how her road trip went. So she was stalking Misty and Natalie. Maybe she saw what ACTUALLY happened to Travis? (See my notes on Ep 7: No Compass, for a bit more on this)
• Natalie went back to her childhood home to retrieve the cassette for Kevin Tan; I'm crying.
• Shauna re-living her youth with Adam and hallucinating Jackie for the first time was chilling. Jackie says, "someone is gonna get hurt..." and then Shauna sleeps with Adam in his car (not a good sign. Also a callback to her sleeping with Jeff in his car.)
• Adult Misty has a My Favorite Murder and a Caligula mug in one episode? Hysterical.

Blood Hive

• Young Misty watching everyone dance in the attic while standing against the wall trying to clap along is such a callback to the pilot, just watching everyone and wanting to fit in.
• Natalie wakes up Jackie, who says she's cold, wrapped in the allegorical YJ colors- dark blue/yellow. When she gets up, she sees everyone doing chores like laundry and chopping wood, but doesn't chip in. Color theory suggests she isn't acknowledging the severity of their situation.
• Taissa says, "no candy for the dog!" as Simone picks up an electoral postcard from Bill, saying, "we must spill." Looks like Bad Tai isn't as concerned about the dog.
• Travis called the cabin a "blood hive" (Lottie opening the bloody bee hive box in 2x3, anyone?)
• Never noticed how crazy it is that Jackie tells Shauna to put the candles on top of the symbols in the attic for the seance. Girlie was def not afraid. They then cut to a scene with Nat and Misty analyzing Travis's crime scene, and Misty points out that there is a symbol beneath him connected by wax. I guess he did the candle thing that Jackie did? Or... like Natalie says, "he didn't put them there". I'm assuming Lottie's story didn't exactly add up.

• The mention of oil exploration is mentioned for the second time this season, this time in the past with young Lottie on the car radio. • Teen Lottie is seen approaching a plant at (02:11) called Euphorbia tithymaloides, aka "Devil's backbone." It is known to cause skin irritation, inflammation or blisters if you touch it. Reminded me about the random leg ailment Jackie had, given it's a ground plant it could easily rub against her legs. Lottie didn't seem to be affected by it though. Probably reaching here though :)

• While packing the ransom bag (Callie's childhood bag) for the blackmailer, Natalie says to Shauna sarcastically "You're not as sentimental as your hubby?" She could be inferring that Shauna bringing back all her journals is a huge liability.
• Jessica Roberts says, "You may not be sure of Travis's murder but I am." It truly sucks she died before we knew more from her.
• Sad note: Natalie died without ever truly finding out what happened to Travis (unless she believed Lottie).

• A scene opens with a younger LL sitting on the edge of a pool in a Christian summer camp. In the 96 timeline, the pajamas Jackie is wearing when LL tells everyone she's gonna try flying the plane, have a pool pattern- people on floats, people swimming and inflatable swim rings. Cute little detail!

• Natalie saves Travis when Shauna holds a knife to his throat. He reciprocates in S2.
• While tripping, Ben tells Natalie to "go tell Travis how you feel, it could save us all." Maybe they work together making the map that somehow leads to their rescue. Maybe they stay in the same clan. Point is that they need to stick together, and I hope they do.
• Misty uses the same line for Coach to go to Doomcoming with her, as she did with her date in Episode 2, to persuade him to come into her house. "I know you don't like me. I'm not pretty." Girl's gotta get what she wants!
• Misty's little binder of plants is gonna be pretty useful next season.

I'm not on board with "they were dead the whole time," theory but if you are, there are a couple of comments in this episode that might sway me-

• Jackie says "we're all like cabin guy, dead for years."
• Travis says "we're not even here though, are we?"

• Mari is strikingly the first person to wear animal skin as clothes during Doomcoming/ the following morning. She's in the center of the shot A LOT more than normal. She's wearing a wolf skin shawl.
• I'm always mulling over why the bear kneeled down at Lottie's feet. After many rewatches, I honestly think it's because Lottie is wearing Laura Lee's dress, aka the first "sacrifice." An eye-for an eye (Leonard)
• I never noticed that after Van's NDE, she is one who acknowledged and thanked the wilderness for food. For some reason, I thought it was Lottie, but I guess that's because she said the "prayer" and called it a gift from the wilderness. But Van was first to thank the wilderness.
• Love the allegory of Adam on the news about a missing person as Shauna's making popcorn and says she "burned it". That's dark.
• Simone crawling through the bottom air vent to find Dark Tai's hidden room/alter reminds me of the theories of tunnels beneath the cabin.

This post is about something from Hinduism you may not have heard of, which is why I think it is relevant to this sub.

I have been developing a somewhat noxious habit recently. You see, years ago, after my last acid trip led me to a psychosis that landed me in the psych ward, along with federal charges pressed against me (psychosis and airplanes really don’t mix!), I haven’t really had opportunity to experience the psychedelic state again, as it would be obviously too dangerous. But I had noticed that my brain is so… different now, that a mild dose of alcohol, enough to give me a buzz, also landed me in a properly psychedelic state.
So once a week I’ve been going to the corner pub, to get that buzz. Sometimes I mix it up by getting a bottle of wine instead.
One evening, I had drank a tall glass of wine, but it really hadn’t given me that buzz. It’s worrisome how much I wanted the buzz. It feels like I understand how someone can become an alcoholic now. Nevertheless, I went ahead and poured myself another tall glass of wine, meaning I would drink about 4/5 of the bottle on that single night.
I looked at that glass on the counter. Then I suddenly got the urge to tip its entire contents into the sink.
I paused. Where did that come from? I ruminated. I told myself how much I would enjoy drinking this, being all cozy and buzzed in my bed. Suddenly, the part of me saying that started sounding like Gríma Wormtongue whispering in my ear. And I realized that the urge to dump the wine more specifically felt like a pull, a pull upwards inside of me, a pull towards something that shines. And the urge to drink it also felt like a pull, a pull downwards, into darkness.
I let myself be pulled upwards. I grabbed the glass and emptied it entirely. And I was rewarded! Doing this instantly gave me a buzz that lasted a good long while, one not tainted by the dullness of alcohol.
And I realized this was not the first time I had felt the upwards pull. It’s what made me start going to the gym. What made me read Plato, and the Bhagavad Gita, and René Guénon.
Nor the first time I had felt the downwards pull. It’s what made me overeat. To meander on the internet. To isolate myself instead of striving to connect with other people.
Calling these things ‘upwards pull’ and ‘downwards pull’ is gonna get old fast. Since the first one I noticed is the upwards pull, let’s just call it ‘the pull’. The other one is also a pull, but it could also be fairly called ‘the slack’, as it opposes the pull, and slack really is its final destination.
But it’s not so simple as the pull being all good. Or the slack being all bad.
Some time after that I was lying in bed, reminiscing about a video game. I do so love video games. Then the pull yanked me again, the urge this time being to go into my living room in that instant and destroy my PS4. I suppose I didn’t feel the slack that time, unless it is that I didn’t notice it because I instinctively went with it. Maybe Wormtongue seduced me.
Another time, I had really got it into my head that I must go and watch John Wick 4. Even went out on a very rainy night to do so. At one point in the movie, a woman gets killed. That didn’t sit right with me, and I started looking at the movie in a much more dim light. What am I even doing? Is watching this shit really different from going to the Colosseum? And I felt the pull, this time telling me that I should stand up and leave, right now. This time, I also felt the slack: just sink into your seat, it was hard enough getting here, you want to get your money’s worth right? I went with the slack, which led to a very interesting experience with the movie. It was like I saw mankind rising against Ṛta in some kind of planet-wide rock concert mixed with a Brazilian carnival. Presumably, I would have seen something different had I left, something completely the opposite.
The pull is good in a way: it really was the right call to ditch that wine. But it’s also an all-consuming conflagration. It wants you to sacrifice all that isn’t it. It was the pull that made Abraham attempt to sacrifice Isaac, and it was the slack that made him change his mind. It was the pull that made the Aztecs sacrifice around 250,000 people per year.
The pull is yang and the slack is yin. When Jesus said:

And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

maybe he was saying to kill yin? Well, yin, the dark side, doesn’t actually stand for evil. And there is this book called Christ, the Eternal Tao, which I haven’t read, but its mere existence is quite the statement.
And yet, what were the yin aspects of Jesus? He seems pure yang, the light side, which means he was imbalanced, which is ironically as close to a definition of evil as Taoism gets.
But, potentially, Jesus knew this. He did ask, 'Why do you call me good?’, which leads one to wonder what could be wrong about him that he had to reject the label ‘good’. Maybe he dimly sensed it was wrong to say things like ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life’, which is very un-taoist, what with its ideal of leading by not-leading (I have no idea what Christ, the Eternal Tao is on about).
That one really was a hell of a saying of Jesus. Can you imagine a guy looking you in the eye and saying that one to you? It’s honestly a legitimate miracle that he did that and at least some bought it. I wonder if I would’ve bought it. Would you have done so?
The pull and the slack map more cleanly into the Hindu guṇas, which are the 3 essential qualities of everything in existence. These are:

1. Sattva, the ascending tendency, representing balance and harmony and all things good. It’s associated with the color white.
2. Rajas, the horizontal tendency, representing passion, which is neither good nor bad. Associated with red.
3. Tamas, the descending tendency, representing imbalance and chaos and all things bad. It’s color is black.

The pull is sattva and the slack is tamas, and it’s pretty neat that I independently confirmed the existence of these things, because it was only later that I learned sattva is an ascending tendency and tamas a descending one.
I haven’t really described rajas, because most things are rajas, at least in my life. Honestly, I would even file masturbation under that one, as I don’t really feel a descent there, and as it turns out, masturbation is not a big deal in Hinduism, it being seen as a very minor infraction even for people who have taken a vow of chastity.
An interesting thing about the guṇas, is that all three need to be present for there to be a manifestation, that is, a universe, at all: there couldn’t be such a thing as a purely sattvic, or tamasic, world. It would be like positing a one-note melody.
So yin-yang is an incomplete symbol. But it does highlight that interesting feature of yang having a dot of yin, and yin of yang: there is no such thing as all-yang or all-yin. If your right hand offends thee, what you really need is a dose of Taoism! (and maybe some Haldol).
We come back to the fact that, ultimately, pouring that wine down the sink was the right call. Would thrashing my PS4 had been the right call also? The third (and I know, final) time I was in the psych ward, I met a very devout, smiling Christian there. He even got other patients to kneel and pray with him. From interacting with him, it wasn’t clear why he ended up warded, but someone later told me that he had started thrashing all the electronics in his house, and when I asked him about it, he said there were demons in there. I shared that intuition for an instant then, and it’s pretty interesting that there’s this environmentalist Christian named Paul Kingsnorth whose work is all about how techno-capitalist civilization is this machine, the Machine, that we have enthroned as God and is in the process of devouring God’s creation, and the only way out is to renounce technology as best as you can and RETVRN TO TRADITION, though he doesn’t go quite that far with that last part (at least right now) being a former leftist and having a well-educated wife that I imagine would never go along with it.
Paul Kingsnorth is doing a more high-brow version of the behavior that got that Christian warded, and looking at it from another angle, the vibe worshipers over on That Part Of Twitter (better known as tpot) have said that AI art gives them bad vibes, and basically, are you down with this video?

Sattva and tamas, the pull and the slack. It pays to be aware of these things, because ultimately, even though the unbridled pull just leads to insanity, the fruit of the slack, tamas, can be seen in the homeless drug addicts which I see everyday. I don’t believe in a yin-yang balance between these things: it is better to have an overall sattvic tendency, to the degree one can manage it. I don’t believe it’s a matter of submitting to some rules. Someone once told me that true brahmins don’t indulge not because they are suppressing their desires, but because they are truly revolted by the things we would call indulging. I can’t say I yearn for such a state, but should I land in it, I don’t think I would resist it.

I've been v2kd and harassed since April of 2022 when a CHP officer bought the property that I lived in and wanted me to move out. I eventually lost everything, including support from my family members and friends, who they hacked into my phones and called or texted them pretending to be me and made me look really bad. They also had sheriff's deputys or plain clothed employees to physically talk to them and tell them lies about me and fake crimes I didn't comit. They use sound control to make you believe people are saying hurtful comments that they are ACTUALLY NOT saying. It is full control of a person and thier decisions and life. I'm now homeless and at the point of getting hurt or put in jail. The world and EVERYONE needs to know what these evil serial killers are doing and that they need to be stopped. The government pays these people to do this. In Pomona, CA where I live there are about 300 people employed to stalk and covertly harrass me, every single day. I need help immediately and a know how on what to do about this before I loose my life.

I am looking for exorcism help. I have these beings who entered my body at work, of all places. This company was extremely toxic and these beings took a liking to a co-worker there. This was back in 2016. In 2020, they learned to speak fluent English. I can literally talk to them like on the phone. They can also psychically read situations. I do not know what they are. But they are like psychopaths- very manipulative and power hungry, no accountability and no empathy. If they show a nice side, it is really a mask.
They verbally abuse me every day with any and all kinds of disgusting statements. Also they read all my thoughts and emotions. Every time a thought pops up, there is all this drama and chattering, responding to it. SUPER ANNOYING.
And no this is NOT a psychiatric issue. I do not even test for schizophrenia. I saw the assessment questions for this disorder. They have nothing to do with this situation. Also I write for a living and would not be able to create content if this were the case. Psychiatrists CANNOT help. Why? All they can do is talk to me. Talking will not get rid of these beings. And their prescriptions will also not get rid of the beings. There are also dangerous side effects associated with any kind of drug.
I have been to Christians and Catholics for help. They always try to blame my non-Christian path and things like tarot cards and crystals. There are so many other ways demons etc. can enter your life and it always seems like they just want to blame other spiritual paths. If you read the book, "It Didn't Start With You" by Mark Wolynn, you will learn evidence that our lives, our stories, our emotions and our personalities are strongly templated from the stories of our ancesters. I believe these issues with these beings is a template from my family where we do have psychopaths and narcs. I notice a lot of parallels.
Many psychopaths feel entitled to taking things that they want from other people. The person in my family felt entitled to taking money from bank accounts (as just one example). These beings feel entitled to taking my soul, or some soul part. I know this is delusional, but they keep trying (is the problem). They do not like themselves and hope that my stealing my soul/soul part they can become new beings.
All I hear from them is "we hate who we are." I mean, if you hate yourself for doing stupid and harmful stuff, then STOP. However, they do not want to stop.
Can anyone refer me to Christian occult practitioners? Ideally it would be best if they were in Southern California. Remotely, I am thinking that figure candles (representing me) may help. I am doing my own experiments and I am able to shift some energy using this method. But I am just a novice. Plus these beings bother me non-stop. It would really help to have someone to assist. One of their driving factors is simply attention seeking. By me trying to do this work myself throughout the day, I am giving them attention.
As someone who is not really a skilled metaphysician, even I have learned to cast out ( different beings) who cause my neighbor to cough for hours. He literally stops in seconds when I tell them to "get out." They keep coming back. And I keep having to tell them to "get out." I think exorcism CAN be learned.

I do not think any ONE approach will be perfect. But I think it is important to take a scientific approach, testing out different things and noticing the results.
When I was scouring FB for help, I noticed these groups where there are a lot of people suffering from things in their bodies. And no one really helps them. This type of skill is really important. I do not think people should have to suffer. In a perfect world, we should have skilled exorcists who would be able to offer this help for free (or by donation). Exorcism should not be stigmatized as something bad. It's like the police apprehending dangerous criminals so that we can live safely and peacefully. Instead of calling upon Archangel Michael, we should be trying to become more like this archetype to counter evil so that humans can live free.
Also, even though exorcism can be done by Christians and Catholics, I also read that a guy named Apolloneus - The Pagan Jesus? - Apollonius of Tyana - Bing video also did the same miracles as Christ (around the time he was alive). He also removed demons. One of his methods was to write them letters or something. He did not believe in sacrifices because God (and higher gods) are supposed to be an enlightened beings who do not need sacrifices. He simply used his intellect to connect to higher realms of thought and emotion to harness his supernatural powers (instead of getting permission from God etc.)

I was left to assume the dirty role in the breakup, ie to be the dumper, because my ex chose to ghost me and refused to have the hard conversation with me. As a result of my deciding to be the brave one, I have now become the evil person in the eyes of his family and friends (including my dad) for “breaking up with him.” In their eyes, he is this faultless, sweet and kind guy who would never do anything harmful.
And it’s so unfair that no one even bothered to know what happened from my end. No one asked or even wondered what could have pushed me to do something like that when I have always been so open about my relationship with him, I was always good to him and have always been proud of him, though he was far (FAR!!!) from being the perfect guy.
I was actually the one who suffered in this break up. I was left to assume and wonder what went wrong - if it was something I did, or if I wasn’t enough, or if I was deceived into believing my ex actually loved me. I cried for weeks and had to work on mending my broken heart while doing the daily tasks I had to despite the mental and emotional pain I was carrying. Meanwhile, my ex continued to be active in his socmed and couldn’t even send a quick response to me.
I am developing this really strong hate for him and resentment against all these people, unfortunately even my dad, because I feel like they (mostly men) have this “understanding” that by default judges me and disregards my feelings and side on the matter.
They have no compassion and such low EQ. Trying to be positive and strong in this environment is hard but I am determined to remain resilient.
The silver lining is that I have proven once again that I have a strong support system through my solid relationships with equally strong women who have only the best intentions for me and who have stood by me through this really difficult time. I am still lucky and I know I will get through this thanks to them.

When Bungie reworked the weapon system back in Forsaken the game immediately felt better to play in so many ways but the threat of double specials has always loomed. Recently I feel that the problem has reached a boiling point specially for PvE. And now with Darkness element weapons showing up in the kinetic slot the problem only continues to grow. Here's why in my opinion the system needs to return to the way it was in Destiny 1:
• Double specials creates immense power creep and allows players to destroy bosses specially when using shotguns. Many players also use double specials for harder difficulty activities like Grandmaster Nightfall to cheese it and remove all the difficulty and mastery required to succeed in those missions.
• The damage types no longer make sense. Bungie has not confirmed this but I believe they are going to retire kinetic damage from the game in The Final Shape, they will be entirely replaced by Stasis, Strand and [third darkness subclass element] elements. They might still make kinetic exotics when they see fit for weapons that cannot be associated with any of the other elements, weapons like Outbreak Perfected, The Last Word and Hawkmoon since whenever Bungie gives an exotic a non-kinetic element it's usually important for the weapon design and perks. But even if they do this it's still weird how the Darkness elements come first. If any should be first and be at the top it should be the weapons with Light elements, right? But what about the people who roleplay as like evil Guardians and want their Darkness weapons to be in the hands in the menu? It would be simply better in every single way if all elements were present in all slots but the slots were divided by primary, special and heavy.
• We will never get Stasis, Strand and [third darkness subclass] Glaives. This is because for a Guardian to hold a Glaive in the menu Bungie would have to create a special menu animation just for Glaives and Bungie doesn't seem interested in that. So because of an animation issue we will never have a special Strand Glaive. Ironic since we've been building Glaives using Darkness powers.
• Speaking of animations, we have all seen our characters pull out a comically oversized weapon with a single hand making the entire cutscene look very goofy. The final cutscene from The Witch Queen is the biggest offender in recent memory. If only primaries could be shown then it wouldn't be as goofy and immersion-breaking.
If all elements were present in all slots and we had a primary, special and heavy slot(like in Destiny 1) it would immediately create new opportunities and make the game healthier. Yes this would also create possibly OP weapon combos overnight but as if that hasn't already happened... Every person that I have discussed this with agrees that the system is outdated and problematic and it's time for Bungie to do something about it.

I have been developing a somewhat noxious habit recently. You see, years ago, after my last acid trip led me to a psychosis that landed me in the psych ward, along with federal charges pressed against me (psychosis and airplanes really don’t mix!), I haven’t really had opportunity to experience the psychedelic state again, as it would be obviously too dangerous. But I had noticed that my brain is so… different now, that a mild dose of alcohol, enough to give me a buzz, also landed me in a properly psychedelic state.
So once a week I’ve been going to the corner pub, to get that buzz. Sometimes I mix it up by getting a bottle of wine instead.
One evening, I had drank a tall glass of wine, but it really hadn’t given me that buzz. It’s worrisome how much I wanted the buzz. It feels like I understand how someone can become an alcoholic now. Nevertheless, I went ahead and poured myself another tall glass of wine, meaning I would drink about 4/5 of the bottle on that single night.
I looked at that glass on the counter. Then I suddenly got the urge to tip its entire contents into the sink.
I paused. Where did that come from? I ruminated. I told myself how much I would enjoy drinking this, being all cozy and buzzed in my bed. Suddenly, the part of me saying that started sounding like Gríma Wormtongue whispering in my ear. And I realized that the urge to dump the wine more specifically felt like a pull, a pull upwards inside of me, a pull towards something that shines. And the urge to drink it also felt like a pull, a pull downwards, into darkness.
I let myself be pulled upwards. I grabbed the glass and emptied it entirely. And I was rewarded! Doing this instantly gave me a buzz that lasted a good long while, one not tainted by the dullness of alcohol.
And I realized this was not the first time I had felt the upwards pull. It’s what made me start going to the gym. What made me read Plato, and the Bhagavad Gita, and René Guénon.
Nor the first time I had felt the downwards pull. It’s what made me overeat. To meander on the internet. To isolate myself instead of striving to connect with other people.
Calling these things ‘upwards pull’ and ‘downwards pull’ is gonna get old fast. Since the first one I noticed is the upwards pull, let’s just call it ‘the pull’. The other one is also a pull, but it could also be fairly called ‘the slack’, as it opposes the pull, and slack really is its final destination.
But it’s not so simple as the pull being all good. Or the slack being all bad.
Some time after that I was lying in bed, reminiscing about a video game. I do so love video games. Then the pull yanked me again, the urge this time being to go into my living room in that instant and destroy my PS4. I suppose I didn’t feel the slack that time, unless it is that I didn’t notice it because I instinctively went with it. Maybe Wormtongue seduced me.
Another time, I had really got it into my head that I must go and watch John Wick 4. Even went out on a very rainy night to do so. At one point in the movie, a woman gets killed. That didn’t sit right with me, and I started looking at the movie in a much more dim light. What am I even doing? Is watching this shit really different from going to the Colosseum? And I felt the pull, this time telling me that I should stand up and leave, right now. This time, I also felt the slack: just sink into your seat, it was hard enough getting here, you want to get your money’s worth right? I went with the slack, which led to a very interesting experience with the movie. It was like I saw mankind rising against Ṛta in some kind of planet-wide rock concert mixed with a Brazilian carnival. Presumably, I would have seen something different had I left, something completely the opposite.
The pull is good in a way: it really was the right call to ditch that wine. But it’s also an all-consuming conflagration. It wants you to sacrifice all that isn’t it. It was the pull that made Abraham attempt to sacrifice Isaac, and it was the slack that made him change his mind. It was the pull that made the Aztecs sacrifice around 250,000 people per year.
The pull is yang and the slack is yin. When Jesus said:

And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

maybe he was saying to kill yin? Well, yin, the dark side, doesn’t actually stand for evil. And there is this book called Christ, the Eternal Tao, which I haven’t read, but its mere existence is quite the statement.
And yet, what were the yin aspects of Jesus? He seems pure yang, the light side, which means he was imbalanced, which is ironically as close to a definition of evil as Taoism gets.
But, potentially, Jesus knew this. He did ask, 'Why do you call me good?’, which leads one to wonder what could be wrong about him that he had to reject the label ‘good’. Maybe he dimly sensed it was wrong to say things like ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life’, which is very un-taoist, what with its ideal of leading by not-leading (I have no idea what Christ, the Eternal Tao is on about).
That one really was a hell of a saying of Jesus. Can you imagine a guy looking you in the eye and saying that one to you? It’s honestly a legitimate miracle that he did that and at least some bought it. I wonder if I would’ve bought it. Would you have done so?
The pull and the slack map more cleanly into the Hindu guṇas, which are the 3 essential qualities of everything in existence. These are:

1. Sattva, the ascending tendency, representing balance and harmony and all things good. It’s associated with the color white.
2. Rajas, the horizontal tendency, representing passion, which is neither good nor bad. Associated with red.
3. Tamas, the descending tendency, representing imbalance and chaos and all things bad. It’s color is black.

The pull is sattva and the slack is tamas, and it’s pretty neat that I independently confirmed the existence of these things, because it was only later that I learned sattva is an ascending tendency and tamas a descending one.
I haven’t really described rajas, because most things are rajas, at least in my life. Honestly, I would even file masturbation under that one, as I don’t really feel a descent there, and as it turns out, masturbation is not a big deal in Hinduism, it being seen as a very minor infraction even for people who have taken a vow of chastity.
An interesting thing about the guṇas, is that all three need to be present for there to be a manifestation, that is, a universe, at all: there couldn’t be such a thing as a purely sattvic, or tamasic, world. It would be like positing a one-note melody.
So yin-yang is an incomplete symbol. But it does highlight that interesting feature of yang having a dot of yin, and yin of yang: there is no such thing as all-yang or all-yin. If your right hand offends thee, what you really need is a dose of Taoism! (and maybe some Haldol).
We come back to the fact that, ultimately, pouring that wine down the sink was the right call. Would thrashing my PS4 had been the right call also? The third (and I know, final) time I was in the psych ward, I met a very devout, smiling Christian there. He even got other patients to kneel and pray with him. From interacting with him, it wasn’t clear why he ended up warded, but someone later told me that he had started thrashing all the electronics in his house, and when I asked him about it, he said there were demons in there. I shared that intuition for an instant then, and it’s pretty interesting that there’s this environmentalist Christian named Paul Kingsnorth whose work is all about how techno-capitalist civilization is this machine, the Machine, that we have enthroned as God and is in the process of devouring God’s creation, and the only way out is to renounce technology as best as you can and RETVRN TO TRADITION, though he doesn’t go quite that far with that last part (at least right now) being a former leftist and having a well-educated wife that I imagine would never go along with it.

It pays to be aware of these things, because ultimately, even though the unbridled pull just leads to insanity, the fruit of the slack, tamas, can be seen in the homeless drug addicts which I see everyday. I don’t believe in a yin-yang balance between these things: it is better to have an overall sattvic tendency, to the degree one can manage it. I don’t believe it’s a matter of submitting to some rules.
