I am doing a lot better now. I’d say I’m mostly recovered and am able to manage my symptoms, and suspect that I will be fully recovered at some point this year. Everything is trending that way and has been for months now.
12 months exactly since I got COVID, I’d say my long haul began in June of 2022.
July & August were hell on Earth. Experienced anxiety for the first time in my life. Panic attacks, insane neurological symptoms. At one point, my fatigue was so bad I thought I was going to die in my sleep.
GI issues - lost 30 pounds. Went from being a healthy young 20 year old to bed bound in a matter of months.
Tried a bunch of stuff. Doctors say its anxiety. GI did the full check up, tells me its gastritis and sends me on my way.
After a lot of debate, I began Lexapro for anxiety. It helped with the neurological symptoms. But it’s not the root cause.
I noticed whenever I fasted, my symptoms would decrease or go away.
But the root cause of my long covid and I suspect for many others here, is SIBO.
This is why low histamine, anti inflammatory, total carnivore diets work in long covid.
Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth. MCAS is actually very rare. Histamine producing bacteria is why your body rejects histamine — there is too much, and its fermenting in the small intestine.
In a nutshell, SIBO is caused by slowed/impaired gut motility in the small intestine. There is something called the migrating motor complex which is responsible for “cleaning” the small intestine every time you are about to eat, and after you eat.
Whenever people talk about gut dysbiosis, or the microbiome, they are referring to the large intestine. This is where bacteria is supposed to exist in the body. But when the migrating motor complex is impaired, your small intestine is unable to empty properly, which allows these bacteria to travel up from the large intestine into the small intestine and live there.
That’s why every time you eat, especially things that are highly fermentable or “high histamine” foods, your symptoms skyrocket. Your body is essentially poisoning itself every time you eat.
Now, the cause of SIBO is somewhat a mystery, especially in long covid. I suspect it has something to do with the vagus nerve or Eagle’s syndrome (I am getting tested for this soon.)
Try this and see if you notice any improvement (I am not a doctor. Please consult with a professional, especially if you are in dire health. This is what worked for me.
First thing to do: take 2-3 drops of oil of oregano. This will kill a lot of bacteria in the small intestine. Then:

1. Fast for 24 hours.
   
2. Drink black tea. Gets things moving.
   
3. Cut up ginger, artichoke, and eat it. Ginger and artichoke sparks the migrating motor complex. Or order motility pro on Amazon (which I do, its just artichoke and ginger in high concentrations.)
   
4. Get foot massages, swim lightly, go for a walk. This also stimulates the MMC. Or order a foot massager (I bought one on Amazon for 60 bucks.)
   

You will hear your stomach rumble, which is a sign the MMC is working.
Also supplement magnesium, strengthens nerve connections.
Reduced my symptoms by 80%. This might not apply to everyone, but maybe will help someone. My current symptoms are just jaw pain, and anxiety. Will be testing for Eagle’s syndrome, which could be the cause for impaired gut motility post covid.

All but one (Globulin) I appear to fall inside of but I am keen to determine which need improvement based on Peter's teachings. I recently replaced my beloved 2012 iMac with an M2 Pro Mac mini. I chose not to attempt any migrations, because I tend to be slightly superstitious about baking wrinkles into my projects, and I thought that starting fresh after five years of Plexing on an Intel Mac would be worth the effort since I know so much more now and have transitioned to Apple Silicon. I am in the process of rebuilding my Plex library on the new machine.
I completed my three TV libraries after a few weeks of meticulous building, and have been very pleased with the results of my work. The libraries and collections operate flawlessly, everything is fast, and the computer feels capable. I celebrated with a David Attenborough nature marathon, and then set to work creating my movie libraries. The first one was completed, I had 38 shiny collections lovingly designed, and so I asked a friend to do some beta testing. He said that the movies simply don't work, and sent a picture of his Tizen client with the error message "An error occurred loading items into the play queue".
The movies play normally on LG's webOS, and on Android's NVIDIA Shield at home, but I noticed that notifications in the dashboard and in Varys were delayed, and once or twice failed to show up at all. The movies also work on a Pixel 6, but when I try to play them on my iPhone, I receive a similar error after about ten seconds of spinning: "Couldn't retrieve the play queue for this item. Please try again." When I try to play the movies in Safari on the server computer, it spins forever with no message. On the TV clients that do play them, exiting the film causes a delay, and I have a black screen for about ten seconds before it repopulates the library. On more than one occasion during random testing, PMS crashed and I had to restart the program on the computer.
I did extensive testing on the TV libraries, using multiple devices to just start and stop random items, trying to break something. Everything works perfectly.
I noticed that the movie problem extends to a small test library I made as well, with just a few movies in it. I did the normal stuff I could to rectify the problem: I restarted the computer, and the router. I confirmed that the directories were sound, and that the original media files were healthy. I scanned all the libraries and emptied the trash, cleaned all bundles, and optimized the database. I analyzed and refreshed the metadata on movies I knew were problematic, and tried again. Nothing helped.
I started to worry about a thunderstorm that knocked out power a week ago, while the library was under construction. Could the database be corrupted, hence why the problem seems to have extended to another movie library but not the TV libraries completed earlier? I've never using SQLite before, but I spent two days trying to comprehend the language and then followed a few guides to investigate. Eventually I managed to run the PRAGMA integrity_check; VACUUM; and REINDEX; commands on the database. They came back clean, at some point it said something like "0 errors 0 changes".
Feeling unsure of my competence, and confirming the problem still existed in the same way, I began rolling back the database with backups, until I was a full day before the power outage. The problem was still there at every interval, even on a version from when I only had the first few movies added to the library. I felt my morale dropping as I went through the motions of confirming the problem behavior on each client. Then I restored the database back to the present, saving my last week's work, but no closer to understanding or fixing my problem.
In the last few hours I've tried dozens of searches and read scores of forum posts and comments, as well as familiar pages on Plex support. I tried deleting my Codecs folder and letting Plex build a new one. I found my biggest TV episodes (7 GB each for Lonesome Dove) to make sure it wasn't some kind of temporary folder size problem, but they played instantly on all clients. And then in a haze of experimental desperation, I unmatched one of the movies that won't play on any client except Android, and it played after a short delay. It worked on my phone too. I rematched it, and it still plays. It does not play as quickly as it should, it spins for a few seconds where TV shows don't, but it's probably notable.
Extras saved in the media folders with the movies that don't work play perfectly. Just the movie itself doesn't.
I fear I'm at the end of my abilities. I don't know what to make of the various symptoms, and I don't know what to do next. I don't know why there is a problem, or why it is manifesting they way it is, and so I don't know how to trust anything moving forward. I'm rather hoping that someone smarter will have a good idea, or will recognize the issue. I have a long way to go before my media is 100% rebuilt, and I've spent a considerable amount of time and research trying to create a robust Plex server. Without knowing why this is happening, why it only affects movies, and why it behaves so bizarrely, I fear I will cause the problem to reoccur, even if I burn my work so far and start again.

So for some information, this is a throwaway account for anonymity and this is located in British Columbia Canada.
About 2 years ago a new set of apartments were built in my town and I managed to get one before they were even done building. Since moving in there’s been a whole array of nightmares with these places. To name a few: the kitchen lights overlooking the bar don’t work unless you jiggle around the lightbulbs, the toilet was placed so close to the wall I was unable to tighten the water hose, the elevator has broken down at least 15 times, and of course the newest issue, The fire alarms. We get almost weekly “fire alarm tests” with a minimum of 1 test a month and so we asked about it and the landlords said there’s no end in sight for the fire alarm tests. The reason for this is because there’s not enough voltage in every unit for the alarms to go off as needed (they work in the lower floors but worsen as you go up).They also found a failed booster pack during a routine check which they attempted to fix once but never did apparently. I could honestly write a book on all the stuff that’s wrong with these places but due to the severe housing crisis we’ve been unable to find new rentals despite over 8 months of searching so unfortunately moving isn’t an option. So the question remains, is this legal? It feels insanely unsafe. Residents were not informed whatsoever and the only reason I know all of this is because my landlord told me. In all honesty I like my landlord and it’s honestly not her fault for any of this because she only took over from the other landlords who had to stop being landlords because of legal issues.

Hello all. I'm going to start this off with some context so please bare with me, apologies if it is boring/considered irrelevant.
In the early months of this year (2023) I had a big ol' health scare. I went for a routine eye check. I've been wearing glasses for concentration tasks since I was around 12/13 years old, but don't need them 24/7. During this regular eye test they discovered that my optic discs were severely swollen....like I would go blind real soon swollen. So off I trot with a referral to opthamology. There I discover I have lost a huge chunk of my peripheral vision already.
The scare comes in because for my age & height/weight (32, 5ft10/1.77m, 11st/150lb/69kg) this absolutely shouldn't be happening for no reason, which means brain tumour or aneurysm. So I get to spend 16 hours in MDU (Medical Decision Unit for those outside the UK) waiting for a CT scan. It's clear but they are unhappy. Drs send me home for a couple of hours kip, come back for a lumbar puncture. After another 10 hour wait in MDU they finally admit me onto the neurology ward so I am at least in a bed and will have my lumbar puncture the next day. I have it, clearly have excess fluid on the brain and as nothing showed on CT scans no one knows why still. Official diagnosis is Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension. Essentially brain pressure for no reason. Usually seen in severly overweight patients.
This brings me onto why I am here. I am now on meds to try to bring this pressure down, namely Acetazolamide and Topiramate. The acetazolamide particularly has a severe depressive side effect. More than 1 in 10 patients experience it, and I appear to be one of them. I do not remember the last day I had where I didn't cry. I can barely drag myself out of bed in the morning. I can only bring myself to shower maybe once a week if that, and hair washing half that time.
All of this is exacerbated by the fact that I lost my job due to my hospital stay. They fired me for three days in hospital. I'm 100% sure this is not legal but I cannot find the mental energy to fight it, so I am also feeling super overwhelmed with financial stress and the burden of finding new employment. Luckily my husband and my parents are being incredibly supportive, but I still feel guilty and useless.
I'm also super brain foggy all the time. Can't remember simple words or phrases, or I forget peoples names. Stupid stuff that should be second nature is alien to me.
My self esteem has been ripped away. I look in the mirror and all I can see is a shell of who I used to be. I look drawn and pale, sick and ugly. Useless.
I guess this whole post was just something to get off my chest really. I feel like a huge burden to the people around me and I don't know what else to do anymore. Sorry for the wall of text, and thank you for reading my rambling if you got this far.

1. Withdraw System Updates: Development is still researching and updating a bug in the txout withdrawal system. Will update community as soon as we fix and test new system.
   
2. New Frontend GUI: The NT team was given a sneak peak at the latest progress of the new frontend GUI. However, most features do no work at this time. We will provide an update to community once most of the features are functional.
   
3. Debt Clearance Cycle: Development has been able to reduce the time needed to complete weekly debt clearance cycle. Debt clearance only takes about 24 hours now instead of 48 hours. This means that you now have six full days each week to engage in trading activities. In the future we will have the ability to review and potentially reduce even more if conditions allow it.
   
4. Alec is busy integrating a new DAO for our business operations. This will provide protection and flexibility to the NightTrader exchange.

When Hispanics claim asylum, they're fleeing the consequences of their own failed behavior - they are literally refugees from themselves. It's not like there is some ecological disaster or major war. They simply ruined an entire continent. You don't land in San Salvador and suddenly feel compelled to breed five unnecessary children and behead your rivals. Their sick culture does that.For Latin America to improve first the people there have to admit that THEY ARE THE PROBLEM and only after accepting how utterly disgusting they are and making a true societal push to change will they ever be elevated out of the cesspool of human misery they've created for themselves.

playing with invictus, gregorian dates, better UI and More cultural Names for Invictus. i’m about 250 years in and have had a few minor crashes before, but loading the game fixes them right away. now, every march 15, 697, my game crashes. i’ve loaded saves, verified the game files, looked online. no luck
verifying the game files possibly helped, i made it to april after not moving any troops or pressing any buttons until the crash date came and went. i thought i was safe so i moved some units and zoomed out and it crashed about a month later.
