And as I recognize this is important to some people, I do not drive, my eyesight is very poor and as a result, I cannot legally drive, this, however, does not stop me from living an entirely independent life, most people don't actually know/can't tell until I tell them that I cannot drive.
Personal Interests: I love hanging out with friends and doing who knows what, I will admit that I am a bit of a homebody but my greatest joys in life are typically with other people, doing pretty much whatever. I am sober as in I do not drink or smoke but totally cool if you do as long as it is responsibly. I love going to thrift stores, eating great food, and really just exploring. I'm pretty nerdy in that I would say my single favorite thing to do is learn be that via YouTube videos, Reading or just getting out and trying something new, Psychology however is what interests me most and I could spend hours and hours talking about the weird ways people act and why. I also really enjoy movies and would love to know your favorite, I love anything funny or scary, and the Shrek series has a special place in my heart.

We got a buy one, get one free sale right now.” Freakin’ score! I went and purchased two dresses of the same size. I also managed to find an extra secret surprise for Chalta when we get to Disney World this weekend. I’m always fed, and humans are also surprisingly warm to be around. If the socialization gets to be too much I can just politely leave and they’re okay with it. After me and Samuel had gotten… acquainted, I had gotten a taste of the love humans offered. I realized for the first time in my life that I was missing something, genuine love. Not obligatory or fake love many of us would emulate for benefits, but real love.” Vraka’s voice started to tremble ever so slightly. She didn’t look like she was about to cry, but she sounded like she was fighting a tear. “Little by little everything that I believed about strength and usefulness, about sentience and betterment, was broken down into nothingness. For everything we’ve done, I’m sorry.” Salisek let go of my waist, and with minor hesitation, embraced Vraka. Vraka looked like she wanted to return the favor, but she looked as though she was debating her worthiness of it. “I can’t forgive every Arxur, and I don’t know if the thought of what you’ve done will ever leave my mind, but I know Arxur can show love. They can show regret, sadness, fear, and empathy. I don’t even know if I should, but I want Chalta to grow up in a world where she doesn’t need to hate who she is. If I want that, then maybe I need to break some barriers and accept some people can change.” A small, singular tear found its way down Vraka’s cheek and onto Salisek’s fur. “W-what?” “I… forgive you.” Vraka finally accepted the hug and pulled Salisek in for a strong embrace. “Th-thank you. Hi, joined the sub a while ago but it’s my first time posting. I don’t even know what I’m looking for with this post, maybe support, or help, or maybe I just need to vent.
SO and I have been married for 3 years. We have recurring fights about chores around the house. I’ve asked and begged him to help more. I work 40 hours a week outside of the house, he works the same hours from home. I come home to dishes in the sink, dishwasher full, I’m the one who does laundry, cleans, vacuums, whatever it is. Sometimes he goes to the grocery store, most time it is me tho. He started cooking more because I asked, but that is maybe once a week, and I have to clean after. While when I cook, I also clean. I’m tired of asking, because I did so many times, but his argument is that he’s not a mind reader, so how is he supposed to know he needs to unload and load the dishwasher? How is he magically supposed to know laundry needs to be done? He’s never done those things in his life so it’s wrong of me to expect him to just magically do them now. So I have to ask every time. But sometimes when I ask, things don’t get done anyway because of whatever reason works for him in the moment.
Am I insane to think that this is crazy? Am I in the wrong to get upset by this, or am I, like he says, setting him up for failure because I expect him to be a mind reader? I need a reality check.

Worked at a gas station owned by a grocery store for a very long time. We had little pouches attached to the clips for our name tags. I found out one day that said pouch was just barely big enough to put one of our orange clearance tags in. It had an arrow that was supposed to point up towards the item name, but instead, it pointed up to my name.

I'd never seen him before but this wasn't my first time handling a mobile hoarder.
He putzed around the store a bit, made his selection and came up to my pay counter. I made the usual small talk with him ('Hi, how are ya?' 'How was your day?') but he wasn't particularly chatty so I didn't press further. I had just finished scanning his items and was about to ask if he wanted a bag when he spoke first.
"How much?" He asked. After confirming with my register I told him the price of his items. I can't remember how much it was exactly but it couldn't have been any more than $15.
He goes, "No. How much." Then points to my name tag/the clearance tag. Realizing what he meant I laughed and told him $1 million, like I did everyone else.
Completely stone faced and without skipping a beat he asks, "Would you take $250,000 cash?"
"No, sorry. $1 million is already the discounted price." I tried to awkwardly laugh it off, wanting nothing more than for this man to leave.
He continued to give me his dead eyed stare before responding. "Damn. Wish I had it then you'd be coming home with me tonight."
Bruh, what? Do you mean out to the parking lot where your rolling cesspool awaits?
"Yeeah." I kind of nodded. We finished the rest of the transaction and he sat in his car staring at me through the plate glass window for about 10 minutes before finally oozing away. I took the clearance sticker out of my nametag pouch and never looked back.

This is the 6th or 7th time I’ve been on the phone with Apple support now and it’s the same cycle of them telling me exactly what I already know and have read on the apple support website. I understand that they do not have any power to speed up the waiting process, but it gets frustrating when there is no other option to move things along especially when I can easily prove my identity. I have even tried going to the Apple Store and they just tell me to call apple support.
When I first tried to reset my password it wouldn’t let me even though I used my passcode to my phone and the verification codes sent to both my phone number and email. Then it told me to wait 72 hours for an email and it will have directions. I got that email and it told me I had a 4 day waiting period claiming that I will receive a call or text with specific directions to reset my password and get out of account recovery mode. I never received that call or text. Once I was past the 4 days, I called apple support again and heard no different of what I needed to do in order to reset my password. This has process repeated itself 6 times now and now I’m up to a 14 day waiting period.
Apple support tries to tell me to turn off my device and not use my device for 14 days to ensure that the device doesn’t “fall out of recovery mode”. I am really not sure how they expect me to not use my device when it is needed for my job and for personal emergencies. This seems like a ridiculous request to make when I have given several items of verification.
This has been an extremely tiring process over these last months having extremely long phone calls with apple support that just go in vicious cycles of them telling me what I need to do when I’ve already explained to them that I have been through the process 6 times. It seemed like I didn’t even have an option to reset the password before I was quickly entered into account recovery mode. I have started to become discouraged in this whole process as Apple seems to have made it nearly impossible to reset my Apple ID password.
I understand and appreciate the security they have placed in order to protect my private information. I understand it’s my fault for forgetting my password. But when I have provided several forms of verification and would gladly provide more, it seems like a 14 day waiting period is beyond excessive. Especially when I have already waited 14 days twice and have not gotten any phone calls or texts explaining how I can reset my password. I got off the phone after a 45 minute phone call today and it feels like the last straw. Please let me know if you there is any advice you might have.

I’m 4 months PP and wanted to share a positive (for me at least) birth story. I had a high amount of intervention but they whole experience was very calm and respectful. The worst part was the cannula in my hand getting blocked!
My waters broke at 37 weeks around 1pm (when my dad was visiting of course) after a morning of cleaning the house. I was not ready for how much water came out, how much it kept coming out and the weird smell!
I went into the hospital for a scan etc and they said I could stay or go home and wait for the contractions to get closer together. I chose to go home because we had beef slow cooking for tacos and I knew it might be a while before we were up to cooking nice food again!
LO was facing posterior and so I spent the evening trying positions that would spin him around.
The contractions were tolerable until I tried laying down and so I didn’t get much sleep. At 2am I couldn’t deal with it anymore so we went back to the hospital where they told me to sleep until morning in a room there and then the OB would see me in the morning to review.
I was started on Pitocin because while I was having contractions it wasn’t really going anywhere (common with posterior facing babies). They were very gentle with the dose and so I didn’t find the contractions as severe as others have reported. I used a TENS machine through the contractions which helped but got a bit tricky to use once things became more intense. I was having back labour and having my husband push/massage my lower back during contractions really helped. When I couldn’t manage the TENS machine anymore I switched to gas which I found worked well after they increased the concentration a bit. At some point I had to go throw up.
Around midday they offered epidural if I wanted it before shift change at 2pm. I got them to check how dilated I was first and they couldn’t even check yet because my cervix hadn’t moved into the correct position. (I have a retroverted uterus so not sure if that was why). As I had already been in labour for nearly 24 hours and the finish line was ages away I decided to go with the epidural so I could get some rest. The first time it didn’t work and so they had to redo it a bit higher. It still wasn’t perfect and I could still lift my legs but it was enough that the pain reduced and I could sleep. At 5pm the OB came to check on me and I was 9cm dilated but he could tell that baby would not fit through as he never moved from posterior position and was now showing mild distress. So I needed to go in for a c-section after all that.
I needed to get a spinal block because my epidural wasn’t effective enough. The c section itself was fine and all worth it to hold my baby boy.
LO had low blood sugars and so was tube fed formula and expressed colostrum for 2 days, then we were able to successfully commence breastfeeding.
I’ve found the healing process fine. The first few days were pretty bad and no one told me I wouldn’t be able to feel when I had to pee so I think distended bladder was half of my problems!

I am currently licensed in Idaho. I have completed the Walgreens tech in training “class” and just passed my PTCB. my application for certified tech is in process with Idaho BOP. My question is, does anyone have advise on how to transfer over into Washington state? There is a store much closer to where I live now and would like to pick up some additional hours. I download the Washington application but I’m not sure what applies to me as far as the class being traditional schooling or on the job training? I have a certificate from Walgreens for the tech program. If anyone has gone through this process I would appreciate some advise. None of my team in Idaho know what I should do.

After getting one of my brand new KA3 miners repaired by Bitmain (due to a damaged hash board) I am facing a new problem, with all three of my miners. I run them for several hours and everything looks good, then suddenly hash rate drops down to 0 and stays at 0 until I manually reset them. Then they work again for a bit. But I can't get them to run for more than one day without this happening again. Sometimes it happens within a few minutes, and sometimes it runs for several hours, but no longer than that. And they don't always drop at the same time, they seem to drop down at completely random times.
I have been going back and forth with Bitmain and they haven't been very helpful to be honest. First they told me it was a network problem. I investigated everything I could related to my network connection: the mining pool, my routemodem, my firewall, my Ethernet cable connections. Then after spending so much time on that, I followed up with them again and, after re-checking the kernel logs, they are now saying my voltage is unstable. I have metered PDUs and the voltage on all miners is fine, it stays at 240V. I tried to investigate what else this kernel log error could be caused by:

 | Hi all submitted by No-One57 to pools [link] [comments] I have a slow sweat/drip from the gasket on the chlorinator saddle fitting. I bought a new fitting and replaced it but still sweats... Its a very slow drip (one drop per couple of hours) but it bugs me.. its on flex pipe which i guess isnt ideal but it was like this when i bought the house and store confirmed that fitting should work on flex pipe too. Maybe the pipe is bent out of shape on one side? Any ideas? |

My realization is less than 24 hours here, please bear with me.
My fiancée and I have both acknowledged within a year of two of us dating that her mother has BPD. The typical traits of fear of abandonment, unstable relationships, walking on eggshells, cheated on her ex-husband, splitting, visceral reactions to inconsequential events, suicidality etc. We both acknowledged that mother has undiagnosed BPD and over the years my fiancee has developed boundaries to allow her mom to not impact her as strongly.
I disassociated how my fiancee could potentially have the same disorder as mother in law.
After proposing to my fiancee, I just viewed the conflicts between us as normal. Every relationship deals with ups and downs felt inconsequential. I bought a bike after we got engaged and my fiancèe days later told me "I'm no longer excited to get married." Speeding up to less than one month ago, my fiancèe told me "I am falling out of love with you." To then say "I am ready to get married," and "you'll be a great father." She then a couple of months back took off the ring after her birthday expectations were not met and stashed it in her drawer without communicating to me.
I have become very forgiving with what she says to me during her mood swings and I think have misunderstood what is actually happening. My inkling says that her unstable relationship with her mother may have contributed to my fiancée consistently splitting. I have numerous scenarios where I have failed my fiancée on several occasions, and even after apologizing it still is held against me. Even when I give a rational reason, listen to what she is saying, it's often met with more criticism and more splitting.
Just this past weekend, she told me "we're not good for each other" and I asked for clarification and she said "not in general, but right now." 2 weekends ago, we got into an argument and she said "we're toxic for each other."
I kindly requested that she be more conscious of what she says to me when she is upset. Threatening the relationship is emotionally confusing, and it sends me mixed signals. When I requested this, her response was "I can't help it, you trigger me at times." It just feels like I am in an emotionally unstable relationship responsible for her emotions and for mine.
TL;DR - I came to the realization that my fiancee may be a pwBPD

As Long's position of neutrality on the war continued, a "Popular Front" of anti-fascsit Socialists, Communists, Progressives, and even the more staunch anti-Longist liberals would form in opposition by mid 1940. This "Popular Front against Fascism" would gain enough clout and traction to unite in a decentralized political alliance going into the 1940 elections, and were eager to challenge the President if not outright replace him. I’m starting a new food venture and need some advice on hot holding cooked meat.
If I have cooked a joint of beef that I’m going to be using for sandwiches, and am storing that joint in a Bain Marie container until I need to slice it, at the recommended minimum temperature of 63 degrees Celsius, won’t the meat continue to cook whilst in hot holding?
How do I ensure the meat stays warm but doesn’t continue to cook/dry out/become less tender? I’ll have been slow cooking it in liquid for hours prior, then refrigerating it before it goes in the Bain Marie and really don’t want to ruin it!

I feel like I've given them so many chances. They're branded as a "upscale" grocery store and have price tags to match, but I feel like every time I buy fresh produce from one, something is nearly spoiled. I've gone to buy things that had newly arrived (weren't in stock the week before) that were packaged years ago and months from expiry. I've seen things that have expired on their shelves more than is usual.
I'm all but convinced at this point that some of them are buying old stock from superstore at a discount.
What's the deal here? Anyone else notice this? Am I crazy?
